My nail tech, Amanda, is amazing. I've gone to her almost every other week and she does a great job every single time. She's quick, clean, and does amazing designs. The salon use to have a promo during the weekdays for 10% off but it recently changed to $5. I don't feel it's right I should have to ask for the promo to be applied but the last few times I went they did not provide the discount advertised and also charge an extra $4 fee to pay with card. I really love my nail tech but between the misleading promo and extra fees, I'll start checking out other salons in the area read more

Normally I come here a leave feeling beautiful. Parking is the lot next door Sunday is free or street. I generally spend almost 200 every time I come here. This last time I had them remove my set and give me a new one. My nails are all different sizes and shapes. My toenails look odd. I was just not very happy with my last experience. I had Leo last week, I asked that he soak off my previous gel pedicure bc I didn't want the drills, my nails have been ruined by the new use of drills over the years. he was visibly annoyed when I asked, but I was firm and polite asking to please not use the drills. shortly after he was filing one of my toes and suddenly I felt him HIT my foot and yell "RELAX!" I was so shocked I just sat there with my mouth open, I should have said something but was shaking internally I was so upset. I won't be going back, and advise you ask to not have Leo if you go. J & M nails is so much better, they never use drills and the women are so kind and gentle. it was my mistake trying to give this salon another try after previous not great services ( techs are visibly annoyed and do a not great job unless you do a spa pedicure add on or massage, I've had two women there roll their eyes and become rough when I've stated I don't have time for a spa service or massage) read more

Leo was great! He was patient and helped me find the right color and was very precise, my nails look perfect! At times we didn't understand each other so he used his phone to translate. I had an appointment for 10:45 and was taken in at 10:37 when I arrived. CiCi was ready and down to business. I was in and out in about 25 minutes for a gel manicure with takeoff of my old polish and a design on 2 nails. That was record time. First I went there and the man who was doing it kept on telling me stuff I didn't understand and if I asked if I have to pay for it or is it free and he just laughed and mumbled something and also just gave me a weird look the whole time. He had someone talk to me because he didn't understand me and also ruined my nails with a crease and refused to do it again because it will cost double. Will never go there again. I opted for a callus removal and got severe chemical burns. They wrapped the callus removal around my legs with a bag, and I'm pretty sure it's only supposed to be used directly on the calluses themselves. I've received this service many times from this nail salon as well as other salons and never had an issue before. I can forgive the mistake and had every intention of returning next time I needed my nails done, but the way the salon handled this situation put me off from ever going back. It's clear they do not care about their customers. They gave me a refund, yes. But they forced another service on me and then nickel and dimed me about the refund when that service didn't work and I demanded my money back. I told them I went to the doctor and had to get a prescription. They did not pay for the visit or medication, or the cost of the bandages, gauze and tape I needed to buy. They ignored my email about this. Please go somewhere else. It was like fighting tooth and nail to get $5 back from them, even after they burned me and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and work with them before writing a review. They're greedy and customers take a back seat to their money. The 1st, 5th and 8th pictures (uploaded out of order) are nearly 2 months after my visit when I was burned. Still not healed. read more

I've been looking for a new nail home since moving back from California and I think I've found the perfect spot! Nails spa & beyond is located right in the heart of Westfield and walkable from the train station. The shop is very large, beautiful and clean!! I was able to call in and schedule an appointment within the hour, their front desk person was very friendly and knowledgeable. I decided on their dip powder service on my natural nails and let me tell you they had TONS of colors!!! I loved it so much. My experience in the past is that salons will only have a handful of dip powder colors but not here. It also looks like they have a ton of gel and regular colors as well (check out my photo). Lina did my nails and was very detail oriented and accommodating when I couldn't decide on what color I wanted lol. I'm interested to see how long my nails last because I feel like she did such a great job. While I was heading out I noticed they have promos during the week AND they offer free juice/water/coffee during your visit. The customer service is A1 and I'm excited to bring my whole family here. I got a gel manicure here for the first time because many other salons were closed on a Sunday. The space is beautiful but unfortunately the quality of my gel manicure was the worst I've ever experienced. The man who did my nails was friendly and helped me pick a color since I had to get my nails done for a photoshoot. But he filed them down very circular without even asking what shape I wanted. They turned out okay but noticed an air bubble the next day and by day 3 they were completely peeling off. I went back to have them fixed and the front desk person pointed me to the massive wall of colors and told me to just find my gel color again but that seemed like a needle in a haystack so I asked the person fixing my nails to assist me since they can color match much easier knowing what they have. My gel manicure only lasted a couple more days before chipping and peeling again. A week later and my nails were able to be completely peeled off in one shot in the shower with no pain, it felt more like a regular nail polish not gel which you need acetone to remove. I'm pretty disappointed because it seemed like a good place. read more

All of our technicians were nice, detailed oriented and professional with their services. My technician was Ling and she really shaped up my nails and cuticles (really needed it after a long hiatus from a nail salon). Don't choose Ada for your pedicure. She was clearly rushing through the entire process. She did a good job on 1 foot and rushed the second one so much so that she slapped on the exfoliant without even rubbing it at all and washed it off immediately after. When she was pushing back the cuticles it was painful because she was once again rushing. At the end I went home with pieces of my dead skin from the callus removal all over my calves and feet. ***WARNING: They charge a ridiculous merchant fee for using a card which is illegal! You can actually call your bank/CC company and have them take that fee off. read more
