Reviews are accurate. Don't let the worn storefront or empty dining room dissuade you. Ordered take out for lunch. The food was fresh and flavorful with generous portions. The meat was not drowned out by celery like other Chinese restaurants. Nice little mom and pop restaurant. read more

It's hit or miss depending on who is cooking. Most of the time the food is very good and we eat there monthly. I have noticed the take out containers are now much smaller, thinner and you get less food and the prices have increased. read more

Great local Chinese food, sometimes the food can be a little too greasy, but I have tried most of the menu except the seafood and have not been disappointed. I really like the sesame chicken and the lo mein. read more

Solid Chinese food, standard faire. I really like their egg drop soup, fresh and not gloopy like other places. Very friendly staff and I've never had a mistake on my order. Clean facility. read more

Xing Wang - Appetizer Plate: Crab Rangoon, Boneless Spareribs, Beef Teriyaki, Pork Fried Rice - Chinese Near Me - Merrimack, New Hampshire

You come here for the food not the ambiance. Food was hot fresh and delicious. This is a take-out place with two tables to eat at.

Just had an office lunch from Xing Wang! SOOOOOO good, food was fresh, hot! Service was top notch, friendly, and helpful !! We will definitely be ordering again! Thank you!!!!! read more

Basic chinese takeout. Delicious Pork Chow Fun and chicken chow mein. Call your order ahead and it will be warm and delicious. read more

You have gone from my go take out spot to a little better than wok and roll (which is the worst' in the area) Your fried rice is old and like saw dust. read more

Got take out from here on 11/19/24 and everything was so delicious. The wonton soup was the best I've had in NH. Lots of wontons and stuffed, and the broth is flavorful. The Peking ravioli was also amazing and came with a dipping sauce that was on the sweeter side that I enjoyed. Tried the beef chow foon and it was full of tender beef, they did not skimp on the meat in this dish at all. I also liked when you picked up they had a table of condiments available to you, soy sauce, hot mustard, duck sauce etc. along with silverware and napkins and you can take what you need and want. Will definitely be back! read more

Solid chinese food when you are craving it. They have online ordering. Easy pick up and nice people

First time customer. Love the website for ordering. Food was the best Chinese food I've had in this area.

Happy with the food here. I like their hot and sour soup. Pretty normal Chinese food but definitely one of the better spots in the area.

The Chinese food here is pretty good. I come here during lunch hours for the Daily Combination Plates (27 to choose from served with rice & choice of one appetizer, except #20-appetizer plate), priced at $5.75 before 3PM and $8.25 after 3PM. It's order at the counter with open kitchen and small dining area with table seating (usually full during weekday lunch rush). I usually get the #11 Shrimp Lo Mein with pork fried rice & 2 beef teriyaki sticks (sweet and very tender), and the food is ready in under 10 minutes. I would give the food 4 stars, but there was an incident after my last visit. I got my food to go, which was boxed in a styrofoam container & plastic bagged. As I was driving back to the office with my lunch, the box started to leak sauce through the bag and onto the front seat and on some documents. WTF!!! I was not happy and many other Chinese places I've been to will staple the edges of the container to prevent leakage during transport. read more

Friendly place. Food were very good and very reasonable price. Lots of variety. Able to make vegan or vegetarian vegetarian dishes even it's on " meat menu". Very good social distance environment read more

Went in to order lunch. Looks like takeout only. I ordered lunch special shrimp w/veggies chicken wing (no soup option included). Absolutely no personality from woman taking order. I asked if soup was included, she responded NO. I asked for pork fried rice and it was an orange color, wings were dry and shrimp w/veggies absolutely no taste/seasoning. $10.00! The place is pretty dirty and I won't go back. read more

7/6/23. Kinda messy waiting area. All the tables and chairs were piled together as in COVID days. I'd say this is take out only. We did not eat here, looking to dine in. read more

This place came around roughly 20 years ago. I've loved it over the years and my back up or single meal options. Oh my goodness! I hadn't been there in a while so since I was passing by I decided to stop in and bring some home to eat and share. Never again. I don't know what happened but everything seemed so different. Service, yellow fried rice?, my "fried" ravioli were super crispy, sesame chicken was rough and tough, my chicken fingers had an awful weird taste, and since when does duck sauce go in a bucket like that?! Just seems run down and dirty now. Food was awful. I went to Fisher Cats with kids and hubby tonight. We had a suite so I could've waited to eat there, but I hadn't had lunch so I was hungry two hours prior to the game. Well we left before the game was over because I had been nauseous and no I didn't eat anything other than that chinese and a bottle of water. Unfortunately after this entire experience and obvious changes I will never be going back. read more

I had read all the great reviews so thought I would give them a try for take-out. First opinion was a major turn off; it was visually ugly and sort of unclean looking. As another reviewer mentioned their set up was bizarre. Their kitchen obviously at one time was open to the dining room, but is now sealed off with plexiglass with a slid thru window system and microphone to communicate thru. They actually placed a mixing cup into the slidethru that you are supposed to place you cash or credit card into. My guess is that COVID put these ideas in their head. Just weird. Oh well, onto the food. In one word ... terrible!!! I ordered Fried Peking Ravioli and received Steamed Peking Ravioli. Needless to say we did not want or eat these. FAILURE. We also ordered Crab Rangoon and these were close to edible. Again, these were CLOSE to edible. We also got two egg rolls. My guess is that these were right out of a plastic bag in the freezer. Bottom line ..... this was the worse Chinese food I have had in my 40 years here in Southern NH. read more

This is mainly a take-out place, with 5 tables inside. You order at the counter, and they'll bring it over to you once it's ready. Definitely a casual spot - not really a restaurant so much as a takeout joint with a few tables. - I went to the dry cleaners near here and figured I'd try them out for lunch. Pretty good! - First, it's kinda warm in here. It was hot and muggy outside and it was pretty warm in here, too. They have an AC unit in the corner trying it's hardest to cool things off, but it does a terrible job. Anyhow, order at the counter - hot and sour soup, and a lunch portion of general tso's chicken. That and a soda came to under $12. - I sat down and after awhile they bring over the soup. It's in a takeout container. Did I mention this place is causal? Well, the soup was awesome. A little bit too goopy (yeah that's gross but it was overly-thick) but it tasted great. It was fresh too - the liquid was clear. (Foggy hot and sour soup means it's from yesterday). - Then they bring over the chicken - it's in a styrofoam takeout container. I opened it up and was surprised at how much was in there. A giant mound of rice, an enormous egg roll, and a nice amount of chicken. I thought I'd only eat half, but because I'm a pig, I ate nearly all of it. I'm sure I'll be down for the count soon. - The general tso's chicken was OK - I've had better. It could be crispier, but overall it's better than most places. The rice was good. The egg roll was great - reminded me of the kind we'd get at kids from our local chinese restaurant. - It's hot in there. I got the Homer-Simpson-sweats eating here. I'd go again, maybe when it cools down. The food was good so if you're looking for that classic American-style Chinese food, this is your place. read more

NOT GOOD FOOD. It really is just awful... Mushy noodles, the deep fried appetizers were soggy. I am honestly not sure what the meat was that they called "steak" teriyaki. It was not steak. Please take my advice and never step foot in this place. DISGUSTING read more

To put it in perspective I've been eating at this place since I was in elementary school and I'm now a junior in college. They are so friendly. They always ask how I've been and the food is excellent. I've always found it amazing no matter how much time goes between visits they always know who I am and are so friendly. My go to: general tso's chicken! Their fried wontons are the best I've ever had too! read more

Xing Wang - General Tso's dinner w/ pork fried rice, and boneless spare ribs. - Chinese Near Me - Merrimack, New Hampshire

I don't know if maybe we caught them on an off-night, but our food just wasn't good. My normal go-to Chinese restaurant was closed for takeout today so we decided to try Xing Wang. I wish we had not. The chicken tenders were super doughy and greasy. The fried rice is just bland yellow rice l, what looked like boiled chicken, and onions? The beef and broccoli had really tasty vegetables, but the meat was pretty bad. The inside of the restaurant is a little weird...I couldn't ever recommend this place to anyone...but maybe it was just not a good day for them? read more

The food is decent but not worth being an hour over promised times for pick up- this has happened to me twice now. I gave them the benefit of the doubt once. But not again. read more

I have never left a review before but these people earned one today. Very rude! Owner was apparently having a bad day. She basically threw my change at me and then did the same thing with my food. Food was not great either. Place looked dirty too. read more

Ordered the Beef & Broccoli. The vegetables were fine but the beef tasted like it had gone bad. I'm hoping we don't get sick.

The only good Chinese place around at this point. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is quick, my orders are always correct, and the place is consistent!! Honestly can't find that at any other Chinese restaurant around. Highly recommended. read more

Really good and super fresh!!! Hard working family has always provided wonderful food. Just be prepared to wait 10 extra minutes.

Just ordered a meal that cost 77 dollars at #XingWang in Merrimack NH, yet the lady there was so *RUDE! I almost did not have the chance to bring the sauces home. When she yelled: "The sause"! Not even a Thank you?! So rude and the service was really bad... They will never ever see my money again! read more

First time going here and it didn't disappoint. I'd read many positive reviews in this place and that's what determined me trying it out. They definitely don't short you on portion sizes. I got the sesame chicken with pork fried rice. Both were very good. They also allow you to order your other side, not jut throw in a egg roll. I got the crab ragoons, they give you 3, and they were tasty as well. I'd say this will be my go to when I am wanting local Chinese food in the area. read more

Have had Asian cuisine at several local establishments and for my money Xing Wang is the best! Every New Year & several other times per year we get take out from Xing Wang and have never been disappointed by the quality and quantity of the food here. They did forget my crab rangoon one time but they were SO busy it was totally forgivable! Rock on Xing Wang! read more

Whenever I get a hankering for Chinese fast food takeout, I make the drive to Xing Wang. They are fairly consistent (it's chinese fast food don't expect gourmet). I don't know where else to go when I'm in Nashua but XW is a known quantity. read more

Very traditional Chinese food. The lunch box special which is 4.95 bucks is perfect. I like this fast Chinese food restaurant.

Food OK. Dining area is nasty. In a time when everyone is careful about cleanliness, this place doesn't get it.

You know what I despise about this place? Milford has like 20 or so Chinese places... (Yes - Huge exaggeration.) And Xing Wang is in Merrimack! The good news is they are on the way home from work for both myself and my wife so hence we have done this a few times. The somewhat distressed looking interior is a little off putting but the quality of food is outstanding! read more

Best around!! Great family owned place. Owners really care and it shows. Jenny is the owner who's always taking orders or even helping the cooks if needed. Quality of the food is always good and consistent. Combination plates are great and she will always accommodate any special requests without any hesitation. That for me is important due to my picky ways. Lol Try this place and you won't be sorry!! It doesn't seem like much from outside, it's just a small takeout place with great food and it's very clean as well! Lobe this place. read more
