I brought my daughter to this place for her First nail salon experience as my birthday gift to her for her 12th Birthday ($35 is reasonable so why not). The place looks nice and clean so I decided that I get pampered as well. The young Spanish lady who did the pedicure to my daughter was polite, gentle and did a great job. However, my pedicure experience was completely different and unpleasant. The Spanish lady seem annoyed and unhappy with her job! She kept breathing so deeply and was so unfocused. Instead of scrubbing the bottom of my foot, she scrubbed the side and skin came off (ouch). I felt discomfort and told her that I was hurt. She doesn't seem to care so I asked her to stop then I noticed it was bleeding. She was quick to say sorry but still didn't care. I asked if they have an antibiotic cream but she was clueless what I was saying so when the Asian senior lady nail technician passed by ...I asked again if they have some medication that I can apply to the injured part and she just said we don't have that and simply warned the Spanish lady worker "slow down" with a threatening voice. I tried to kept my composure and let it slip away as I felt bad for the Spanish Lady and the Asian lady gave me a paper towel anyway to stop the bleeding. I'm just relieved that this wasn't the lady who was with my daughter and all I just wanted was the entire experience to end! When it was time for my daughter to get her manicure, an Asian man (on the older side) asked me if I wanted her nails a bit long. I said her nails are long so just shape it a bit round. He said okay and he smiled so I thought he understood me. As soon as I was done with my pedicure, I was terrified to see that they attached those plastic nails on the tip of my 12 year old. He said he will trim but obviously he didn't understand what I said initially. Instead of being apologetic, he and the Asian lady (who gave me the paper towel for my bleeding skin) gave me an attitude and insisted she needed those because her nail were too short. I said she's a child and probably won't need those but I didn't want to make my daughter's birthday treat experience to be unpleasant so I kept my cool and stayed polite and let them finish what they've started and just asked to trim those nail tips. For my manicure part, it's the same Spanish lady who did the pedicure. But this time she was more attentive and somehow careful. I hope the workers at this place are well compensated so they can learn to love their work and show compassion towards their clients. I was billed and I paid $115 for manicure and pedicure for both of us. When I asked why did the $35 kids manicure and pedicure ended up being $65? Same Asian lady said because her nails were done differently and needed powdered nail polish because of the nail tips attachment, which I never asked to begin with. I still paid for $115 and actually gave tips to all who did our manicure and pedicure despite of our unpleasant service but would most likely not come back here anymore. I could tell that they were surprised receiving their tips! I may seem like an idiot for allowing such scenario to happen ( i didn't want to ruin my daughter's special day and it's not all about money even I felt they took advantage it) but I hope one day this place can provide better services especially to Union residents because the community deserves it. read more

I am giving it 3 stars because there were a few things that weren't amazing. I called and got a same day appointment which was great because I knew it was last minute. I only waited 20 min for my pedicure to start, which again I thought was ok. Pedicure was your standard pedicure but when I asked for a small callus to be taken care she said it was an extra $5 for that. The callus was super small on the side of my foot but I thought ok thats fine forget it I will live with it. The manicure: they don't let your hands soak in water. I didn't see them do this to anyone. When I asked the tech said she said because of COVID they are doing it less and I should have asked her. Which I guess is good to know. But still I mean isn't that a basic manicure? Then I also had to ask her to cut my cuticles which she reluctantly did. Ok so then she did 2 coats and told me I should choose a different nail color cause it won't last because the bottle is old. I wish she would have told me this earlier!! I told her she should have told me that earlier and she was very apologetic. So I choose another color that was close but not exactly what I wanted. Which again was fine. The price for all this was $53 which I think is affordable? I will be going again and hopefully be updating this review of how long my nails lasted. read more

The color selection was nice but the service was awful. I went to get my acrylics removed and then get a gel manicure, and the nail technician PEELED my acrylics off instead of soaking them or filing them off. Two of my nails were bled and all of them because torn and damaged. I could've done that at home but I went to the salon to have them properly removed. Yet they still charged me an extra $5 for removal services. Also my nails are now all uneven and different shapes, and the tech didn't even bother to fix it. My friend went with me to get a gel manicure and her nail tech did such a bad job and then just left, so then another nail tech had to try to fix it. My friend ended up fixing it herself in the car later. I will absolutely never go back here ever again. read more

I've been coming here since I moved to Union 3 1/2 years ago. I am mostly pleased with the service most especially with Maria. I also once in a while go for Shea Butter Pedicure because it is very relaxing after that soothing massage. Today my Shea Butter Pedicure experience was averaged. I came home with sticky legs that had to be washed. The girl who did it failed to do the following: 1. Ensure that my legs have been wiped thoroughly of the butter. 2. Applied lotion to moisturize. 3. Massage them before putting on polish. She said she's new and I had a lot of things on my mind during the service which I can only do on my me time, I just came to realize these when I got home. She gets a pass for now because she is new but next time, I'll pay attention. read more

This is the only place I am gonna come to get pedicures (not counting any online deals I buy for other places). They do an AWESOME job. First of all, as everyone mentioned, it is super clean. I didn't feel queasy about any of the tools used or uncomfortable about sanitation and hygiene. Good stuff. Secondly, the service is great. The owner is really nice and greets customers and makes sure things are good. The person doing my nails was nice, super thorough (more on that later), and did a great job. Both times I went I got a spa pedicure. Both times it was a great experience. There was a long massage, this shea butter treatment thing, hot stones, sea salts, the standard pedicure stuff, and neat and efficient application of polish. The really awesome thing was she did everything so well. She spent time on every step and just did an incredible job. While I was waiting for my nails to dry, she even gave me a shoulder massage. And after she massaged my legs, she also put lotion on my arms and massaged them even though I only got a pedicure and not manicure. Kind of wish they had a few more colors (or like at least more variety as they have a lot of similar shades but then very few of some shades). But seriously, I am pretty picky about my pedicures and I have no real complaints about this place. My spa pedicure was like $35 but worth every penny. I think the whole thing took 90 minutes or so. $35 for 90 minutes? Major bargain. Oh, there is parking in the back! read more

This was visit from 2012. I yelped nail salons that were still open yesterday (Saturday, around 4:30p) and Nail Flower was number one on the list. Super nice, not too busy, called ahead and I was able to walk in and get our pedis right away. Girls were nice. They spoke Spanish, so I was able to explain better what we needed. The usual Massage chairs. Nice place. It's man friendly. Another guy was there getting a mani. And another guy popped his head in who seemed like a blue-collar manly man and was happy to know it was open until 6:30p on Saturdays. Took about an hour and a half for us get pedi'd. I went here a few days ago for the first time and left very satisfied. It was everything I look for in a nail experience. Very warm greeting, clean (and taking proper Covid precautions) and QUICK. I read so many good reviews and was terribly surprised when this place didn't turn out how it is described in the reviews. The place is pretty spacious and clean however, it is seriously understaffed. Two people doing manicures REALLY! I made an appointment to get a manicure and still upon arrival I was made to wait about 45 minutes to get service. After I was finally being taken care of by the owner. She seemed overwhelmed by all the customers walking in I guess this place isn't usually busy, so she was not fully concentrated on getting my nails done. She got my hands all sticky with crazy glue and acrylic and who knows what else. The finished product looked OK but it wasn't meticulously perfect like other places I've been to. Within two days half the nails cracked (I had a pink/white manicure) Which I guess reflects in the bad quality of products being used in that place because it was so NOT worth $55...Needless to say, I won't be going back to that place. read more

So this review is only based on a manicure, which, based on the other reviews, I really should have just gotten a pedicure but I needed a mani. Anyway, she did a pretty good job but some of the usual steps I'm used to in a manicure were missing (the scrub and hand washing) but the woman did a good job. What really annoyed me, though, was that I picked this blue color by Essie and I guess there wasn't too much left bc she kept watering it down with alcohol and the manicure last about 3 days. Maybe I picked a popular color and next time not to do that but she just did it right in front of me, too. So the mani didn't last and the color was a little streaky. I hope they don't do that to all of their polishes to get them to last longer. I mean, for $8 it's still pretty good and I'll go back one more time to see but I was a little disappointed for my first time. read more

As everyone said, the facilities are very clean. It does not smell like nail polish or fake nails, AT ALL! I was taking a risk relying on two reviews. I went in with the goal of getting a basic pedicure but couldn't resist a manicure (both are only $26 and she said they had no special... Coming from new york, it sounded like a special to me! Lol) If your feet are in bad shape or need extra TLC, you may want to look into the special pedicures. The basic is great for regular maintenance. As mentioned, the basic isn't quite basic. It included amazing scrubs, great lotions, a brief leg message, hot stone, hot towel and the basics of a pedi. I didn't use the message chair because I was caught up in my book. Didn't remember until I was drying my nails :-( This is def an Essie salon :-( ... One of the reasons why I gave it four stars. While their OPI collection is limited, they have the holland 2012 collection! I've been dying to get my hands on "A Roll in the Hague" (I don't abide by seasonal color guidelines... Bright colors make me happy when it's cold out). I ventured outside of my comfort zone and chose an Essie color for my toes. Came out great! They also have the OPI gel/UV cured polishes. They said it costs $30. Depending on the colors they have, I may try it next time. They claim it doesn't mess up your natural nails, but I'm a skeptic. Will do more research. Another reason for four stars: The nail specialist nipped at my cuticle a bit. I didn't realize until I got home. It was only one finger though! Otherwise, she was very meticulous :-) I'll continue trying other spots in the area, but for now, this is my spot. So glad I've found a great spot in NJ. No more running to NY for the basics. Update: As of two years ago, I am a certified Essie lover! lol so ignore my woes about their limited OPI collection. I've seen the light. Still love this place, btw. read more

This place makes me happy, happy, happy. Not only are the people who work here sweet, but also they give the BEST pedis (cant say the same for their manis) in the area, like it's no joke. I hate getting my feet done anywhere else, but this place somehow has conquered my fear of bad pedis. The only thing that disappoints about this place is the lack of polish selection. So if you have a particular color you want on your toesies, you're probably best off bringing your own polish. read more

Not only I got a full hour great foot massage, the girl who did the nails also gave me a back rub during my wait for drying the nails. Awesome service. Will go back again. Best pedicure in town, with massage, hot towel, and hot stones included in basic pedicure... and the color lasts for a long time ! Visited before my late summer vacay. Spacious salon, friendly staff, super clean. Owner knows her regular clients well, which is very nice to see. I got a shea butter spa pedicure that was amazing! Scrub, oil massage, warm booties, hot stones = heaven for the tootsies. Only reason they get three stars was my full set. This is not the salon for acrylic sculpted ladies. I normally am a gel manicure maven, which gladly they have, but before vacationing I like to enhance my barely there nails with brightly colored tips. Well these were sadly popping off within two days, and before I hit any water. They use powder dip techniques, which are not the best for adhesion, obviously. Judging by the other customers' results they seemingly do great gel nails and basic manis. All in all, there will definitely be a Nail Flower spa mani and pedi in my future. read more

The place wasn't packed to be rushed; she must've dropped 3 things going so quick. The manicure is nice, but I didn't get the hot towel at the end on my hands or the hand massage. Not very pleased. Very clean place, nice staff.... I got the spa pedicure and the 2 things that impressed me the most was that I saw the tech next to me clean the foot tub with bleach once her client left. I usually skeeve those tubs but if I see you put bleach on it I'm not as OCD anymore. Next was the whole experience, awesome massage i even got a hand massage while I had on those warm booties. Pleasant surprise! Went here last Saturday.. Every other salon was packed with a long wait, this was empty so I was nervous. However, they were clean, a reg mani/pedi was only $26, and its been 6 days and my mani is still pretty good.. Slight chipping on edges, but pretty awesome for a week old mani! I will not recommend this place nor deserve one star. We called for an appointment and we were told to come. As soon as we arrived this lady approached us and asked if we have an appointment and we said yes, she started asking how many of us and what we wanted to have done , as soon as we said what we wanted she replied no! Were closing soon however, we have kids with us and was disappointed. We then, asked if the kids can have their nails done and she said ok with attitude. I've been to lots of nail salons and this is by far the cleanest spot. The standard pedicure includes the standard + a great leg massage, hot towel and hot stone. Well worth the $26 for the mani/pedi. Others charge $10 more and it's not as clean or good. read more
