Shrimp chow mein, pork fried rice, crab rangoon
Andrea W.

Perfect Chinese-American take-out place. We ate inside the restaurant. Very basic and clean. Absolutely delicious food. We got 2 lunch specials: General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll $9.50 ,and shrimp chow mein with crab Rangoon. $9.25. Wonderful flavors and large portion-enough for two lunches! Friendly people and fast service. We will return to Jade Garden next time we're in Hooksett. Can't wait to try some other choices on the menu. Thank You!

Jade Garden just opened in Hooksett, located in the RK Plaza (Kmart & Applebee's). I picked up a takeout menu, which looks very similar to the China Jade menu in Epping, where I had a disappointing meal over the summer. Jade Garden offers the traditional Chinese dishes plus 19 lunch combination platters ($5.50-$5.75) and dinner combination platters ($7.95-$8.25), served daily. This takeout style restaurant has an open kitchen behind the counter, Coke cooler, and seating for up to 30 people. I decided to give Jade Garden a try for lunch. I ordered the Baby Shrimp in Garlic Sauce ($5.75 plus tax) served with pork fried rice and one appetizer (I chose chicken teriyaki). The food was ready in 5 minutes. The food was pretty decent. The dish had mixed vegetables & shrimp in a sweet and spicy sauce served with soy sauce covered pork fried rice. I did enjoy the 2 chicken teriyaki sticks, which were chargrilled and tangy on the outside, but a bit dry and chewy inside. I'd return for lunch since the Jade Garden is conveniently located near my office and the service is quick. NOTE: No personal checks accepted.

I do not understand the reviews for this place. I ordered food and it was disgusting. Will never go there again.

Horrible service and horrible food. Food is not edible and should not be ingested at all.

Best Chinese food on the seacoast. Reliably good. Great local family place. Open on all major holidays.

I decided to trek out to Epsom for lunch on a cold Wednesday since Happy Family offers a Lunch…read moreBuffet on Wednesdays only. When I arrived around 12:15 PM, the parking lot was full and vehicles were parked along the back driveway. The place was hopping with lots of dine-in lunch customers, all here for the weekly all you can eat Chinese lunch buffet, which is $8 plus tax for adults. I waited for about 4 minutes before being seated since they were clearing tables of previous customers. Once seated with a glass of ice water already at my table, I could help myself to the buffet. The lunch buffet had 28 items/dishes to choose from including pork fried rice, veg lo mein, chicken chow mein, beef & broccoli, double cooked pork, mixed vegetables, lobster sauce, General Gau's chicken, kung pao chicken, chicken & vegetables, pork dumplings, chicken wings, boneless spareribs, scallion pancakes, crab rangoon, egg rolls, chicken teriyaki sticks, chicken fingers, salt & pepper shrimp, white rice, onion rings, fries, and dessert bar with red jello, peaches, pineapple, orange wedges, melon, wafer cookies (chocolate & strawberry). There are styrofoam plates at the buffet, quick & easy for the staff to clean up. Regular silverware wrapped in a napkin at each table. The food on the buffet seemed pretty hot & fresh and the staff was trying to keep up with replenishing food on the buffet. Several items (mostly appetizers) were minimally stocked and it took a few moments to restock the popular fried foods including the egg rolls, onion rings, and fries. The lo mein had a mix of snow peas, carrots, & onions tossed in soft noodles. The pork fried rice was soft & mushy with a mix of egg, onion, and small pieces of pork. The General Gau's chicken was very good and it's in the largest tray on the buffet. The pork dumplings were nice and firm. The buffet egg rolls were hot & fresh with cabbage & ground pork inside, smaller than the standard size. Overall, the food on the buffet was pretty good. I was fairly stuffed since I had 3 plates of food and consumed my big lunch in about 15 minutes. I needed to get back to work promptly two towns away. The service here was adequate with the staff quickly clearing away used styrofoam plates and the check was dropped off as I got dessert. Not bad for a small town Chinese restaurant & bar! Judging by the full parking lot and busy dining room, the Wednesday Lunch Buffet is a very popular draw.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. I order takeout almost every week. Great food and always consistent…read moreand exceed expectations!

Coming from California I'm pretty picky about Thai food... But this was awesome! I was really…read morecraving some Asian food and my daughter was sick so I got the wonton soup which at most places around the area is almost $20. Ordered over the phone bc DoorDash was a bit expensive. I appreciate the price point and I loved the drunken noodles. The only mistake made was that it was not ground chicken with a chicken basil dish, but I still loved it and the Thai iced tea just really hit the spot. We brought it back to our hotel and it was the best meal to get over some jet lag. I'll definitely try to return when I can!

Highly Recommend This Restaurant!…read more We absolutely love Thai food, so we decided to stop by and give this place a try--and we were genuinely impressed. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, she treated us to four complimentary vegetable spring rolls, which were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Papaya Salad. All three dishes were outstanding--full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and very close to the authentic local taste we experienced while eating in Bangkok. The restaurant itself has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Thai food, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
