I've gotten a manicure here as well as a pedicure. I think that the cleanliness and attention to detail was a bit better on the manicure. My person was not wearing gloves when doing my pedicure and digging into tubs of masks/ scrubs with the same hands. I've noticed that other places have pre portioned sizes of the mask/ scrub to prevent such thing. If that's a deal breaker for you just keep that in mind. read more

I called in the morning and was able to be seen in the afternoon and once I arrived, I was welcomed and asked to look at the colors available. I like that they keep the door open--this minimizes the lingering chemical odors. They take care of your nails, they care about detail, and they are gentle. No uneven nails or sharp painful corners. This review is based on my girls experience here and I had the pleasure of watching it all go down. Once we arrived in here she was promptly asked about what services does she want to get performed. After settling that she was escorted to the nail station where her manicure took place. There was no wait which was good because I did not want to be in there for anymore time than I had to be. I'm a stickler for detail and from my seat I was able to see what was going on and the nail technician seemed to be attentive. At the end if the manicure in good old woman fashion the girl decided that she wanted to get her eyebrows done. It was no big deal and that service was added. I know nothing about pricing but I was told that the price is typical for the manicure but the price for the eyebrows was lower than most places. I suspect that this is due to a deal for bundling services. All in all she was happy and expects to be back. If she's happy I'm happy. Everyone wins. read more

We were able to get an appointment in a half hour, which was good considering that they just opened. They were very quick with our pedicures and did not offer different prices or services. I was happy with the pedicure but they didn't even put lotion on after. My manicure seemed to take a long time and I prefer it when they soak my nails while I'm getting my pedicure to remove the old polish. Overall, it was just ok. I called before stopping in for a mani pedi because I wasn't sure if walkins were accepted here. No worries come on in...They were very welcoming and the salon has a very tropical, relaxing vacation feel. Pedicure was phenomenal- they use hot stones so don't be afraid to speak up if it's too hot on your legs. I saw a woman getting her eyebrows done while I was in the tub, they looked great so if you like waxing I would say definitely try this place. My manicure was done neatly and promptly. Overall everything was very nice and I paid less than $30 on a weekend which was nice. My only suggestion is to update the salon a little bit to make it more appealing to new customers. I had a terrible experience at this salon. First of all Peter is very rude. He started working on me, he had done 2 fingers, just taking the gel off. Then he gets up leaves me at the table but never says a word to me. He begins working on 4 other people jumping from one person to the next. After waiting a good amount of time I asked him if he was ever coming back to me. He said something about 5 minutes & continued to work on these other people who came in after me. Again I waited & no one made any attempt to help me. I got up & left & no one said a word to me. Now I have been going to this salon a good year or so. I have never been treated with such disrespect. Went here for a pedicure last minute and grateful they were able to take me. The staff was nice but the over all experience was eh... the nail polish selection was minimal and when I asked for help to match a specific shade the man just said "whatever we have is there". I had to ask the lady to properly scrub my heel with the pumice stone because after 2 strokes and was getting ready to move on. Paint job wasn't horrible but def had nail polish left on the skin. Massage was just okay. Personally I like a little more muscle but For 22$ I guess u get what you pay for. Overall I wouldn't go again unless it was a last resort. read more

It was dirty in spots where you know they are not cleaning up at the end of the day. Also, who I believed to be the owner, while she was doing a pedicure, spent the entire time that I was there speaking to someone on speaker phone, using the phone at the manicure station I was at. Aghh! I needed a quick mani since I'm leaving for a wedding this weekend. This place was close to my other errands and recommended to me by someone who has been here a few times. I pull up and am taken right away. (Yay!) Sit down to soak my fingers AND the water is cold in the dish, in my experiences the water is usually warm to help soften the cuticles. The man begins to file my nails and makes a comment that they are short, sorry, but my extracurricular activities require me to have short(ish) nails. RUDE. He proceeds to push back then cut my cuticles, including CUTTING MY PINKY FINER no where near the cuticle. So now my finger has a nice chunk taken out of it and is constantly bleeding. I am shocked and say please don't cut my cuticles, he proceeds to cut. I repeat. Finally he stops. The finger is still bleeding this while time. I am not having a relaxing mani as hoped. I want to leave but stay since he has already started. How much worse can it get? I go wash my hands, and usually you are asked if you would like to pay now. He doesn't ask this and has me sit down as he begins to paint the nails. Usually you dry your nails in one of those dryer things but I had to hold mine by a fan. After a short amount of time he says I am good and he sprays them. I reach (carefully) to get my wallet and a nick occurs on my thumb (sad) but don't want to sit through this experience again just to redo it. Later while driving I also incur a smudge. Maybe repeat customers get better treatment but how will you create new repeat customers giving them the experience that I had!!?? read more

I came here because my usual nail place is not open on Sunday. Peter did my nails, he painted them very well, with clean lines. He did, however, seem like he was in a rush to get me the heck out of there. My issue here is that the polish chipped two days later... it was gel polish on crystal. The quality of the nail polish that they use is garbage. It continually kept coming off. I could literally peel it off it was that bad. My advice, get some Kiara Sky products! They use CC colors, which obviously is cheap as hell. It's a shame they don't want to invest in good products. They have a good nail tech, why not give him the best tools? I paid more than I would have at my regular salon and they use Perfect match and Kiara sky. Sorry, but I will never be returning. read more

Had such a great experience. This was my first time going in to get a pedicure and a full set of tips and it was better than in expected. The pedicure was great but what topped it off was the hot stone massage! I wasn't expecting that at all. As per the tips, peter was great. He listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. Came in for a gel manicure. Came out with a sloppy look after asking multiple times for my nails to be fixed properly.

I walked in and was immediately turned off by the soiled chairs in the reception area. When I went to the back (pedicure area) the chairs were old looking, there was paper towel littering the floor, the walls were filled with lint and dust and the pedicure tools looked worn and unsanitary. Needless to say after that I walked out in search of a new nail salon. Don't waste your time going there. The previous reviews on this place were very misleading! read more

Peter, the technician and owner, was not only attentive to my concerns and desires for my nails but extremely helpful all the while ensuring that I didn't spend more than necessary. It's refreshing where an owner cares for the customer and while money is ideal for all of us - was not a priority to him. I'm thankful that he instantaneously reassured me that my nails would last long until I would fill them in and now that has made me a new loyal customer. I have been to several nail salons in Linden where my money took precedence over quality work and great customer service - that was not the case with Jenni's Salon.
