Omg.. I found my nail tech for life! I have weird nail beds, so it's hard to shape my nails, but Diana NAILed it! (Pun intended) Diana took time to make sure that my nails looked perfect. Ask for her on your visit!
Came in for first time appt, everyone was very nice but the quality of work was one of my worst experiences. First when I came in I showed the picture and asked if they could do it, because I understand some of these photos are difficult to do, they said definitely they could do that. The first lady painted all my nails full white gel and a senior tech walked by and had to take over. They had to remove the gel that was cured on, which I was also patient about but a little annoyed. Then the new tech did my nails and they came out horrible, nothing like the picture, the sweater nail came out good but all nails thick, ombré was done like a child did it, could've done a better job myself. In addition during the manicure the tools were not taken out of sanitary jar or package. Cuticles were pushed back and cut while my nails were dry, never were my nails soaked to soften. It was painful and my cuticles are cut on 3 nails and bleeding. I am an extremely patient and understanding person but this was one of the worst mail experiences I've ever had. Paid $50. Would never go back or recommend, plenty of better salons in the area.
Went back here despite my better judgment. I had gotten an infection from this place 6 months ago, but thought maybe it was a freak incident and decided to give them a second chance. Nope. Nail got infected again. Don't go here.
First time here and had a 8:30 appt so naturally I came at 8:25 and the place was closed. Waited in the car for 15 min before they opened up so they opened up the store 10 min late which already rubbed me the wrong way . Their hours online said 9 so I thought maybe they made a mistake when I called but the lady apologized and said we open at 8:30. I stated to them my concerns for longevity with my nails bc I am a mom and work full time and was looking for them to last 3 weeks. I told them I wanted a gel manicure in NY that is enough for them to ask what type of gel manicure do you want UV or color gel. They assumed I wanted a standard color-gel and I walked out of there with more or less nail polish on my nails. I didn't have a third hour to sit and have her do them so I just had her finish them. Its safe to say they won't last two weeks never mind three but we shall see. Lucy does great but would be nice if they had a price list posted on a wall in the place so a customer can ask about the services available. The jelly pedi was pretty cool. However, chairs are a bit outdated. She had to unplug it while I was sitting in it bc the jets stopped working. Also, I had to hold the chair in place with my legs bc as she massaged my feet it squeaked and moved back and forth like I was on a carnival ride. That was a bit distracting when you pay $35 for a pedi. I'll give Lucy another shot bc I see people really like her so UV gel mani next time and we will see how long they last. ******update! Went back and saw Laura because Lucy wasn't there today but I got a whole new UV set for half price. Great customer service and my nails look awesome! I will be back
Made an appt for a mani/pedi on a Saturday morning....... they started 10 mins late, did my pedi first (which I hate. I like getting mani first so they dry while they're working on my toes, but they didn't listen). After my toes were done, waited another 15 minutes before they started my nails. I'm not really sure what the purpose of making an appt is at this point. Pedicure looks ok. Manicure is TERRIBLE. The nails were not filed properly (tiny bits of the file block got stuck under my nail) & tips look jagged. The lady gave my a dirty look whenever I asked her to fix something. When nails dried, there were dots/bubbles on them. Looks like I did my own nails. Maybe worse.
Worst ombré job! My nails are bumpy as well. The gel wasn't even completely dried either and she then blames me for it! The ombré was done w a sponge, it's awful!!!! And they charge $15 additional for ombré (I could do this on my own w a sponge as well)! AlSo, I asked her when she was filing if she was shaping now or later she said later, and didn't bother asking me what shape I wanted and started to do square then I stopped her and told her no I want round, she followed by saying oh you didn't tell me(seriously! Again blaming me when they are supposed to ask). Ridiculous and overpriced!!! Never coming back. Now I have to go elsewhere so they can fix this awful job!
I have absolutely no complaints. This place was marvelous. I came in with my toes looking so bad...its been a long time since I got a professional pedicure. The staff was so friendly and calm. It actually feels like a spa. The place is spotless and modern. There is ventilation so unlike most places I've been I don't smell and chemical fumes. The staff was polite and attentive and made sure I got what I was expecting. The whole experience was very relaxing. I came at about 6pm and was seen right away. My toes look soooo pretty now They take credit but don't have credit tips. I only had $2 cash on me and feel bad because she did an excellent job I will definitely be back next week for a manicure.
Ladies were very friendly and my gel mani is nice and even. Massage after mani was great and I almost fell asleep. Gel grands included Essie, opi, ibd, and gelish. What I'm really looking for is for the gel mani to stay and since it's only been a day I can't yet say whether it will chip. I will update this review to 5 stars if it lasts in about a week! Thanks ladies! ***Overdue Update: gel mani stayed 2.5-3 weeks.
I really did enjoy this salon the first couple times I went but yesterday I walked in right on time for my 11:00 appointment, I sat for 15 minutes until I was told that one of the employees had called out and did I want to come back because they were backed up? I said no and asked how long it would take, she said 20 minutes so I waited. 12:00 rolls around, a FULL HOUR PAST my appointment and they finally take me. They apologized but then proceeded to charge me full price. You'd think the least they could do was knock off a little bit or not charge me the full upcharge for a design on every nail after having to wait an hour past my appointment time. $65 is entirely too much to begin with, let alone to charge someone after they waited an hour past their appointment time, an appointment they had made days earlier.
I enjoyed this spot so much! I went during a week day and the lady that did my nails (mani) took her time and did an incredible Job! I would recommend this to everyone! I am going back soon!!!
Fantastic experience!! They were able to take me a little earlier then my appointment, very clean and attentive. Lucy saved my nails. After going to two other salons where they ruined my nails and caused them to break. Lucy was able do her magic and fix all my broken nails and was so nice to top it off. She is kind, polite and talented. All the ladies there and welcoming and professional. This is my new spot for sure for top notch service.
I had a good experience at this salon today, my gels came out great and there were a lot of good colors to choose from. My pedicure was relaxing and thorough. They do a scrub and a lotion massage which was very nice! I would recommend this place and I will come back.

Came for an acrylic fill and showed them a design but they put the wrong color on my nails and so couldn't do what I asked for. Took 2 hours for just fill and solid color gel, and I had to extend my parking twice because theres only a parking garage. Left with a brush hair in my polish. read more

I love this place! My nails are still perfect after 10 days, not one lift or chip. I had a gel manicure. I have also had a few pedicures here as well. All of my experiences have always been really good. I will continue to be a customer here for as long as I am in NJ! read more

My wife went there today and had a very good experience. The nail stylist took her time in doing her manicure. All of the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. It was $10 for the manicure and they offered her a massage as well for free. read more

Id probably categorize myself as a picky person when it comes to nails. I've been getting my nails done for about 15 years. Usually pink and white or acrylic. I always liked the crazy designs and I always paid attention to whether they lasted because my hands are in water frequently. I decided to get my nails taken off to breathe for a little since its been years since I've done so. Usually, whenever I've gotten a new set or had them taken off before, they'd pull them off or "rip" them off. I was rarely ever made to soak. I own a business in Garwood and I decided to go to this place because it had good reviews and it was close. I was BLOWN AWAY. Granted, they didn't do pink and white acrylics; but I wasn't there for that anyway so it didn't bother me. I was there to get my nails removed. Previously, I was always told that I wasn't able to get my nails painted after getting them removed because my nails would be too thin. The girl who did my Nike, Lucy, took her time, rolled each finger with a cotton swab and acetone in tin foil and went nail by nail (multiple times) to sand my old acrylic off. After which, she cut my nails down, filed them, and dremeled them. I figured if ask if it was possible to paint them. She said yes. I was a bit surprised because I figured she'd say no. But she did a gel manicure and I couldn't be happier with the result. They don't feel as thin and paper-like as I remember them feeling previously and with the gel, i feel like I helped strengthen them. They do an amazing job and I will definitely be visiting them every two weeks for a manicure to keep up with my natural nails. Lucy and Cranford Nails totally made my day and I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

This is by far one of my top favorite nail places!! The two owners are amazing and very friendly. They have seen me throughout my pregnancy and now that my baby is six months, if I go with him and if it's not busy, they even help me with my little one!! Very friendly place. Not to mention their professionalism. Whoa!! That's even better. They do an amazing job with nails and they're cleanliness is impeccable!! I am so lucky and happy to have found this place. I feel comfortable there and they do a great job. read more

Went on a Saturday around noon with my young cousin...didn't have an appointment so I knew there would be a wait. Understandable...they were very nice and greeted you at the door..like one of them walked up from their seat to say hello and greet you. I like that. Had to wait about 20 mins for my cousin to get started and then an additional 10 for me. I was a little impatient as time went on BUT the Tech who did my nails apologized profusely and said 2 additional techs who normally work on Saturdays could not come in. I really liked how she explained things to me instead of just assuming. Good job and very reasonable for basic manicure. Salon is very clean but a bit small. I live over 20 mins drive away but would consider going back, they are so good and nice! read more

I'm not one to get my nails done very often but these ladies have made me a regular. From the cleanliness to the attention to detail- they're great. The first time there I was getting an acrylic set and was almost done when she decided to take one nail off and restart because she didn't like how it came out... When typically other places would've just kept filing the nail down until they figured it out. They also went to put extra money on the meter for me which was very helpful. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend. read more
