Happy first Monday of 2020 my fellow Adventurers! So it took me a very, very, very long time to pull the trigger and get my nails done, but I'm happy that I chose Nail Studio. I was recommended this place by quite a few of my friends who have gone here religiously. I was paired up with the father of the owner (I think), and he was great. He followed any requests (I had pinterest images) and other items I wanted. My nails came out exactly like the photos and I as very pleased. The only thing I may ask---do they usually incorporate a manicure into the full UV Gel set? I figured there would be some trimming of cuticles and such. However, with that being said I was very happy to watch the Friends playing on the TV and chatting with the other patrons. He was gentle and meticulous on doing my nails. I've been going here for a few months since I moved to the area and I'm SO HAPPY I found this place! I tried out so many crummy nail places in the area and when I finally found this one, I knew my search was over. The techs are all so talented and they always have the best movies on during my appointment. They are priced very fairly and the staff is very friendly. They have a text service that reminds you of your appointments and accept Venmo to pay which makes everything super easy. They also have a billion colors to choose from. Owner is very rude. Never going back to this place. They cancelled AND gave away my appointment hours before the time of my appointment. They said they called me in the morning to confirm my appointment and I didn't answer because I was at work! When i tried calling again all you get is a busy tone. When i finally got in touch with them which was around 12:30, they already gave away my appointment!! My appointment was in the afternoon! So ridiculous!! read more

Very nice and clean space. I called to make an appt. for same day. The guy on the phone was pleasant. Nail studio had a great setup for Covid with curtains separating pedicure chairs and a plexiglass shield between self and nail tech but was not so noticeable. I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. I keep my nails short for work but she managed to make them look super cute still. Both came out absolutely perfect. Everyone there was friendly and spoke to their clients. I'm very happy I gave this place a try. The only down side was the massage was light and no foot scrub but was still a nice time there. read more

By far the best nail salon in the area. I've gone to many different salons in the past looking for a place to become my "go to nail salon" and it's safe to say I've found that place! I'm been going here for a little over a year now and I'm currently a regular with Ida. She does an amazing job - just like everyone else who works there. She's so friendly and easy to talk to; she's a joy to sit with while getting my nails done. I do get gel manicures and they have a large selection of colors to pick from that I usually have a hard time picking what color to get next! They also offer high quality rhinestones and nail designs to pick from. Another important note is a sterilization of this place - definitely one of the cleanest nail salons around. A warm, welcoming, family oriented business that provides continuous great service to all their clients. I really don't see myself going anywhere anywhere else to get my nails done in this area. The first time I walked into Nails Studio was when I was a senior in high school. I got my nails done for prom, and they came out amazing. In fact, I've been going here for years and the outcome never changes: I always leave happy. Seriously, I recently graduated from college and this is STILL my go-to spot. That's how great it is. Besides the fact that I love the staff (they're really friendly, family orientated, and fun!), I'm also a hug fan of the decor. It's a really nice, clean, creative space. They have a T.V. to watch while you're getting pampered, and a bunch of cool quotes at the wall by the mirror. You can walk in...but I recommend calling to make an appointment. They've got lots of options, polish wise, and they're very accommodating. No matter what you get done, rest assured: it will be done well, and within a reasonable time span, and at a reasonable price! I definitely suggest coming here. I had the pleasure of having Anthony do my acrylic nail fill with a French rainbow tip style polish. I was beyond impressed with his work. He is extremely detail oriented and skilled. I must say, this is the happiest I've ever been with acrylic nails. The shape of each nail is literally perfect, and the detail on the tips is stunning. They are better than I'd even envisioned. The salon itself was clean, tidy and well laid out. The Polish selection is extensive yet efficient. The staff is welcoming and very easy to talk to. The waiting area is comfortable and the pedicure chairs are awesome. The prices are great. They don't take credit cards but there are multiple ATMs close by. I went to Nail Studio after a few years. I always loved their work and requested a specific person. When I arrived, I was directed to a different person and the person I requested was busy and already behind with other clients. I usually do my own nails and was looking forward to a relaxing moment, but i was actually more stressed than relaxed at this point. The technician cut my nails very short which i didn't want and wound up getting a full set of tips. They looked ok but I probably would not go back. read more

Updating my previous review, I've gone here a few times and while my nails have been solid for an entire month no chipping or lifting,I can't seem to go get them filled. Whenever I call it rings on end, the number is disconnected, or I get a fax machine tone. Their Instagram has their hours listed Mon-Fri 9:30am-7:30pm yet every time I've tried to go within those times, they're closed! Drove by just now (Nov 18th at 3pm) to see all the lights off and someone inside turning things off. It's unfortunate because they do a good job, just impossible to get a hold of. Can't even get through on the phone to make an appointment. Would love to keep going here, but too frustrating when I work two jobs and can't get in contact. read more

this place is okay, but DJ did not give me anything that i asked for. he seemed to be in a rush. he asked me how long i want my nails and i said kind of long, not too short. he said i'm gonna do them short and literally did the opposite of what i asked for. i also asked for a nude polish and he didn't even show me a selection, he whipped out a color and used it. luckily i love the color but personally i HATE short acrylics, so i'm reallt annoyed i just paid $50 for something i didn't ask for. other salons have done a much better job engaging with me to make sure i like the length of my nails. super disappointed bc i've heard good things about this place but i personally won't be returning. read more

This is one of the best nail salons I have been too but mind you they are pricey!! $35 for a regular gel manicure today I was charged $40 because I wanted glitter on the tips I had no idea this was $5 more since it took two minutes. So it ended up being almost $50 for a gel manicure. They are very clean and very nice I like that they are all young and easy to communicate with!! It's super close to my house and one of the best salons for designs and rhinestones. I guess you get what you pay for and in this case you are paying for a quality job! Absolutely love Nail Studio! It's suuuper clean, their chairs are new, everyone is friendly (& family oriented) and they do an amazing job! I've been going to Ida for the last year or so and she hasn't disappointed yet. She is very meticulous with her work and always leaves you feeling satisfied. She's doesn't just push around your cuticles, but also makes sure to trim them perfectly (I know some places will make you bleed, sore, etc). SO disappointed. I made an appointment here for a manicure and a pedicure for my engagement party. My manicure alone took 3 hours. It took so long that they cancelled my pedicure appointment and took someone else. I was punished because the manicurist working on me was not doing her job properly because I had to continuously ask her to fix the shape to match my other nails. Not only did I not get my pedicure but the simple design I asked for kept getting messed up so the lady had to redo it several times. All I wanted was my husbands initials on my ring finger. Just 2 letters. Someone else took over and even he didn't do a good job. I told him the gold design didn't match my other finger and he said it did. He just wanted me to get out of there because I was already there for 3 hours. They all knew it was for my engagement party and they told me my nails looked great. I was NOT happy with my nails so I asked to come back the next day to get them fixed and the guy was very irritated with me and said he's going to charge me a fix fee. I was shocked. I asked him why I would have to pay for that and asked if he'd post my nails on his Instagram page to see if he genuinely thought he did a good job and he said he has a customer and has to go. They let me walk out of the salon for my ENGAGEMENT party with nails like this. (The first picture with the yellow gold is how they did it) Luckily I got my nails fixed at a DIFFERENT salon and now I'm good to go for my engagement party. The second time, I asked for them to remove my gel manicure and the lady peeled/pried them off, instead of the typical acetone soak, which I'm pretty sure damages my nails! The lady also didn't cover the entire surface of my nails with polish. Frustrating considering I spent $20! While the employees are friendly enough, the owner doesn't have the same attitude. You need to know a name to drop or something. I've been here twice. Both times got the older women. She just doesn't get it. They don't have opi or essi so don't go in there with a specific color in mind, they probably don't have it. I asked for the same color I already had on my nails it was an off white color she picked out a clear pink. I just knew when I sat down I was not going to like it because last time I had her it was the same thing. I should have gotten up and left but my nail broke today and I have an important event tomorrow I needed them done and it was last minute. $35 she doesn't even give you a pat on the back. The file is crooked, I said ouch like 5 times because she was literallllly picking at my nail and not the gel polish. Trimming my skin not my cuticle. I just won't ever go back, I doubt third times a charm. I'm sure the other manicurists are excellent I see their posts on Instagram and know people who love it. I just never luck out. Oh and I'm pregnant and she literally grabbed my hand to look for a ring and said, " oh no!" Seriously!?? How rude! Some of the nail technicians are absolutely wonderful. But I was there a couple of days ago and had the worst experience ever. I sat down and an older women was doing my nails. And I had to keep telling her that the way she was filing my nails she was making them look crooked. After about the 5 th time I told her to please stop because she was making my nails look crooked. The owner very nastily came over. Asked the women to move, and was the rudest person I've ever come across. He sat down snatched my hand and very rudely told me that my nails weren't crooked that my hands were. And the way he went about things I had to get up and leave. I left this salon in tears. I sat there for almost 2 hours just to leave crying because my nails looked horrible and I was being treated like I was in the wrong. I've never been treated like that in my life. I have been coming to Nail Studio for the past four years. The staff is excellent and they value their customers very highly. The salon is ran by the family and they all work together. What I love about this place is that the staff takes their time and they do not rush you. Furthermore, sanitary wise it is very clean and organized. Overall, I had a terrible experience. I walked in since my usual salon was extremely busy. I was told to pick a color but they have old colors that are dried up and basically empty. So their options were extremely limited. The woman who did my nails was extremely bothered the whole time. Overall, she wasn't pleasant. At the end when it came time to pay is when I found out they were cash only. You would assume that in 2016 there would be signs everywhere but no, they only had one tiny sign near the register that the average person would never see. Luckily, I had cash. The manicure and pedicure were overpriced as well, $35 for both which were just basic services. By overpriced, we are talking about $5 here but still, it was way too expensive for a mediocre salon. I went to this salon on a last minute whim on a monday at 11:30 because I had heard they did good work. I called and made an appointment. When I called I asked if they accepted cards and if tip was allowed on the card or in cash. I was told yes and the tip had to be in cash. I wanted a simple fill-in with one color gel polish because I was having engagement photos done on wednesday. I asked my nail tech to take my pointed nails down to a coffin-type shape by filing the points straight across and right away she tried to sell me on the fact that I needed to take my whole set off and re-do them. After a little back and forth she finally did what I asked. I felt the entire time though as if she was annoyed with having to do my nails. As if not being a regular there meant you got sub-par treatment. After all was done and I went to pay ($35) she told me she didnt accept cards. I said how I had called earlier and asked about that and I overhear the other two techs saying back and forth "I know, I know, I heard what you said. Thats not what you told her. People are ridiculous" before they realized I could hear them and they switched to talking in their own language. She did eventually process my card despite saying she couldnt and I tipped her $8 in cash even though I felt really uncomfortable. After all this I was just happy to get out of there and have my nails done but to my absolute, horrific disappointment after I showered the very next morning my "gel" polish peeled completely off of about 5 nails!!! Either they used garbage products on me or they didnt use their products properly. I had to go elsewhere wednesday morning and pay again to have them re-done!! I would NEVER reccomend this place to anyone!!! There are so many other salons that will treat you better!!! read more

Nice clean place but NOT very friendly or honest!!! I called for an appointment for my daughter she wanted a gel manicure with very little designs on 2 nails. I asked what was the price for that they asked me her age and I said 11 years old, she said $30. She did an OK job nothing extravagant but a flower with a little bit of rhinestone on 2 nails went to pay and they charge me 40!! I consider that ripping people off on their way out!! And I explain to them that they told me 30 over the phone and it didn't matter!! I did get a allergic reaction to Acrylic, No fault of this Nail Salon, They help me remove my Acrylic nails, clean up my natural and have me on a Road to recovery to growing my real Nails. They suggested a cream to use every day.I'm almost ready to Get them done with a regular Manicure. Thank God they have the patience to help me, they are always kind and nice. This salon does excellent work, however the owners are not very personable, unless it's certain customers, which I feel is very unprofessional. Everyones money is the same and therefore every customer should be treated the same. It's extremely difficult to get an appointment, yet when you're there, you'll hear them on the phone or see them squeezing certain customers in same day. I was a very loyal customer for quite some time, even came there during a start of a snow storm one time, switched my appts around for them time to time, but still wasn't treated well. Although the work is excellent, because of this alone I'll be looking for a new salon that values my business. read more

I love getting my nails done here! They always come out amazing. I usually get a design and they always create it but better. Kim the owner runs the business with her husband and her family and friends. Its a very nice area. You have parking outside. I love taking pictures of the designs I get and getting so many complaints. She knows how to treat my nails and how to keep them looking always great. I haven't tried anyone else in the nail salon, but I know her brother and husband do a great job. I like how my pedicure comes out too but wish I can get a little more of a massage, but I understand how busy they are. If you trying to make an appointment there its very hard. Once you get your nails done, don't leave without making an appointment, they are always super busy. Rarely they take walk ins because everyone is always booked, maybe if you are lucky. They only take cash no credit card and if you need cash you have a bank right next door to withdrawal the money. Everyone is very friendly but very quiet at the same time. I do like the method of them just soaking off the polish instead of buffing it out. The prices are a bit up there for a gel mani and regular pedi, not to mention when you get a design you will pay 60 and up. They have some colors that I want sometimes but if you ask for a color they will match it with another brand polish :/ But overall I like this place just wish I can walk in and they accepted credit card. read more
