I like the techs because they do exactly what is asked from the customer. They are honest with you if they can not do a design you show them. Jessica always known as yessy does a great job on the feet. She scrubs and paints well. The guy that's at the entrance of the doorway, he did my nails in the picture and it was exactly what I wanted. Where to even begin with this place? What do you value in trip to get yo nails did? The entire experience or the way your nails look once you leave the place? Cool - cause you get neither. For starters I saw on yelp that this place has two locations, so I figured business must be good so they opened a second store. NOPE, the owner never has claimed the business on yelp, so even tho the address is wrong - it's actually 215(I think) commerce place,- they still listed say 1213 Grand Street, which to my chagrin was a hot dog store. I walked in and two women started taking in another language about what I think was who's turn it was to take the next customer (me), or at least I think that's what it was. Finally I sat down with one of them and she brought me the color samples and started to remove the previous gel polish on my nails with the power file. While she was doing that I asked her if I could do a matte coat on the color I wanted, this ensued a 9 minute convo about what "matte" was, finally the owner came over and said they did have matte top coats, but it would be at extra $5! The fuck?!!! I've never been charged extra for matte anywhere else, maybe for French tips, or some simple design, but for a top coat? But she had already started and I just agreed. She then did my nails; the tools she used were not sterilized, she just sprayed some alcohol in them before she began using them,I had to google nail shapes to explain to her that I wanted square nails with rounded edges, they then didn't have the color I had chosen and then I had to wash my hands, but there was three other people at the outside sink so I used the bathroom sink, of which I've attached a picture of for your viewing pleasure. Judge for yourself. Finally I walked out 67 mins later, I can tell you that because I got to my parking meter 7mins after if had expired, with not precisely straight nails that were definitely not matte. I'm sure that there are other places that also charge only $20 for gel nails that could offer you a slightly better experience and end result. read more

Was able to walk in on Friday for a gel manicure. The tools are not sterilized, the manicure was not done carefully and the polish does not cover the entire nail. I had to ask the technician to fill in the edges of my nail but I'm still not satisfied with how the edges look. My nails look ok for $20 but I won't be back. read more

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!! My Daughter just left this salon. The owner swiped her debit card and said that the transaction did not go through. My daughter had more than enough money in the account to cover the $31.00 fee. She called the bank while she was in the salon and the bank rep confirmed with the owner that the transaction indeed went through. The owner then said that he did not speak English. The wouldn't let my daughter leave and then tried to confiscate her cell phone. .She called me and when I threatened to call immigration. They had nothing else to say. I told my daughter to stop patronizing these crappy little shop and spend the extra money in a better neighborhood. I wouldn't be caught dead in this S@#$$^&& HOLE!!!!! read more

I only came here because my regular place was closed. I waited about a half hour for the person in front of me to finish who wasn't wearing a mask by the way. They didn't disinfect the seat when the person was done either. When I finally was seated it was w an older women who didn't talk to me at all. She just kept saying things to her co workers in a different language. I needed a fill in and it took over an hour. It came out HORRIBLE. I was charge $55 for a fill in! I will never go back here again. Horrible horrible horrible service prices and nails. read more

Other than the technician at station 8, having a loud conversation on his phone...with the caller on speaker, the atmosphere this morning is fine. I like that this nail salon doesn't have the harsh smell of acrylic suffocating you. Maria is perfect! Quiet pleasant professional. Her conversation was very appropriate. Not so at the other stations. Prices are affordable and with the personalities and service it's hard not to leave a gracious tip. read more

I was VERY happy with my service. I came in for a mani/pedi combo and got exactly that. The gel mani is still holding up quite well and the technician was very patient with me when I kept changing colors (it's a life decision). I know she was tired (tiny, little thing; She was preggo) but she still smiled and remained patient. I say again, the service was awesome! However... the amount of ghetto that was in the shop... smh. Kids running around- they did have a sign for the patrons to control their children but reading is fundamental to those that use it. Then, the woman that was there wasn't even there for servicing. She was there for her friends. When she blurted out that she was broke and not used to being broke. She should go back to selling p!$$y, loud as all get out... I was floored. My patience cant' take too much debauchery. Well, not in public. So, be prepared. You get great service but the staff can't help the type of clientele that comes in unfortunately. Ladies, we just have to do better and want more for ourselves. People need to be mindful of others around them. Smh... Oh, I believe you have to pay for parking. It's not much. Just street parking- I think I paid like 75 cents for an hour and a half. That was more than enough time. read more

I gave a 4 instead of 5 because it is a really long wait and you have to pay for parking. My mom and I were at a Spanish food place and my mom loved a woman's nails. She had got them done here. They were pointed nails and it was basically a french manicure but instead of white on the top, there was a different color on each nail. On the bottom of the nail, there was a big rhinestone, in the middle a medium, and on the top a small. My mom was upset at the place( it was her very first time there) but she loved the result. She was upset because it was taking long so she left the nail salon and we went to get creamy Italian ice from an Italian ice cart. She missed her turn and when she came back, she had to wait for like 3-4 hours. My mom was mad because she lied and said she didn't leave and was paying for parking but she still had to wait her turn. The second time we went though we did not have to wait long.
