My GF has had good experiences here before. This was the nail shop my GF originally wanted to go…read moreto, but they were closed, so we went to another one down the block. We had to come back here the following day to correct the damage that other nail shop did. I had a pedicure for fifteen bucks, while my GF went with the mani/pedi for twenty. They corrected the jacked up cuticles that L.A. Perfection Nails did the night before. They further cut down our nails since they were all crooked and jagged. Yes, both my GF and I had crooked and jagged nails on our hands and feet! Not that we keep them that way, the nail shop down the block just made them that way. It was a mess! I agree with Lele F.'s FTR, the customers that come in can be a bit picky or rude, but I can't say their gripes aren't justified. One female was in the process of taking off her shoe to start something, when my GF talked her out of it. That customer had a false eyelash in her eye and rudely demanded for someone to help her get it out. The staff rudely ignored her, as she continued to rudely yell. Another customer, who sat right next to me at the pedicure chairs, saw that the gentleman preparing to do her pedicure was putting on old rubber gloves. The gloves were obviously yellowed and used. She politely asked him to change his gloves. He got up and sat in an empty chair in the front of the shop, leaving this customer in the pedicure chair, feet soaked, un-serviced. The woman working on me asked if she wanted a female pedicurist. The customer kindly responded, "No, he's fine. He's great! I don't mean to me nick-picky, but I just wanted him to change his gloves." Knowing that some information could have been lost in translation, I (Hella Asian) repeated her request with hand gestures for further clarification. She was still just left there. Sweetly and kindly, this customer eventually dried off her feet, put on her shoes, and walked out. Not a bad experience for me, but it kind of bothered me to see it happen to her. She was not rude at all! Anyway, my GF and I both still had a good experience. They cleaned up the damage without causing any further damage or sensitivity, while making things smooth for the both of us. The paint job on my toes wasn't that great, but that part doesn't bother me since I don't really care for nail polish to begin with. The actual nails, the cuticles, and the feet were good...so I'm good.
