Halfway through, I stopped and thought, "Why am I fixing something I just paid to have done?" So I returned to the salon. When I walked in, the man at the front desk asked what was wrong. I calmly explained my concern. Without any argument, he refunded my money. At that point, I thought the situation had been resolved professionally. Instead, he then asked for my personal information, only to tell me that I was banned from the salon. I wasn't disrespectful, disruptive, or demanding. I simply returned because I was unhappy with the quality of the service I received. Being refunded and then immediately banned for bringing up a legitimate concern was confusing, unnecessary, and frankly insulting. The refund wasn't the issue. The way I was treated afterward was. Customer service isn't just about correcting mistakes--it's about how you treat customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that raising a valid concern can get you labeled as a problem instead of being treated with respect. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend a business that responds to reasonable customer feedback by banning the customer.

Despite attempts to be cordial, she remained stoic. During the pedicure, she pushed a book of nail colors at me to pick from and roughly pushed/pulled my feet from the water instead of instructing me to do so. When it came to the gel manicure (she remained rough), filing and sawing across the nail beds. This is not only uncomfortable but weakens nails. Even after stating my discomfort, she continued rather than use an e-file. I left miserable with sore nail beds. Since staying nearby, decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, it was another disappointing experience. My usual salon provides a strengthener and three coats of gel that lasts about a month; this gentleman used two coats, charged extra for the strengthener and asked that I return in two weeks. Once I returned home had to re-file nails; each one had a different shape and size. The pedi color was also darker than the mani due to not using the same number of coats. Wish I had met the nail techs other reviewers spoke of, because I wanted to like this salon. Hopefully my experience will help them make necessary improvements for others, but I definitely won't be returning.

The place is very clean and they even had the Food Network on both flat screens to entertain patrons - a definite plus! I sat down with one of their technicians, Diana, and was very pleased with the outcome. Diana was meticulous with the manicure and engaged in conversation. You could tell that she actually took pride in her work and wasn't trying to get you out so she could move on to the next client. I highly recommend her to anyone in the area.
