Hi, We have been to…read morethis restaurant 6-7 times. We had a great time every time we went to IZUMI! Saturday was a disaster! We felt ignored. The Mai Tais took forever to arrive. The Chef was funny and talented BUT he over cooked everything. The eggs had burnt around the edges when he folded them into the rice. The rice was overdone, dry and had too much butter added to it. But the biggest disappointment was the rare filet mignon we ordered was also over done. PLUS i did not think I was Filet. It had sinew in it like run of the mill sirloin. How did I know? My father in law is a butcher and the meat just was not up to par. For 4 adults it was over $200 and the first time none of us took leftovers home. So disappointed!

If you know we're good, Japanese food is, don't come here and frankly you may need to drive to Boston to get it.
