I walked right in and got a pedicure. It was a basic pedicure and I received a quick shoulder massage while my feet dried. The nail technician did a nice job on applying the polish. Ok. This is my first mani pedi. So nothing to compare it to other than when I do my own. So I will start with this is a very clean establishment. The ideal of seeing them take out another set of tools after doing the previous customer is good. Never hurts to have so pretty lady grooming my hands and feet either. Lol she was not not rough on me considering I have thick nails. So that was comforting. The massage chair was really good. Dug into my back like I needed. I love how she scrubbed my feet getting the dry skin off. Nice foot massage. Not sure of what prices are like since it was a gift. But I am told they are more on the expensive side. Top. Notch. Service. I'm new to the area & was dreading finding a new salon to handle my nail care needs. As a walk-in on a Saturday morning, I waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. I thought I'd have to wait much longer since they were obviously busy, but that wasn't the case. My old set was soaked off quickly. The technician was quick & thorough. I'm embarrassed to say it'd been months since I had my feet done. By the time the tech was done with my feet, I felt like a new woman. I even got a little massage at the end of my services. The owner, Esther, was so nice & personable. I mentioned that I was hungry & she recommended the deli next door which was also very good. I'm so glad this salon is close to home. I don't write many reviews, but after seeing the destruction of small businesses that Covid has caused, I would like to do my part for the few places I frequent. When Spas where allowed to re-open in NJ I flocked to this location, which I have been visiting for over 5 years. Post Covid they have pivoted safely and I have been here 6 times. *Please note they are by Appointment Only at this time - call ahead* They have added the plastic splash shield around the sides and front of your seat. The owner welcomes you warmly at the door, checks your temperature, has you sign in, and guides you to your seat (As you can see on the far right) and everyone must wear a mask. For pedicures they provide single use, nail files, and a kit with scrub solution, lotion and soaking solution. Additionally the tub is lined with single use plastic. The women who provide the nail services have always done a great job and I have always left happy. Disclaimer is I mostly get pedicures and cannot speak for their other services. I think that a 5 star review is hard to award but in these difficult times their efforts should be rewarded. I love frequenting this place and would hate to see it close. Came for a pedicure that kind of grossed me out when they used paper towel instead of a cloth towel to put my feet on. They only broke out the towel at the end. Decent color selection but not the best I've seen. read more

Solid nail salon, No surprises here. The gel manicures always come out good and last 2 weeks. Pedicures are also good, but the massage chairs are almost all broken. Don't get your hands done by Esther, she's a little sloppy and files crooked but the rest of the ladies are good for gel manicures. They don't use towels while doing pedicures. They lay down a cheap paper towel which of course was soaked the moment I took my feet out the water. It was unusual & a bit uncomfortable for me. Second visit I figured I'd open my mouth and asked for a regular, cotton (or whatever) towel once my paper towel was soaked and cold. I was asked by the owner why and what's the difference. Both visits I sat in two different spots and neither massage chair worked. Won't be returning. read more

Avoid this place if you can. I went here as a last minute thing. The ladies in the front were nice to me though, and I went to one of them. While doing the manicure she glued one of the nails CROOKED. Not only did I asked her to fix it twice, but the way she filed my nails were not that good. Then she switched me to another nail lady to help the other nail techs with the customer. The lady that i was switched too was nice and even fixed my crooked nail. She even did the nails better than the other lady. But the nail price in total was horrific. 60 bucks for a half assed set? I only tipped the Spanish lady and not the other one. I went for a pedicure yesterday on a sunday, they are closed on Mondays. I called to see if they were busy she said no so I went, well guess what they busy apparently its very important for a 3 year old, 5 year old, 6 year olds to have a medi & pedi w/ mommy, one mother had a 2 kids, another had 3 & another had one 3 year old, well now am waiting a good 40 mins, then the gentleman sits me in a chair & runs the water, I am happy now because the girl I want to give me my pedicure is free, but no she has to do the 3 years feet who just happen to sit in the chair well am steamy now & had to wait another half hour to have my feet done and all the while listening to a kid yell mommy a f-----g thousand times I thought I would lose my mind ( she is done so now its lets go mommy) mother is niw having her feet done all the time having her other kid hanging on her the time she us having a pedicure. Here is my point I go like most woman do, to relax & get pamper& just have a moment of blissful quite time, I do not want to hear kids yelling, running back & forth & jumping up & down & I don't want to wait for a little shit ass to have her nails done that they only mess up in 2 seconds to begin with, you mothers out there I get it its something to do with your daughter do it it at home till they can be able to wait the wait & think of the other mother who got a babysitter to watch her kid, all for sake that she may take a hour out of her day to be pamper & I can assure you if she dud not want to be bothered with her kid she does not want to hear yours. The worse now salon I ever been to, I went in there as soon as they open at 9:30 with me and my mom she started doing my nails and then she stopped five minutes after and said I have an appointment my thing is if you know you had an appointment come at five minutes after me you shouldn't of started my nails so someone else started on my nails , The lady had a very bad attitude she didn't want to do the designs I wanted then when I tried to tell her that my nose are crooked or is still have dents in it oh let's not forget I told her that. Space one of the nails are curved and it needs to be done over she tells me know that so my fingers are, my mom is getting her feet done they put the thick line on her toes for her pedicure and she told the lady she didn't like it so she made her sit in the chair for extra 15 minutes and then did her feet bottom line I would never go there again. read more

I've had my nails done here four times. The last two times my nail polish cracked on my toes within two hours of leaving. I've never had an issue anywhere else having my toe nail polish crack, usually I have to have salons take it off in order to put new polish on! Also, out of the four times I went for a mani/pedi three of those times I had a massage chair that was broken. That is my favorite part! They don't seem like they have any intention of fixing the chairs soon. They are nice people, but for $60 for a gel french mani and french pedi the experience is lack luster. read more

I went here twice! both times horrible service. the last time, they turned me away with my 1 yr old daughter because they couldn't accommodate a pedicure and full set even after I called ahead of time. I was there and they (tall lady that sits next to Esther the owner) did my nails terribly. first they dont use crystal powder, then to top off the disappointment, she replaced two nails with silk wraps, and instead of suggesting to replace the full tips with silk wrapping; she was upset and said she had other customers waiting and she will not do it this time around. please don't waste your time on this place. it's truly not worth it! poor service! read more

I have been going to My Nails for the past couple of years and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as the owners. The customers are very nice too. You tend to see the same people come in on a regular basis if you're a regular customer like I have become. The store is conveniently located in the Roselle shopping area on 1st Avenue. It can get very crowded on the week-ends in the summer or around the holidays so try to go in early (opening) or make an appointment. A ++++ read more

Not worth it! I took my niece to treat her for her birthday and her acrylic nails fell off two days later. My gel polish came off three days later. They are over priced and they don't listen to your request. I asked for change, to give my tip because I was trying to be nice and she never gave me my change, she kept it and told me it was her tip. read more

Rude and condescending staff to others. The owners only find their regulars valuable. I thought they were rude when they opened, tried it again when rushing and again the same treatment. The Asian women were talking and laughing at the customers, the male owner literally pushed us out the store, and tips were being asked for the moment we sat down. I won't go there ever again and I hope they are removed from the community as they have no respect for the people who live in it. The workers were embarrassed by their managers because they could read the body language that the owners and managers were rude. I became a customer as soon as My Nails opened because of their low prices and proximity to my house. My Nails was my go to spot for about a year. The staff was pleasant and most of them took pride in their work. As you know, with any establishment, there are good and not so good employees so I steered clear of some and frequented others. I'm sorry I can't supply names, I am working on remembering to ask questions, ask for business cards, and applaud good service when I receive it. I stopped going to My Nails when they increased their prices without notice. I started testing the waters with other salons in the area but none treated me with the same service and care as My Nails. I also realized I paid the same price for service in other subpar nail salons and didn't receive half of the treatment I did at My Nails. I started going back to My Nails when I realized the pricing was great for the service I received. I can't imagine going anywhere else to get a manicure and pedicure now. I appreciate good service.
