    Coleslaw

My wife ordered the $20 steak and cheese with a side of coleslaw and Loaded Fries. This sandwich was delivered on greasy toast, this missed the mark IMO, because it's a fat overload. I suggest using a bakery roll in place of the toast. I one of these The loaded fries also missed the mark, this inspired creation include some dabs of salsa from a jar and some substandard cheese. . The steak was definitely not your standard shredded meat. You'd find an a sub shop however it was sliced poorly . The coleslaw was also clearly out of a bag with some heavy dressing pour on it right before they gave it to us Overall, I would avoid this establishment until their chef get together. On the bright side, the staff was friendly, and professional.

I really didn't expect to eat good food in Brattleboro, VT but I have to say that I am extremely surprised. Was able to walk into this restaurant without a reservation on a Saturday night which was pretty good and was seated right away at the bar. - Steak Bomb - This sounded like a heart attack but it wasn't as bad as what it was made out to be. The steak was more tender than the one on the pizza and I appreciate how much cheese they put into the sandwich. My favorite part, oddly enough, was the arugula salad. It's probably because I haven't eaten vegetables in the past few days. - Black & Blue - I didn't care much for the steak on the pizza, it wasn't super tender, BUT the combination of the blue cheese with the mozarella was actually so shockingly good. Every pizza place should think thought about having this combination as the tart and earthy flavors of the blue cheese mixes perfectly well with the rich mozzarella cheese. The crust wasn't anything to die for but the blue cheese and the broccoli was honestly very good. - Ice Cream Sundae - Love a good ice cream sundae! I appreciate how much sauce they put into the sundae because every bite was bursting with flavor in the perfect melty concoction. Honestly, not a bad place to eat at all and would definitely come back when in the area. Also people watching here is so interesting because everyone just seems like they are part of one big community which is very nice to see.

This restaurant is so cute, the windows and twinkley lights make the ambiance nice and cute. I had a great server, he was helpful and friendly! The calamari was good, I got the Marinara in place of aioli and got the truffle fries on the side. The truffle fries were everything I needed them to be. Plus the fresh lemonade, just get it.

After spending $90, I didn't get the Mac and cheese and all of our fries were cold and hard as if they'd been sitting for hours. My grill cheese was more like buttered toast with warm cheese and our burger had a gluten free bun which was not asked for. I can see the food would have been good if prepared and presented better than this though and the chicken club was perfect and enjoyed. This garlic bread is a perfect example of our meal.

Raw burger when asked for medium well

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Our food took over an hour to come without our waitress bothering to check on us. Never apologized for the wait, just "your food's almost done." I ordered my burger medium well, it came looking like raw hamburger - completely pink. My sister's salad had avocado that was completely brown and it was the smallest $20 salad I'd ever seen. Super disappointing experience, we were really excited to try this place.

Great dependable restaurant for many years. Visit from Boston to camp every year for the last 12 years, always great on a Saturday night.

The beignets were the star of the show!! Plus the burgers are great too Service: 5/5 spot on and extremely efficient. The space itself is small, so I'd definitely suggest calling ahead to see if they have room. There's basically no indoor waiting area, and standing by the door or outside in the winter, like we did, got uncomfortable enough that we almost left for another place, even though the wait was only about 20 minutes. Our server was friendly and tried to stay on top of things, but you could tell she was a bit overwhelmed with how busy it was and the constant flow of people coming through the door. In our group, a couple of the burgers came out very undercooked, with blood pooling on the plate. No one had been asked how they wanted their burger cooked and it wasn't mentioned when we ordered, so it was an unpleasant surprise even if it wasn't exactly anyone's "fault." I ordered the spicy Korean fried chicken sandwich, which ended up being just okay. The bottom of the bun was soggy, so it fell apart and was hard to pick up and eat. The kimchi on the sandwich didn't bring much flavor or heat, so it kind of missed the mark for something that's supposed to be a bold, spicy option.

Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. Bright, refreshing, unbelievably fresh, and balanced perfectly. They were the kind of oysters you slow down for because you don't want the bite to end. I ordered the duck ragu again because I couldn't stop thinking about it from my last visit -- and once again, absolute perfection. Rich, comforting, layered with flavor, and yes... I cleaned the plate spotless. Not a drop left behind. From the hospitality to the execution of every dish, everything about this restaurant screams class, quality, and a superb dining experience. The team makes you feel welcome, the food exceeds expectations, and you leave already planning your next reservation. Manchester is lucky to have a place like this.

It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him. I can recommend carryout, if you absolutely have to have some pasta in this area, but not eating in, and don't get anything that seems weird on the menu. What used to be a sketchy area is now filled with boutique shops, bustling businesses of tech and industry, arts, culture, and restaurants. One such upscale craft cocktail bar is Wolf Tree. If you didn't know it, you might feel as if you'd stepped into a hipster cocktail lounge in Brooklyn as you walk into Wolf Tree. They offer a variety of playful and inventive drinks. My friend was able to get a virgin cocktail but I just wish they had more than one single cocktail on the menu with vodka. With my choices somewhat limited, I went with a drink called "Friday I'm In Love": vodka, citrus, strawberry, mint, and bubbles. It looked beautiful when it arrived to the table and was a palate pleaser with sour, sweet, and minty flavors. They have weekly specials, classic-type cocktails, and what they call "happy meals" - a beer and shot combination. Don't fear, though, they still have Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller High Life, and other draft beers for those feeling more traditional Upper Valley. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards that featured local selections of cheese and meats, olives, pickled vegetables, cured mustards, and a baguette. A great selection but like most of Wolf Tree, a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my first trip to Wolf Tree and I'm glad hip places like this exist in the Upper Valley.
