I came here on a random Monday for a manicure, nothing special, not gel, not powder, just a manicure. This has got to be the absolute worse manicure in the history of nail salons. The experience started with flies flying around the chair I was sitting in-(all the other chairs as well so I guess flies are just the norm). In addition there was zero sanitation of any of the mail tools, her tools were sitting in a plastic caddy with no sanitizer nothing. This was disturbing then I realized she don't have any cotton to remove the existing polish I had, she tried to use the grinding machine to which I objected as I had regular polish not gel (the main reason why I stopped using gel is to grow and strengthen my nails by eliminating grinding) to make matters worse My "tech" had no clue how to polish nails, she basically plopped polish on my fingers almost like you do acrylic and then tried to "smooth" the polish out... after 3 or 4 nails were polished, I realized the polish was dry and clumpy. I asked her to find another bottle of the same color as the dry one and as just too clumpy. One as not available so I asked her to change the color to one that was not dry! That didn't go over well, and the tech was upset that I asked her to change the color even though she agreed the other color was dry and clumpy. She removed the color and just re polished my nails with no prep (no base coat nothing) within 5 hours the manicure was chipping and coming off. I am currently 3 days into my "manicure" and 9 out of 10 nails have chipped. I have never had a manicure bit last at least a few days, even when I do then myself with drug store polish. In addition, when I went to pay, I was told they do not accept credit cards only cash or debit (even though their front door clearly has the Visa/Mastercard and Amex signs on it and there was absolutely no mention of this anywhere in the shop .For all the reasons above as well as the lack of care shown, I can not in good faith recommend this place. I would much rather pay a bit more for service and an actual manicure. read more

I walked in with my long nails and just wanted to get a gel manicure and fix a broken nails. They filed all my nails away and offered to do sns to make them stronger. She did 3 layers of SNS and kept filing them. Then did 4 layers of gel and kept filling them. She not only got rid of my nails I have been trying to grow for my wedding but made me look like I have clubbed nailed (a genetic disease) and ripped my skin all over . Never again! I would tell her to stop and kept going up to the point I just pulled my hands away and said enough. This what you get for $90 read more

So, I'll preface this by saying I've been coming here for years. I used to always have May do my nails, she was usually good at it. I glazed over it in the past, but this time they took it too far. I was here a couple weeks back, with my sister, and May got a piece of fuzz or black hair in my nail. I made her fix it, she had to do it a few times. I came in today for another fill-in, I got pink acrylic with gel polish over my tips. I had to wait, but that's expected. She sends me over to a tech named Angelina, who unfortunately isn't very experienced or is just not doing a good job today. Whoever worked the station before her decided to leave someone else's nail clipping in the acrylic powder, and I see her take it out. That's not her fault, but it isn't sanitary either. She doesn't ask me about what shape I want, or if I want them cut down. I get that there is a language barrier, so I speak to her in Spanish. I notice that she's applying way too much acrylic and it looks very chunky. I ask her if she's going to file it down, she says yes. She asks for the design, I show it to her. She proceeds to try her best, but I end up with nails that are all different sizes, along with sloppy ends and designs. I show May and she says have her file it down. She attempts to fix it, but the nails are still way too thick. I go to pay, because at this point I'm just frustrated. May says " now that you said something, they don't want to get their nails done by her because they think she does bad work" in front of all the other waiting patrons. I'm so embarrassed by this, because that was not my intention, and the irritation should have been directed at the nail tech, not me. I never raised my voice, or was rude in any way, even though I've clearly given them multiple chances to fix things. I try to explain that was not my intent, and she said " oh I know I told them you're like this with all of us (the nail techs) you're special". These are her words, not mine. So instead of trying to remedy the situation, the owner embarrasses me and tries to save face for her business. So because I would like to have my nails done nicely, I guess that makes me a problematic client in her eyes. I have seen people get upset with her, I never acted like some entitled brat. Therefore, I am so upset that she did this, and I will not be going back nor will I be recommending anyone to go there. I am so disappointed, I loved it here but I will not be treated like that ever again. read more

Don't go !! Like just don't go .. the owner claims she doesn't take appointments , so I got to the shop a little before 10am. There was one lady in the chair and 2 ahead of me. She said 1 hour wait but I knew it was going to be longer and decided to wait . Once the last lady that was in front of me was complete she took a white lady who was only seated for a few minutes and it was supposed to be my turn , so of course I'm upset after waiting TWO HOURS . She's like oh I only have to do a fill in real quick . I'm like wtf but I'm like ok whatever . Then she proceeds to take off this lady's whole set and do a full set , so I am livid at this point . Like how dare you ? Then you lie to my face so I'm venting to my friend on the phone and the white lady turns around and says Listen , I had an appointment . Like girl who are you speaking to ? And how could you have an appointment for the owner who claims she doesn't take appointments ? DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE !! They are unprofessional and liars . She tried to get her sister in law to " prep " my nails for her and she was rude too so I just left . They don't deserve business . I miss Young's wife !! read more
