On my quest to find a nail salon that is comparable to those I'm accustomed to in NYC, I decided to this place a try. Upon entry it wasn't very busy on a Sunday morning (Should've been warning #1). A lady named Lynne proceeded to do my toe nails. Everything started off fine. The water began to get extremely hot. I told the lady and she said, "Its not hot, it's because outside is so cold, and your feet are still cold". I thought to myself, no actually it's hot and I'm about to get burned. I wanted dark blue nails and she pushed for me to get a silver polish on my big toe. I already knew I wanted blue and red for my college reunion colors. She said "I know best, this looks better" and proceeded to paint my toe silver. I told her that's not what I want and she changed it to what I asked for after 5mins or debating. Eyebrows: Not very clean, I had to go back and have her clean them up. Gel manicure: She insisted on me getting tips. I told her no because I work in an OR and not allowed to have them. I simply want a gel mani as I've done for the last 8yrs. She said I needed a hard gel coat first, something I've never heard of or had done and she takes it upon herself to do it. End result.l, my nails looked like a 5 year old did them during a play day at a tea party. The bill ended up being $62, I was stunned. All these added services she took upon herself to do were all at additional cost. I was livid! I've never even paid those prices in the city (Bronx, Queens, Or Brooklyn) for a mani, pedi and eyebrow. Been here once before and had good customer service and loved my pedi. Interesting rate of service today...no greeting as I walked in or direction...walked to the back where pedi's are done because I knew this and took a seat against the wall... about 10 min later someone finally asks if I'd like my nails done(I'm still calm and pleasant as I say I'd like a pedi). I drove 20 mins to come here for nails & the beginning of this experience started making me reevaluate. My end conclusion is I will not give them another chance (my toes looks horrible, I had to remove my nail polish), pay the $20 for that crap of a pedi. Not only was I not ecstatic with the level of customer service, but more importantly the actual service of putting nail polish on toes was EMBARRASSING! See pics read more

DON'T COME HERE! I decided to pop in for a last minute pedicure and found this place with fairly decent reviews, but once I walked in.. YIKES!!! BEWARE: You will most likely leave with an infection, fungus or something else.. they reuse ALL of the same tools for the manicure and pedicure. NO sanitizing was done at all. The buffing block was all beaten up and old and clearly had been used MANY times prior to my appointment. My friend also got acrylic done here and after we tried removing them after a week elsewhere they told us that what was used on her nails was MMA. Which is ILLEGAL and dangerous. First and last time I come here. It's cheap because it's disgusting and bad quality. Save your money and time, go get your dogs done elsewhere. These hoes handing out infections. Now I have to go to the doctor for my toe because they cut me so bad. read more

Came here for a quick full set, the staff was very very nice and sweet but.. I was very disappointed at my nails. Terrible shaping. The poor guy looked like he didn't know what he was doing. My nails came out too lumpy, chipped in a few small places and, they applied gel polish (terribly applied) without me asking for it and charged me $40 for this shitty nail job. Never returning again. Wished the performance was as good as their customer service. Visit at your own risk. Not worth the money. I have never received a worse set of nails. read more

My nails came out ok came out crooked ,for an acrylic fill and shape regular polish she charged $20. The ISSUE IS the owner took that drill and cut my fingers so bad split two of my cuticles completely. My flesh is exposed,she kept telling me to put my acrylic under the UV lamp to "cure" but any Professional knows you do not "cure " acrylic ..you cure gel polish! She did that so she can stop and go smoke a cigarette outside, she then came back and touched my hands with her cigarette scented hands. She kept answering the phone,checking out clients , talking to others and not paying attention I was so annoyed. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE. It's dirty and they don't know what they're doing...it seems like there's only one girl that does and the rest are males and they're awful and rude. I got a gel manicure and they were the only place open on a Sunday and I regret it. He asked me if I wanted my nails cut and I said yes but I didn't think he would chop off all my nails! He didn't even ask me if the length was okay. He used ice cold water to soak my hands, wouldn't retouch a nail I smudged by a mistake because their place is filled with mosquitos and I was getting bitten alive, and he rushed and did a sloppy job. I really liked the owner, i think her name was Enna or Anna. I had gel manicures done a few times and after they scraped the gel polish off instead of letting them soak long enough, they ruined my nails. I had long and very strong nails and they became weak and brittle. I have not gone back since. I am letting my nails grow again and now looking for a salon that takes gel polish off the right way. read more

Just walked out of this place. I've been waiting for 45 minutes and haven't been updated with a time that someone was going to help me. I walked in and was said to sit and someone would be with me shortly. The employee was on the phone the whole entire time while helping someone else and I can tell that the customer was quite annoyed but she was getting her nails done and didn't want to cause a scene. I would give 0 stars but you have to give something so 1 it is. This is the worst nail salon that I have ever set foot in. I decided to go treat myself to a mani, pedi on my birthday as I was 9 months pregnant! When I walked in, there were 3 people sitting around and the person they assigned me to I found out later was new and had never done nails before! She took ONE HOUR to do just my pedi and even that wasn't done right. I kept telling her I didn't want the square file to be so sharp and she completely ignored me. I repeated my request at least 4 times but nothing! Eventually I got so frustrated and angry that I raised my voice. The owner came over and made light of the entire situation and laughed about it. Then another woman did my mani and she actually knew what she was doing, but I don't think she did the entire process (exfoliation etc). When I was done I yelled at the owner and said that this visit was ridiculous. He again laughed and said ok just pay $15! I was so mad, I slammed $10 down on the counter and said he was lucky to even get that from me and I walked out. I will NEVER return and I strongly recommend people to go across the street to Nail Perfection. I can't believe I was treated to poorly and as a very visibly pregnant woman. Would give 0 stars. I use to go here all the time when I was younger but I recently found a new spot. My spot was booked so I tried to go here and I was the worst decision ever. I got sat with the male and all I needed was a filling and a cut down. He must've cut me 6 to 10 times before I said something then he looked up at me and said "oh sorry". I let it go then when he finished my nails look like they weren't even touched. I asked if he was going to fix him and he said that "they were done" I said "no". so I said they are and that I'm not paying for this they look horrible he continued to argue with me until the lady behind him said to come here and she fix them but it was still bad and I just want to leave. Would not go here again. Went here since is right around the corner from me and I was so disappointed. I wanted a gel overlay on my natural nails using the ibd gel and a pedicure. Walk in and was greeted and went to the back for the pedicure. The guy doing my pedicure rushed through it so fast I was done before the two woman who were on either side of me and they were there before I got there. He cut my nails crooked and when I asked for him to straighten them he was annoyed. Then the nails- I should've left after the pedicure. He proceeds to put crystal on my nails and gel nail polish on top. When I questioned the ibd he asked how I knew about it and I said online and he said no this is better and will last longer. No it didn't. The crystal was put on to mask the fact that they use cheap gel polish and it started peeling 6 days later. Charged me $35 when he said it was $25 and I caught him reusing the old acetone from a previous customer. He went in the back and put it back in the bottle AFTER it was used to soak a customers nails off. How gross- I will never go back. read more
