This was my first time here and it was easy to book an appointment for the same day and when I arrived my nail tech was ready to start my service. I decided to go with a dip powder manicure and I was pleased to see they have a wide variety of colors. Their dip powder manicures are $45 (average for the area) and take about an hour and a half for the service. I walked in to just get my gel polish removed and repainted with a design and they wanted to charge $50 that almost the cost of a refill. None of this was communicated to me when I called either. I know nails are expensive but that's beyond INSANE. I got them done the day before new set and acrylic for $75 with design. And before anyone says the I'm not happy with the design of the original and I got what I paid for, this was the first time something didn't pan out and I have an event so was on a time crunch to fix the design and my normal girl is on vacation. Booked an appointment via phone call, always recommend, this place is worth the guarantee. Sunny was amazing, she was super helpful. I originally booked for lavender/green tea pedi but was recommended to get more of the massage with Jasmine Pedi, it's 10$ more which brings pedi to 69$. The S.O. Had the same and was impressed. Pedi included cleaning, trimming, buffing, scrubbing/sanding, peeling, 20 min massaging, and polish. Don't forget that massage chair! LIFEEEEEE! I would recommend asking for a seasoned tech when booking an appointment. My green tea pedicure ($49) included a 20 minute massage which wasn't relaxing. So finally my mother and I decided on Winnie because they're open Sundays (the only day we had time). The salon has only been open for 9 months and it is SPECTACULAR. I got a dip manicure with tips with Alex and a regular pedicure with Alan. My mom got a French manicure and a lavender pedicure. Alex took such careful care with me and double checked that I liked everything (and didn't make me feel bad for wanting my tips so short)I will say that anything other than square or round nail shape costs an extra $5. We were both so happy with the results. My nails look so perfect and all the staff were so friendly. Altogether, for the two manicures and two pedicures, it was $198. Very nice nail salon with reasonable prices and a calming spa vibe. I got sns dipping powder. My tech Sunny was very good! I chose her when scheduling my appointment online based on fellow reviews on here. The quality seems good so far, but I am interested to see how long my nails last. For sns, this salon guarantees 2 weeks, but I am hoping it will be more like 3-4 weeks since it has been that way for me in the past at other salons. One thing I didn't love is the extra fees associated with a lot of services as well as the techs overtly pushing you to get services with higher prices. For example, the regular polish I got on my toes was $5 extra, and Sunny was the one who found this color to match what I had chosen for my hands. She claimed this polish was better quality... we will see how long it lasts before chipping. Another thing is $5 extra for almond and coffin shape. I have come across this practice at several salons in the central Jersey area, so I am guessing it is standard. It is disappointing because I have never had this experience at salons in other cities. I went to Mia B. After making 4 of my cuticles bleed because my technician was so rough, she tried to convince me to "not do polish" even though I had an event the next day... I asked her to please clean my nails up and wait a few minutes until they stopped bleeding so she could paint them. At this point I was furious. She waited a total of 30 seconds before rushing to get them done. The entire manicure took 15 minutes and was so painful. It looks like a 3rd grader did my manicure. The technician cut a bit of my skin while cleaning up the nails, and felt a little rushed near the end. Overall the experience was not my favorite, but not the worst either. This place one of the worst places I have been at. The workers are very nice but they work quality sucks. I was skeptical about coming here because I had here very mixed reviews but I decided to come anyways. I got a regular pedicure and after it was done my polish has a lot of air bubbles and was not smooth at all. I also got a SNS with dip powder and chrome but the outcome was extremely disappointing. My nail tech clipped off a chunk of my thumb and she glued the nail to my skin on another finger. My pinky was also insanely bumpy and had extra layers at the tip. All of my nails we not smooth at all the way they filed the nails made it have thick white stuff under it. I just returned from the salon and decided to write this review. The salon itself is up to date, beautifully designed and very clean. I have been to this salon three times and always had Chen attend to my nails. Whether it be a gel manicure or a dip manicure he is excellent. His attention to detail is amazing and he is confident in every movement. I left the salon today thinking that he is a magician. My nails turned out beautifully. Chen's pedicures are also excellent. I visited this salon for the first time last week , and I arrived about 10 minutes late due to getting lost. The young lady at the front desk was not welcoming. Actually, she was flat out rude--she didn't greet me, barely looked me in the eyes while speaking, and scolded me for not calling the salon to let them know that I'd be running a few minutes late (even though I apologized and the salon was near empty). I was then rushed and pressured to choose a nail polish color. My manicure was awkward and not relaxing. I was also left with several small cuts around my fingers. After being there for 30 minutes, I was over it. I waved my hands under the dryer for about 5 minutes and then went to the counter to pay. Again, the lady at the front was very dry and unpleasant. She only yelled out the price of the service ,handed me my change, and took the tip. No "thanks for coming" , "have a nice day", or offering me one of their rewards/business cards. I get it, you don't want me to come back. Overall, I would never return to this salon--I felt extremely uncomfortable during my appointment . Some of the staff is very nice but my nails are streaky and chipped. I went back a day after I got my manicure cause my nails chipped and they told me it's because it was regular polish. I have had a regular manicure before and my nails have lasted longer than 2 hours before chipping. I went to get them fixed and yet again less than a day later they are all chipped and streaky looking. They also charged me $8 to get my gels off on top of the manicure price. I have been here before and never been charged to get my gels off it's not even a price listed on their menu. The polish is not even painted on evenly you can see my actually nail under parts where it was painted on thin. Also they were acting like they were doing me a favor by fixing them when I have been to their salon multiple times and always tip generously. They have a sign posted that says if you are not satisfied within in 48 hours of your service they will fix it. So I don't understand the attitude on fixing my poorly painted nails.
