From the moment we walked in the service was great. It took a few minutes before being seated at the bar top. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere and ambiance was perfect setting for the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was amazing and the pizza was pretty close to home. Definitely worth it.

Bar area and buffalo cauliflower appetizer which we enjoyed

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a fun place to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend making reservations. We took a chance because it seemed like it wouldn't have been busy that time of year. Beginning of October, we were wrong. There were three of us and the wait was one hour. We indicated that it was too long of a wait we would come back. We were almost to our car. The young lady came out and said, would you mind sitting at the bar we said no? [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were three seats with a great view of them making pizza in a copper pizza oven.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender was very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It ended up being a fun night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great food. Definitely will return next year when we vacation in Newfane Vermont. With reservations

I wish I could give the fat crow 5 million stars. The new haven style pizza is unbeatable and the owner and staff are so kind. Every time I come to visit, whether it's been months or weeks, I feel like a regular. Make sure to make a reservation if you plan on going - the place tends to be packed for good reason!

On a drizzly day, we drove 20 minutes to come here just for the food. And boy the Fat Crow did not disappoint. Here's what we ordered: Steamed Little Neck Clams, Margarita Pizza, Lobster Bisque, New England Clam Chowder, and the Squirrel Burger (Vegan). We were so hungry, forgot to take pictures of our food so I only have a picture of the New England clam chowder. We did not make reservations ahead of time and so we could only order take out and sit outside on the picnic tables under the tents. You get a pager that buzzed when your food is ready. The place looks bigger on the outside than in. The oven in the kitchen is impressive. I would recommend to call ahead and make a reservation.

Locally sourced foods. Had an amazing kimchi burger the other night. Cooked as ordered- medium rare. Also an excellent salad. Their Brussels sprouts and wood fired pizza are good too.

We were at Mount Snow for the weekend and someone recommended this place. They said make sure you make a reservation. I called on a Wednesday to make a res for that Saturday and they were almost all booked! Definitely make a reservation in advance asap. Cool ambiance and decor. We couldn't decide what we wanted so we shared a bunch of stuff knowing we would take food home. We tried the cod fish tacos, mussels, egg plant fries, and a spicy oil cheese pizza. Everything was so delicious. Im not usually a fish taco fan but they were actually my favorite. Perfectly fresh and crispy but not greasy. Wish we could have tried everything! I also want to say that the staff was very friendly. There was a gentleman in a black chef coat who i thought might have been the owner was even helping the servers clean tables to get everyone seated in timely manner. Which really shows you how he cares for his business and the experience people have at his restaurant. 10/10 recommend if your in the area.

Flourless Chocolate Cake- needed to share we were so full from dinner.

Great food. Lousy greeter. Really rude. Smile more and you might have happier customers.

A gem of a place in newfane. Service is great. Food is great. Only downside is the seating is tight on a busy night.

I found the food was inconsistent and the owner was very rude. The seating was very close and confining.

Sam's is in a small plaza set back from the street. Inside you find a nice casual pizza place, as you come in you have the pizza kitchen with the large wood fired pizza oven. You can order slices or whole pies, they also have salads, wings and a couple of sandwiches. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and grabbed a table by the small bar area. The bar has beer and wine, they offer a very nice selection of local brews. After settling in the pizza showed up quickly. Sam's pizzas are thin crust, nicely cheesy and have a good basic tomato sauce. The pizza are very good with a nice balance between the yeasty crust, the pungent cheese and the slightly sweet sauce. The mushrooms were a nice touch to add some extra umami to the pie. The pizza was well cooked, although I would usually like it a bit more well done. On the table is garlic powder, hot pepper, oregano, grated cheese and even some hot honey, so you can modify your pizza to your taste. The large pie made a nice dinner split between the two of us, we each got 4 good sized slices. Sam's is a great casual pizza joint, the atmosphere is relaxed, service is quick and we even had some very good live music to compliment our meal. If you are looking to get some good pizza and some beers you can't go wrong by heading to Sam's Wood Fire Pizza.

The cheese blend on the extra‑cheese pizza was especially tasty, and a custom veggie pie (broccoli, greens pepper, mushrooms) had probably the most thin, uniform distribution of toppings we've ever seen. Literally every bite had small cut, perfectly cooked vegetables in it. The crust might have been our favorite part -- that ideal mix of soft and thin, with great texture and flavor. We know pizza reviews can sometimes get a rough rap, especially when people compare everything to NYC or New Haven styles. We're very familiar with those and love them. This isn't that -- and it doesn't need to be. This is simply wonderful pizza, the kind you look forward to having again. We really enjoyed the whole experience and will absolutely return on future visits to Manchester Center.
