I went in for a gel polish manicure and what I experienced was absolutely unacceptable and downright dangerous. The tech was clearly untrained and careless. The tools used on me were NOT properly sanitized. They were pulled from a drawer, lightly sprayed with alcohol, and used immediately -- which is NOT proper disinfection by any professional standard. That is reckless and unsanitary. She aggressively cut my cuticles and sliced me MULTIPLE times, leaving my fingers red, raw, and painful. I now have several open cuts and may need bacitracin just to prevent infection -- all because of their negligence and lack of basic hygiene. This wasn't just a "bad manicure." This was unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable. Do not risk your health here. read more

WORST NAIL SERVICE I had gone to this nail salon yesterday because my sister said they were so great. I needed a manicure and pedicure for a gala I had for Friday. I usually get gel manicure and regular polish pedicure and I figured since it was Tuesday that there wouldn't be that many people. It was perfect it was empty and it was 4:15pm. I gave them 2 stars because the place was clean and the I did like the fact they had the same color gel and polish packs. Some nail salons don't have it. Also the message that was goVen for hands and feet were great. The lady who had given me the pedicure had done a great job with my feet but when it came down to putting the polish on my toes, she had done such a horrible job that when I got home I noticed that some parts wwere dark and other light. Note: I asked for a red color. When you put red you have to put aT lEast 3 coats to get a good color and you have to apply it evenly. It was horrible. That was the first pedicure I was so unhappy with. While I was gettting my feet done the owner did my manicure and it was by far the worst manicure prep I had ever recieved. I had natural nails and all I wanted was a nice manicure with gel polish. All she did was cut and file my nails, she didn't even cleaN the cuticles or anything all shee did was file. My manicure literally took 30 min when I hAve gone to other spots and they made me soak my fingers and they would Talk to you later the time to clean my cuticles and actually take the time to put the gel polish on. I wAs very unhappy. By far the worst service ever. It wasn't like they were busy either. I called for a 12:30pm pedicure appointment and they asked that I come in at 1pm. When I arrived, I found that there is no off street parking. However, when I walked in, I was taken right away. The establishment is clean, it's spacious and they're friendly. Their massage chairs are in working condition and they have a decent amount of Essie nail polish to choose from. My pedicure felt good. The sugar scrub is the best part! The attendant took her time to massage my feet. She was good at polishing my toenails too. I got a mini shoulder massage while drying my feet. I'm giving 2 stars because I had a great experience my first time here.. However, I just came back to get a fill and pedicure and it was HORRIBLE. The other asian lady (not Eunice) who did my fill and gel manicure kept sighing and staring at the clock every 5 minutes. She didn't say one word to me except to ask what size and shape i want. Eunice was the one who had to ask at the end what color I even wanted. She rushed putting the acrylic on and it was so lopsided and uneven, even when she buffed it out. My nails are different sizes and some are crooked and have ragged edges. The color isn't evenly applied on all my nails. The one nail they had to put a completely new set on looks deformed and not normal. This lady was absolutely horrible. I won't be coming back again. read more

I have gone to many nail salons within the Union County area and i must say that this has probably been one of the best gel mani's i've had. From my experience with other places within the first week I'd find the gel lifting in the corners to eventually chipping or coming off completely. I came to the salon before i went on vacation keeping in mind that all the water activities will probably have my mani looking a mess by the end of the week, but to my surprise, after spending an entire week at the beach and pool my mani surpassed all expectations and is still perfect after 3 weeks. I went to get a mother daughter (5) mani/pedi...and for whatever reason I was slighted. Long story short, only my daughter was serviced and I left pissed--I wanted my daughter to have gel nails and the woman said she didn't have time to do it...she rushed through my daughters nails to get to someone else... I absolutely loved this place !!! A friend recommended it to me a few years ago and I've been going there since . I've only had great things to say till recently. There pedicures used to be $20 and it went up to $25 after reopening since Covid as the cost of things have gone up and I completely didn't mind that at all !!!! But now at my last visit they asked for a dollar extra if I wanted a bag in the basin . I thought that was so cheap and cheesy as everyone always had a bag since they redid there salon and now its a extra . I think they should have just raised the price of the pedicure again then to nickel and dime in this fashion . It's cheap and tacky to me and I thought it was a class salon for years . Highly recommend. The only thing I was not fond of is the price. I get gel done all the time and I don't think I have ever paid $35. I usually pay between $25-30. However, I would say it was worth the price. I got in at 2pm and left by 2:30pm. But I did not feel like the nail technician rushed at all. I am extremely picky about my nails, like really picky but I was very pleased with the work she did and how efficient it was. I needed a manicure on a whim. I liked that this salon had so many great reviews. Eunice herself did my nails. She is so cute. Her personality was very warm, friendly, funny and engaging. My manicure was only $10 and she paid very close attention to detail. They have a $20 minimum on credit cards and they prefer gratuity to be in cash. However since it was my first time and I didn't know this until I got there, they allowed me to charge the manicure and gratuity on the card. Love my nails and love this salon! read more

Eunice nail studio is a gem in an area that really doesn't have much of great nail artistry. The employees are extremely sweet and always make time for you. I recommend Rachael, she is absolutely fantastic and takes the time to do the job right. Eunice the owner is also great and is always the sweet pleasant voice you hear upon entrance or exit. I would say that they are regular to highly priced but it is completely worth it. For my hands I always get an acrylic - there's always a stigma about the aesthetic of an acrylic nail, but as you can see in the photos posted by me, Rachael does an amazing job at making them look natural. For my toes, I always go with the mini spa. You will die when you give this pedicure a try. Takes you away on a relaxing 30-45 minutes. Just what a girls needs on a rough day. So I've been to this nail salon 3-4 times, and my first few visits were great! My long stiletto nails were shaped just how I wanted. I recently decided to go really short as I plan to get a new set soon and just wanted a break. Last Tuesday I cut my nails all the way down to my skin and just got a mauve color gel on top.. everyone loved the color (including myself) HOWEVER I work in the hair industry and by Thursday 4 nails chipped and on two the gel color completely peeled off.. I went back and they fixed them no problem or charge.. now a few days later and 2 are chipped and one is almost off completely again! I was also thrown off at the price being the same for my long stilettos and the short square.. I wouldnt mind but I dont have the time to keep getting them fixed. I have been going to them twice a month for the last four months religiously and will never go anywhere else. I went in today for a gel manicure and regular pedicure with a same day appointment I arrived a little bit early for. The salon had limited street parking. I was about ten minutes early, but they took me right away. I was given one of the quickest, but also best gel manicures by Rachel, I have ever received. It is crucial to me for the manicurist to get ALL of the cuticles and dry skin off my nails! I was surprised by how quick the manicure was and I inspected my nails thoroughly. She truly did an awesome job. I was given a regular pedicure by another woman, I believe her name was Linda. She took her time and gave me a very relaxing pedicure. The massage chairs were so-so, definitely sat in better (some massage setting buttons on my remote did not work), but that's a small detail to me. I am deducting one star because I always watch how manicurist clean the foot soaking tubs after a pedicure. I watched two different pedicure stations not be cleaned and ONLY rinsed off with water. This usually would be a deciding factor for me to never return. But, from the phone call to make my appointment to the moment I stepped out the door, the women in this salon were SO sweet. I paid a total of $55 for my gel manicure and regular pedicure (not including tip). They used hot stones for my regular pedicure which were really relaxing.
