The Gel pedi lasted but it could have been better. No one speaks to you when you walk in you just have to do that awkward walk up to someone randomly and see if they respond. Atmosphere 3/5: not the prettiest salon, but they have a great selection of gel nail colors. About 4 shelving units full in an array of colors. Service 4/5: it was difficult to hear the man who answered the phone so I couldn't make an appointment, but the man who did my nails was pretty good. Not a very chatty salon. I had my manicure done in about 35 minutes. Nails 3/5: I was hoping for a specific white and red pattern on my nail, using nail tape to make sharp lines. I explained that and showed photos but instead they used a thin tip white brush which didn't give the same effect. They looked fine, just a little disappointed it wasn't what I asked for. It's about 5 days in and I have a little chipping but nothing serious, so they still look nice. Price 4/5: I was a little confused here. On the phone they said the manicure would be $25. The eyebrow wax was $7. But my total order was $35. I still tipped and didn't dispute the slight change in cost, so the total for gel manicure and eyebrow wax was $40 with tip. read more

I called this place to see if it was open. There was no answer. Since is was a short distance from the train station, I had no problem walking after work to see if they were open. They have a nice color selection. This isn't noticeable at first because the color you see when you first walk in are dark and dull. But if you look around (next to the nail station) you'll see the good stuff. Overall I won't be coming back to this place. I spent $30 on a mani-pedi. My manicure is sloppy and my pedicure is even worse. In my opinion not worth $30 despite $30 being an average price. read more

This was by far the worst experience of my life . The owners were extremely rude . Rough to the core with my split nails. They insulted me by over charging me then asking if my friend was going to cover my nails. I did not receive the same treatment as the other customers . Also it's soo dirty they don't use gloves , towels and the disinfectant of choice is professional rubbing alcohol (in red bottle) . The male owner with the comb over heavier set one do not use him . I was so pleased today, I stumbled into this place with my daughter. At first glance it appears dated. But the workers were so nice. We waited for about 20 min as a walk in on a Sunday morning, which to me is expected. but my nails are perfect. No bubbles, smooth and ready to go! I walked into two of the workers yelling asking what I needed done. I asked them to give me a minute but they continued to rush me. I quickly picked a gel manicure. The women who did my nails was friendly but ruff. She also sat in the pedicure chair with her shoes on in between my gel soaking off... on her laptop. She was extremely ruff with my nails and proceeded to eat in between doing my nails. The tools by the pedicure station could be found in someone's old kitchen. Old sponges and scraping tools plus solutions in unmarked old looking bottles. The manicure stations looked much better but weren't up to my standards. My hands turn out okay. I probably could a manicure and pedicure at home than go to these people. I spent 35 for french tip pedicure and a regular manicure together. The staff are not at all courteous and keep jibber jabbering with each other in their own language. The lady who did my pedicure almost filed off my whole toe tails at one point and I had to interrupt her talk and ask her to concentrate for which she had a slumped look and possibly even scolding me loud in her language with her colleague who was attending the next customer. They don't scrub nor do they try to remove my dead skin and when I ask they are rude or they say 'no'. They are not clean or sanitized either. Go elsewhere or do it at home than going to these people. Very poor service. I wish there were negative stars. read more

I recently moved to the area and was excited to have a nail salon within walking distance. I am a former nail biter, and get manicures weekly now to prevent the habit from returning. I have to say, my manicurist was very kind and polite. She was an older lady and took her time with the manicure. However, that is the only positive. The salon is quite dingy, and I don't think they sanitize their tools because I saw them use the same tools on 2 different clients when I was there, and there was tons of old looking stuff stacked in front of their sanitizer in the back. Also, the tools used in my manicure were taken from the drawer in the manicure table, and they were the only set in there. I got a French manicure, which was $15, plus a $4 tip because she WAS nice. My nails are a mess. The sides were trimmed, so they are super pointy and sharp at the edges. They are all different lengths, the French white line is very thin and doesn't cover my natural white line so it looks silly. No hand scrub, and definitely no little shoulder rub when drying like I am used to getting in the Morris Plains area. Sat under dryer for 3 cycles and nails still smudged when I signed my credit card slip. I really wanted to like this place, but I guess I'll keep looking. read more
