I'll be back soon with aLLL the deets, soon! ALL You need to know is... Just go !! The absolute BEST Mai tai's, EVER ! The best food! it's a style and a taste and an atmosphere, all its OWN ! suuper friendly staff and y(es!) I claim this restaurant ! (or this place of business, rather.. I have journeyed through an enjoyable path of employment there, 2006-2010) it's still one of my most favorite places to go in the Queen City, to eat, drink and have, oH. SuCH a good-good time ! All the servers and staff having a great time, right along side you and yours...everyone iS always happy to see you!

Beef and broccoli. Was very good too

Got some chicken fried rice, egg rolls, teriyaki, chicken fingers, and beef and broccoli the other day with a buddy up from FL. The bar was full of regulars all gossiping about each other but we ignored and got our food. The egg rolls have a single shrimp in the middle of each one(yuck) but you can pick them out. The shrimp is larger now than years ago when i last visited. The beef and broccoli was great and so was the chicken fried rice. The rice was almost slimy cuz of how much delicious soy and other sauces it contained. Chicken fingers and teriyaki were also good. Teriyaki no longer comes on the wooden block with skewers standing up. Pupu platter is 30$ now and 3$ for each substitution. So annoying i get charged 3$ more to get rid of each of the nasty fish containing items on the pupu. Just not justifiable to order 40$ pup cuz i dont like shrimp, or crab. Overall the ambiance was better than when i saw cockroaches crawling along the bar years ago. Grateful dead was playing which was cool. Chili paste here is the only thing left that sets them apart from the competition imo. It is FANTASTIC.

First visit to the strip mall restaurant that's been around for decades. Not an over-the-top tiki feel, but some antique Chinese paintings and relief work in the large boot bed dining room add legitimacy. Hospitality: A huge strong suit. Exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful server, on top of their customary rolls and complimentary crab rangoons (one per customer). Nice! Plus pineapple chunks along with fortune cookies with the check. Appetizer Tidbits were a fitting intro, less of a commitment than a pupu platter, but good variety: -- Egg Roll: Crisp, tasty, solid, no bells or whistles, nothing positive or negative to distinguish it as other than decent to solid. -- Spareribs on the bone: Large, meaty, brown (no red), with a clear-to-brown honey-ish glaze. A little long in the tooth, so not as tender or moist as hoped. The only real disappointment. -- Chicken Fingers: Good size, typical meat-to-batter ratio, corndog style batter, but with a twist: a very noticeable sweetness that made them more like chicken donuts. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Gotta be in the right mood, perhaps, but I enjoyed them. Server scored us some sweet and sour sauce on the side. Bonus points for the flexibility. Typical red sauce, so no bonus points for creativity, but more bonus points for the increasingly elusive pineapples and cherries. Chicken Wings with Oyster Sauce: A very generous order, with the wings borderline crisp and more of a boiled/stewed feel. Sauce had nice flavor but a lighter version of it (both color and texture) than Boston area. Lobster Sauce: A very solid version with freshness, tenderness and good flavor. Not that dark and no black bean (or other inclusion), but no problem. Subtle but very effective. Although probably not in my top 5, right there in that next echelon. Pork Fried Rice: Decent color, decent texture, decent pork inclusions. Nothing special, but got the job done nicely. Pork Egg Foo Yong: Good flavor and texture throughout. Nothing really jumped out as notable on either the positive or negative side, just a good solid version. So overall I liked Aloha and I'd definitely go back, but rank it higher than or think of it on the same level as Tahiti or Golden Temple closer to Boston.

    Subgum Chicken Fried Rice

May 26 around dinner, me and the fam went to Aloha in Manchester. It's in a strip mall and looks pretty beat up from the outside. We walked in and things started to look up. It was 6 and dead. There wasn't anyone there except a 3 older couples. The place was clean and I liked the paintings they had on the wall which were Chinese influenced. When we were seated we were served bread and 3 crab rangoon both complimentary! We ordered the Pupu platter for 3 and we decided to switch it up and see if we'd get higher quality rice by ordering chicken fried rice. We also got an order of crab rangoons and Peking ravioli. We subbed out the shrimp on the platter for extra egg rolls. Everything on the Pupu platter was delicious except the boneless ribs were a bit hit or miss. Some were better than others. The rest was spectacular. The wings were served with the wing tip on then which usually puts me off a bit and there were still some feather bits on my wing. I was buzzed and hungry so, I plucked my wing snapped off that tip myself and dug in. It was amazing. That chicken wing was so delicious! My son said the chicken fingers were the best he's had. The egg rolls were old school celery and pork filled deliciousness and the crab Rangoon slapped. My wife and I like the teriyaki a lot but our son didn't. The Peking ravioli were bussin! The bad? The fried rice had great flavor and coloring but the chicken wasn't great in it. I would stick with the pork fried rice next time. This visit pushes Aloha into our #2 spot on our quest for the best.

Giant servings well worth the price

My friends brought me here on a whim. I will start off by saying the staff was great and the food was delicious even though they weren't able to tell me if anything was gluten free. I was willing to risk it- the beef and vegetables didn't give me any reaction but I can't say the same for anyone else with gluten sensitivities. The restaurant is spacious with seating areas that feel somewhat private. The food was quite expensive but for the portion sizes and quality I would say that's fair.

Just came back from Aloha in Manchester. We know it's not authentic Chinese food, but every once in a while we need our American-Chinese fix and have been going there for years. On this occasion we ordered the Seafood Lo Mein for Two. According to the menu, it price is $38.50 but has scallops, shrimp, and lobster, so we felt like it was worth it. We were informed that they ran out of lobster but we still hesitantly ordered it, assuming it would still be a nice seafood dish. When it arrived, in addition to being out of lobster, the shrimp were literally half the size of salad shrimp (see pic...shrimp is next to a quarter for scale). When the waitress asked if we were all set, I said, "yes, but I'm kind of hoping you guys arent still charging the $38.50 the menu stated for scallops, shrimp, and lobster, considering you were out of lobster and such inexpensive shrimp were used", fully prepared to pay full price if necessary and just never order that dish again. She sent the manager over and I repeated what I said to the waitress. He was snapped back saying, "well thats how it's made, so that's the way it is". I told him there was no reason to be rude, as a customer I was just pointing out that the dish, as it was served, didn't offer the same value as the menu indicated. He said, "so, what you're telling me is you don't think you should have to pay anything at all?!" I told him I never said that at all, I just didn't think the dish offered the same value as served. He screamed that he knows we're regulars and assumed by now we knew how to read the menu. WHAT?! the point is the dish we READ wasn't the dish we got, but i didn't say that. There was no way to have a civilized conversation with him. He eventually said, "fine, I'll take $4 off"! and stomped off. My husband the waitress, and I were all looking at each other in shock. I asked the waitress if he treats all the customers like that because he's incredibly rude. He storms back in and said, "you know what, I'm giving you nothing"! and charged us full price. So, instead of at least pretending to be understanding, much less reducing the price for the dish, he's lost 2 customers for life. We work WAY too hard for our money to be treated badly, and there are so many dining options out there, managers like him should understand the importance of customer service. What a whack job!!!

I really wanted fish but being from the Boston area I hesitate to order when I'm away especially if I'm not right on the ocean. Anyhow I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the haddock sandwich and the mussels appetizer to go back to the hotel. I can't think of one thing that didn't impress me. First the sandwich, HUGE, fresh, nicely fried piece of haddock packaged beautifully on a bed of lettuce with a nice wedge of lemon; brioche bun lightly toasted and buttered bagged separately; tarter sauce and coleslaw (loved the coleslaw!) on the side. This came with a side ( I chose sweet potato fries). The mussels appetizer, delicious, fresh and enough for a meal for my daughter and I! The broth was so good we could drink it out of the bowl, but we were lucky enough to have a nice bag of toasted bread served with them to sop it up with. All this for under $40! I also have to mention the waitstaff was super attentive and helpful even though it was Friday night and there was a lot going on. That kind of professionalism did not go unnoticed. I am looking forward to experiencing the full dining experience and will definitely be back!

I was heart broken but it was my own undoing as I djdnt make a reservation. Just as I was opening yelp to find another place to try she came and got me from outside as a spot opened up! That's service! And I won't forget it. All the staff was very kind and she checked in with me several times during my meal to make sure it was going well. The ambiance is a little noisy but it's a raw bar that has sports on. The food is delicious. I could have eaten the Cippino forever! The broth was a complex delicious and perfectly spiced tomato base. The seafood was plentiful and large sized. I have never seen shrimp so big! I also ate oysters and had an amazing home made peaches and cream cheese cake. Listen I don't really like cheese cake but I could eat that cake everyday for the rest of my life. Everything from start to finish once I sat down. Was delicious and the staff was very kind. This food was fired fresh in the kitchen. I could see if from my bar seat. So if it took a little bit it was worth it! I'd eat here the next time I'm in Manchester 10/10

The restaurant isn't very big but big enough I suppose. Great lighting and I love the jazz music playing in the background. I noticed the dress was more business casual, but in my opinion, I also noticed folks coming in that were dressed way too casual. The staff in general were very customer oriented. Our server, Sydney, was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. When you go to place like the chophouse, you don't order the chicken, you go with what they do best.. steak. To start the dinner I had the French onion soup. I'm a big fan of French onion soup and this soup was the next level great. For dinner, I had the Del Monaco and it came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. The steak was cooked to perfection and was properly seasoned. I enjoyed the vegetable medley and mashed potatoes as well. It all tasted great. Although my meal was excellent, the best part was dessert! I don't normally order dessert at restaurants, not my thing. I'm usually too full by the end of the meal. But, I had to try the gooey butter cake which came with homemade cherry ice cream. Loved the swank New York feel with dark wood walls, and ambient lighting in the area that we were seated in. We all got to choose from a couple options for each of the courses on a 4 course menu. For my appetizer I got the truffled mushroom ravioli and it was so good I didn't want to share- but I did lol and everyone else liked it too. We all got the Cesar salad which was one of the best I've had- not over dressed and very flavorful. I got the sea scallops for my entree an loved it! Was worried about ordering it because when u get grit in a scallop your wary about ordering ever again but the server assured me that I would not be disappointed and they were absolutely right. The scallops were sweet and perfectly cooked. My only complaint was there wasn't enough. Feel like there should have been more than three because they weren't that big. Especially compared to the ribeye that everyone else ordered which was also prepared very well and enjoyed by all. Definitely a heartier meal if you're hungry. Carrot cake was the only option for dessert, but as a chocolate lover, I was not disappointed. It was the perfect ending for a delicious meal.
