TC's in Dover, Vermont is everything you want in a local spot -- excellent food, fast service, and genuinely kind people. We visited on a very busy weekend in January. The food came out quickly and was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. You can tell this is a place that's well run and cares about its customers. But what truly set TC's apart was Lauren, the manager. After our visit, my young son accidentally left behind a backpack that holds a lot of sentimental value to us. Lauren personally took the time to locate it and then mailed it back to us in New Jersey at no charge. That level of thoughtfulness and care is incredibly rare and meant so much to our family. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in the area, and we can't recommend TC's highly enough -- not just for the food, but for the people. This is how you create lifelong customers. Was looking for a dinner spot, a lot of the places trying to fit in 14 ppl were simply giving us very long wait times... This little New England restaurant, though, still had first-come, first-serve seating, and parking lot a bit crowded but found a spot at a corner to park. They originally had a 2hr wait for 14 ppl (we had a few tables ahead of us) but ended up giving us two tables if we were ok to cram together, which we were - super grateful for that! Didn't realize it before we went, but this shop was Kelly Clark's parents' restaurant, and the memorabilia was cool. Cheap beers and drinks, wings were ok (wings needed to be crispier and have more spicy buffalo sauce, the bbq version was just ok). The chowder was thinner compared to Anchor Seafood down the way, and the tuna nachos were ok (on light puffed rice chips w/ some seaweed salad to the side, mayo or similar across the top could've been better with some yuzu or ponzu sauce instead). Fried pickles were large and great, though, as were the fried cheese and pretzels. The truffle cheese fries were heavy but still needed more cheese and table didn't enjoy it as much. St. Louis Ribs were ok, but the Short Rib Stroganoff and the Lobster Mac N' Cheese were table favorites - and warmed up really well the next day with the generous portion helping balance the cost as it was basically two meals in one. Game and fun bathroom signs in the waiting area upfront. Staffers were busy but definitely worked to satisfy our tables' orders and needs and kept cheery while at it. Very tight seating spaces so make a note if you're on the bigger side, it may not be as comfortable depending on the seat you get. A bit spendier (there's food tax, LWB tax, and town tax...) but no credit card surcharge. Overall I'm giving this a 4 star b/c of the service. Food I've had better, but service was very helpful. read more

Great and cozy family friendly restaurant, close to my other half's vacation home and ski resort. Welcoming staff and good service. Cool snowboarding decor. Food was good, we ordered the classic wedge salad, crispy salmon, braised beef short rib and the baileys cheesecake for dessert. Cozy restaurant in Vermont close by Mount Snow. We ordered a wide selection of appetizers and entrees and everything was great. The appetizers came quickly. The fried pickles and Wu Tang wings were solid (they can make the Wu Tang Sauce Mild or Spicy). The Golden Bubble White Flatbread was tasty as well. The Dark & Stormy cocktail and grapefruit mule were fantastic. The waitresses checked on our table a few times and helped us find the bathroom. The place was great for a casual dinner. read more

Came here during my vacation for dinner out in town. A local favorite and closeby to both the resort and to our airb&b. We decided we wanted something comforting and some sort of salad as a healthy fix to our non-healthy diet of burgers and chili soup for a few days. Salad was simple and refreshing. The warm bread was such a delight that we all gobbled it up. The only negative was that their soup of the day was a braised beef stew with vegetables which sounded amazing but it looked more like a watery beef chili with vegetables and beans. If you're in the area this place is a must! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and it was amazing! Our waiter Alex was the best and super friendly. I got an espresso martini that was perfect, and I got the short rib fettuccine which was very tender & delicious. Love it here :) they also have an option on their menu to buy the kitchen staff a round of beers after their shift and I thought that was amazing! They definitely deserve it! read more

Me and my dad were the only ones in the restaurant we ordered chili it came out first. Then we got the steak and caramelized onion pizza. That took so long because the pizza oven needed to preheat and we were starving and waiting for over 20mins, when it came it wasn't even hot. They were very nice at the end of the day and comped it and that just shows how kind people can be so thank you. The flatbreads are amazing, a must eat. I would recommend this place. read more

Restaurant is so cute very little skii town vibe. Our waitress was phenomenal and very attentive. We skied all day and wanted a good food spot to stop at. Wings in Vermont are phenomenal the chickens up here are different and this is coming from a NJ resident. Wings superb deff try them, fried pickles not my style but my friends say it was top notch. This place is, IMHO, is the best in mount snow. If you visit the mountain and don't have a night at TC's you are really missing out. The food, the service, the vibe, the way the staff all flows and works together, it's all just top notch. Ramie was our server (hope I spelled that right) and he's just awesome. What a bro lol he had perfect knowledge of the menu, never left us waiting or looking for him, and made us feel super comfortable about some very odd requests we made. Our group really enjoyed our meals, first we got some fried pickles to share, everyone really loved them but one person didn't like the sauce they came with. The burger was very good and juicy, I also thought the toppings were very fresh tasting I also loved the fries. Somebody got a bacon burger and thought the same as me. Somebody else got the steak tips and loved the mashed potatoes and asparagus that came with it. Another person got the long John flatbread pizza and said it was very tasty. And the last person got the lobster Mac and cheese, they said it was a 9/10 but it got stuck in their teeth. I loved the way the restaurant looked, it was clean and cozy also they have public bathrooms. The soda was also not to watered down but also not to syrupy. This was perfect for an after skiing trip , very nice and efficient staff as well. If I'm ever in the area I will be sure to come back. read more

This restaurant is one of the safest in the Mount Snow area, they take reservations only during Covid and take strict precautions to ensure my families safety. The entire bar has plexiglass even between different parties. I loved the teriyaki wings, wedge salad, and we had both dishes with the short rib. The veggie rice bowl was amazing for a veggie option, but we added seared ahi tuna which made it absolutely delicious. read more

It's probably the A frame structure but this place has the feel of a 70s ski lodge that I love. We always make a point to stop in a couple times when we're in town to ski at Mount Snow and the staff is friendly, the locals funny, and the food tasty. It does get crowded on weekends during ski season though so get there early. read more

This is a fun restaurant to unwind in. Visited this past Sunday evening and it wasn't overly crowded, but busy enough to know it is one of the more popular spots in the area. We grabbed a table in the bar area and received wonderful service. I love those places where everyone chips in to take care of its customers and that is exactly what they do here. Everyone we came in contact with was super nice to some obvious tourists. Had to order up a French Onion Soup (special) and it did not disappoint. Not overly salty and nice balance of onions, bread, cheese. Every bite was fantastic. We split a flatbread too and man, was it flat (think super thin crust). It was very tasty and my only complaint would be to put more arugula. It was lacking big time. 2 leafs a slice? Normally, it is piled on, but still a good choice. Fantastic tap list to say the least. We left there very satisfied. $ well spent. Will gladly return on our next trip to Mount Snow. read more

If your going to eat here make sure it's your last option. The service is quick. To quick. We were served our entrees in the middle of our appetizers and in and out of the restaurant in 25 minutes. I have mixed emotions with the food. The flatbread is rather nice, while everything else is horrible. Reliving my High School cafeteria days in the restaurant was nice, but not worth the price. The pasta in the chicken parmiggiano was taste less, while the chicken parm tasted that of a frozen piece of meat served in public school cafeterias. The lasagna was dry. It was in dire need of the tasteless pasta sauce to help to rejuvenate the shriveled noodles. If there is one thing you should not order it is any of the short rib dishes. While you can taste the short rib fettuccini it's the overpowering salty taste of the sauce it's braised in. The braised beef short ribs are also tasteless. I suppose it was done on purpose as the texture is nice. While I don't often write reviews my experience at TCs has warranted one. At the end of the day if you want to eat here go for it. It's a perfect spot to replicate COVID symptoms as you will not be able to taste just about anything you order. read more

We were lulled by the great reviews and were pretty disappointed with the food. We ordered the tuna nachos, which were the only decent thing. Nachos were a little greasy but we still liked it and a decent amount of tuna. My girlfriend ordered their special Thai soup. Nothing that about it. Tasted like a barley soup. She could only eat the broth. I ordered the short ribs. Rare to screw up short ribs. They went away but they were somewhat tough and had little flavor. Service was decent except our server never checked on us throughout the meal except quickly passing by once. She seemed busy so we didn't care and still have her a nice tip. Luckily, they took a group of 8. We shared the mussels, truffle fries & wings for apps. My fav was the mussels in the cream broth. It had great favors. Most of us got the steak tips and they were mouth watering. The only downfall of this dish was the truffle mash potatoes, they were very dense & clumpy. But I would order it again, my husband tried to steal it from him. He got the lobster Mac n cheese. It had large chucks of lobster but I think he would have preferred it to be cheesier. Where do I even start? This place is fantastic. Recently stopped in by chance while passing by and got the chicken parm sandwich which was great. That's not why I'm writing this review, though. I'm writing it because while getting out of my car I accidentally locked myself out. So, while I was having lunch I was on the phone with AAA for a while to no avail. It wasn't long before my server came over and asked me if everything was okay. I told her yes and that I was just trying to get a hold of AAA because I was locked out of my car. I continued to eat and wait on the phone before the bartender (and I think owner) came over to my table and offered to call his buddy who was a locksmith. So Nice! Unfortunately the locksmith friend was out of town, so I continued to try AAA before finding out that my membership had expired. When one of the waitresses found this out, she immediately offered to use her own account to call someone on my behalf. This place is run by some of the nicest people I've ever met. Seriously: one of the waitresses even offered to drive me back to my rental place so I wouldn't have to kill time at the restaurant! The food was fantastic but the blonde short haired hostess needs to go. We had a large group so we made sure to call in advance to assure a table. She told us that the restaurant was very busy and could not take us for at least a half hour so we waited and showed up exactly on time. Upon arrival we were greeted with nothing but hostility and attitude because she didn't want to deal with a group our size. Learned about this place on chairlift, it was recommended - stopped by for dinner on Easter Sunday and my boys and I were seated immediately. Server was efficient and friendly. We were a party of 7. First off, someone threw up at the table next to us, gross but they cleaned it it up quickly and it was whatever.. we ordered a Cesar salad and it was delicious. I got a grapefruit mule for $11 and it was literally just syrup, it tasted thick and horrible. Two of us got this and neither of us finished because it was gross. Then 5/7 of the table got served and the other two of us waited over 10 minutes for our food (veggie lasagna and chicken parm) and I had to ask "are we ever going to get our food?" To which the response was "yes" and no explanation.. when they brought the food there was no explanation/apology even though EVERYONE AT OUR TABLE WAS DONE EATING.
