I'm not sure how long this salon has been around, but they still have boxes and unwrapped stuff thrown about towards the back of the salon. The salon itself is huge, yet because the salon is in its infancy (I'm assuming) it feels very empty. When I say it feels like they just opened yesterday, I mean there's no towels (except paper towels or the hot towel they put on your hand afterward), nothing really sitting on any of the nail tables (buffers, acrylic powder, etc), nor a legitimate paper towel dispenser where they ask you to wash your hands before they begin painting your nails (they've been pulling the paper towels and placing them in a diner basket). I'm not fussy so these things don't bother me as it doesn't speak to the quality of the manicure (more on that in a second), however, if that's something that would bother you and make you feel like the salon is untrustworthy (it shouldn't), then I advise to go somewhere else until they begin to get more stable. This fact was the only reason I took one star off. That being said, I think they did a great job on my gel manicure! The nail tech was very attentive, detail-oriented, and made sure I was happy with the color before proceeding to do the rest of my nails. I've never had a tech ask if I'd want a third coat but this tech DID and that made me SUPER happy - usually when I ask nail techs to do a third coat, they get offended, as if I'm saying they did a bad job -- NOT HERE! I didn't even need the third coat, just asking was enough. I would 100% come here again! read more

The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. They have more colors than any salon I have been to and I am originally from NY. They offer SNS (powder color) which I love. I can't speak for everyone that works in the salon, but Norma is amazing. She is the only one I use. She takes her time and pays attention to detail. She can do just about anything you want done. Lastly, as expensive as some places have gotten, Nubes Nail's still offers great pricing. Pedi and SNS manicure w/3 colors - $60. I've been going to this salon for a while now and it's been ok but nothing great. The last time I paid extra for a simple heart on my toes that took three people to do and still didn't get it right. But, yesterday went to get a pedicure and the woman was poking at my big toe for a while and even though I told her she was hurting me she kept on doing it. I pulled my foot away and she said sorry but was too busy talking to her friend next to her. When I tried to tell her which nail polish I wanted, she couldn't understand bc she only spoke Spanish. To make a long story short, I went home and maybe two hours later tried to walk and couldn't! Felt like there was a heart beat in my toe. My toe was so inflamed, sore and red. I got an infection from her poking the skin on my toe!! I had my bf check it out for me and he asked why my nail polish looked streaky. I didn't even notice but she only did two light coats of white and for anyone whose had white on, depending on the brand, sometimes you need three coats. I went back in today and explained what happened with my toe and asked if they could put some ointment on it specifically for nails and do an extra coat of white for me. They were all speaking in Spanish and the girl who did my nails said she never touched it. And a group of women gathered around me to speak in Spanish to say they don't see anything. Pretty much they didn't want to take the blame for hurting me. I told them to watch their camera playback bc on the walls it says "smile you're on camera". She (I think the manger or owner, an older Hispanic woman) didn't apologize for anything, just dismissed me. She added the extra coat for me but very sloppily and I had to ask for her to clean it up. She then put neosporin on it after poking and squeezing it while I sat there in pain. I must have asked her about six times not to touch my toe bc it was hurting so bad. I mean honestly I felt like I was asking a favor instead of getting the service I paid for!! There are lots of other nail salons in the area so never going here again. Customer service is terrible, the language barrier is not good either bc you can't communicate with them if you don't speak Spanish and they don't value their customers at all!! Update with picture. Love this new nail salon, this is my new spot! Great color choices and services. All of the girls are very nice and you cannot beat how clean they are. Tried this new nail salon and loved it. They have only been open a few months and I figured I would give them a try. Love the location, there is plenty of parking in the lot behind cvs and they have an entrance right from the lot which is convenient. The place is super clean and I love that they use liners in the pedicure tub and all the tools they use are sealed from the sanitizer. The girls were all very friendly. I had a spa pedicure which I highly recommend, I was ready to fall asleep from the massage. Will def be back. read more

The pink is what I first got and i didn't like it at ALL it looks horrible! As you can see. I said something with out trying to be mean and they said they would fix it. They tried again but it still wasn't coming out good. So I did my backup color which is the red one.... the girl was like rushing and didn't even let the gel dry properly! When she was cleaning it with the alcohol at the end you could see the red coming off on the paper! She even noticed herself. She folded the paper to try to cover it so I wouldn't notice so at this point I just wanted to gooooo. Like I had already been there for 3 hours! Waste of $55 the only thing that came out good were my feet. Never again read more

Someone needs to let this soon know that they need to DISINFECT high-touch areas. The temperature checker at the entrench is a "nice" safety gesture but if you're not actively cleaning the area that customers are touching, whats the point. I had an absolutely terrible experience -- the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. Perhaps it was just the nail tech or an off day, but I am scarred and will never come back here. I came in for a dip refill and was told they don't do fill ins, they remove the whole set and put on a new one. I wasn't thrilled about that, but apparently there are a few salons that just don't do fill ins, which I find very odd. I had just gotten a full set 3 weeks ago so there was no need for a complete removal, but one of my nails had broken and I needed a service so I agreed. The tech wrapped my nails in foil with an acetone soaked cotton ball on each nail -- super normal. After what felt like 10 minutes (I don't actually know how long it was, but it felt like a decent amount of time had passed) my fingers were tingling. I told the nail tech I thought it was time to take off the wraps. She uncovered one nail and said it wasn't ready. I told her I thought the acetone was starting to burn my skin, and she said no, it's fine. I flipped my finger over and there was a patch of skin starting to peel off. She looked at it and said no, it's fine, and put more acetone on each nail and rewrapped them. Honestly, I should have said no at that point but I didn't want to argue with her and I don't like confrontation. Another 5-10 minutes pass and now I'm really uncomfortable. My fingers feel dry and sore and cold and they are stinging. I tell her I am uncomfortable and want to take off the wraps. She takes them off and starts filing and I can see my nails are super damaged. I had been growing them out under the dip powder and every single nail cracked and broke. They were flaking and they felt thin and brittle. My skin was peeling and felt very sensitive. After she filed them down, I told her I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave. She looked at me like I had three heads. And note that she was a native Spanish speaker, and I speak Spanish, so there wasn't a language barrier. I asked her if I could just pay for the removal and not get the rest of the service. She called over the manager, I explained what happened, and the manager also looked at me like I had three heads. Now I'm on the verge of tears and just want to leave. I tell her to charge me for removal and I am leaving immediately. She seemed annoyed, told another employee to handle the register, and I paid and left. (It was $10 for removal). I was so disappointed and felt disrespected and ignored. read more

I fell for all of the positive reviews. That's why I tried this place. I got my nails done here 4 days ago, and they need to be done again already because one of my nails wasn't properly repaired. One person started working on my nails, let someone else do the nail repair and fill in, and then she came back to do the filing and polish them. It took over three hours to get a fill in, two nails repaired, and a pedicure and the place wasn't even crowded. One of the girls who works there was washing all of the instruments in the sink with hand soap and sealing them in pouches making it appear as though they were properly sterilized. I will never go back here, and I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

Very good and clean nail salon. I been trying to find a good nail salon up north and it's been hit for miss. I decided to try them out and it is Spanish owned. I got a fill my first time here. The lady was very attentive and very meticulous which I appreciate. They even have me a massage while I waitsd for my nails to dry. My pedicure was magnificent. They take their time and clean the feet and massage really good. A lot of times unless I say a spa pedicure other nail salons have me in and done in 15 mins. This place gives you a quality pedicure. Walked in and was told I did not need an appointment. Sat in the chair for a pedicure for 30 minutes before someone even started to work on me. She asked if I made an appointment by which the receptionist said no, she then stopped working on me MID JOB and proceeded to start on a new customer. Poor customer management. Wish I can give no stars. No social distancing. Rude as hell. This is the second time I returned to get it redone at this spot. The same day on Saturday I had 5 cracked nails and my fingers ALL the gel fell off. They said my nails are old and cheap when I returned that's why the Gel fell off. I NEVER had a problem or even seen gel coming off the same day. But yet the 1st time Saturday they charged me $70 to have them filled in and place GEL nail polish on and get my toes done. I didn't do anything besides wash dishes and take a shower once they were done. I went back on Tuesday on my day off to get them redone. I was disrespected while being there they thought I didn't know Spanish. I had 5 cracked nails they use cheap acrylic and cheap gel nail polish. They tried to make me pay again after I spoke to management over the phone and told me it was free. They said my nails was cheap and it was my fault it peeled off. I don't understand from Saturday the day I got the done -it cracked to Tuesday I returned with NO polish on it ALL peeled off how does Gel just come off??? I was shocked I've been getting my nails done in NY and NJ for a while now and this is the first time it has fallen off in the same day of getting them done. I thought it would of been a fun and cute experience to have a girls day with my mother but turned out to be a nightmare read more

I was under the impression that when you open a business like this you know what you are doing but In my opinion they are all still in training so Rosa is right they are no where near being professionals! I followed the owner all the way from Brooklyn. This is hands down the best and cleanest salon you will find anywhere. They use liners in their pedicure station and all the tools are sterilized and only used on the one individual. Fantastic customer service and attention to detail.
