Terrible
Shaelle R.

Only chose 1 star to leave a review but wow. Sh*ttiest manicure and pedicure I've had in YEARS. I usually have my regular nail tech but she's been busy so I decided to come here since everyone's always speaking highly about (no idea why). The lady SOAKED my gel manicure to remove the polish... it's gel not acrylic -- she was doing more harm than good at that point. At that point I said screw the gel manicure, just give me a regular one and call it a day. All of my nails are different shapes, the process was rushed so she cut me while removing cuticles. Then when they gave me the total? Forget it. Save your money and go to Nail Flower in Union.

Only giving this place one star because you can't give zero. I have to attend an event this weekend and decided to give this place a shot. Walked out of there with crooked nails and a chunk of my eyebrow missing. Nails I can deal with, they'll grow back quickly enough. But I now have to fill in my eyebrow. Thanks for nothing.

Was skeptical about this place just by walking in. Really dingy looking, out of date, floor looked dusty like it hadn't been swept in forever. I was desperate to get my toes done and the place I always go to was jam packed today. Customer service was not outstanding. I was not greeted when I entered. I had to walk up to a lady in order to be acknowledged and then asked what I needed done. Clean? Nothing was taken out from new packaging that signified it came out of a sterilizing machine. That grossed me out. Coming from a cosmetic background with a NJ state license, I know all the dirt and grim about salons. I was also asked if i wanted my feet razored. After I said no thank you, she removed it from a random draw anyway underneath the pedi station and it did not look clean at all. Not to mention that razoring feet is ILLEGAL. Pictures attached were at the drying station. Not so lovely to look at. To end on a good & positive note, the lady who did my toes was super gentle and did a really good job. Especially with the foot massage, very soft! Paint job was great. I had one concern and she was able to address it and make me comfortable. I was also a pain in the ass about the color and she picked something else for me without attitude. Patience is key! Wish I got her name but thank you again

The guy who did my nails did an amazing job. I did a walk in and waited five minutes and got started which was very appreciated, and there was great customer service. The price was standard, I did a full set of tips with gel nail polish and got a coffin shape and it cost $45.00

Upon entry it wasn't very busy on a Sunday morning (Should've been warning #1). A lady named Lynne proceeded to do my toe nails. Everything started off fine. The water began to get extremely hot. I told the lady and she said, "Its not hot, it's because outside is so cold, and your feet are still cold". I thought to myself, no actually it's hot and I'm about to get burned. I wanted dark blue nails and she pushed for me to get a silver polish on my big toe. I already knew I wanted blue and red for my college reunion colors. She said "I know best, this looks better" and proceeded to paint my toe silver. I told her that's not what I want and she changed it to what I asked for after 5mins or debating. Eyebrows: Not very clean, I had to go back and have her clean them up. Gel manicure: She insisted on me getting tips. I told her no because I work in an OR and not allowed to have them. I simply want a gel mani as I've done for the last 8yrs. She said I needed a hard gel coat first, something I've never heard of or had done and she takes it upon herself to do it. End result.l, my nails looked like a 5 year old did them during a play day at a tea party. The bill ended up being $62, I was stunned. All these added services she took upon herself to do were all at additional cost. I was livid! I've never even paid those prices in the city (Bronx, Queens, Or Brooklyn) for a mani, pedi and eyebrow. I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

I wanted to wait until I got another manicure so I could write a review…read more First off I'll like to say, I took a big chance on trying out a nail salon that none of my family members or friends had ever tried before. I've always gone to places that were recommended to me. See it's different from trying new restaurants because the thought of trying new dishes are exciting, but when it comes to my nails it's personal LOL. Having gone to a horrible nail salon just for convenience without looking at reviews with my mom had me traumatized. But I'm glad I took the chance with Fusion Nail Bar. So with this nail salon, it's located on a busy main room (Rt 27 or as we like to call it St George) and can be missed since it's nestled in between a bicycle shop and a Caribbean restaurant (btw is bomb af). There's street parking along the main road or you can TRY to find parking down the one way street near the apartment complexes. (Good luck). If you go during the late afternoon or evening, finding shouldn't be too hard to find on St George. As soon as you walk into the salon, you are taken to an aesthetically pleasing ambiance with the greys, blues and white with splashes of the yellow chairs. The waiting area is very welcoming, but honestly I didn't have to wait long to be seen. My first visit was great. My nail technician (I think it was Nicole?!) she saw how my nails were wrecked and suggested trying powder dip. She was patient and walked me through whatever she was doing, especially when my eyebrows were raised. My nails lasted for about a good 3 weeks. I recently went back to get my nails redone, and my nails turnt out amazing. The only down flaw read that I had asked for the a clean gold line for two of my fingers, but it didn't look clean and came off like the next day. It's all good because the base is still pretty. Overall coming here again and recommending it to my gals.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Why make an appointment if you are not going to seat me…read moreright away. First off, they wouldn't unlock the door to let me in. I stood outside for a solid 5 minutes before they let me in. Then I sat in the waiting chairs for my appointment, and listened to the staff talk poorly about me in Spanish while I fully understand it. 15 minutes past my appointment time, and being fed up with what they were saying, I decided to leave. I got multiple emails and phone calls from the manager apologizing after leaving, but it does not make up for the terrible treatment I was given there. After posting a review on google, the manager RUDELY responded 'claiming that it didn't happen in her salon' WHEN I FULL ON HAVE AN EMAIL FROM HER SAYING IT DID HAPPEN. Sad that managers can't take responsibilities for their actions. SHAME ON YOU
