First time having farmer boys and when you walk inside you notice the cleanliness. You can either order at the front or you can scan QR code at the table and they will bring it out to you. I had the bacon burger and I don't know why I was driving by all those times. They have excellent burgers with fresh ingredients. My mom and I went to Farmer Boys and we had a fantastic experience. One of the ladies that worked there recognized my mom from a prior visit. She was so kind and accommodating. They serve burgers here and other items. My mom likes the fried fish. It comes with a sweet tartar sauce but my mom bring Japanese prefers her soy sauce. The food is fresh. This is one of the fast food places that allows you to find a table first and order right from the table. The staff members circulate the room frequently to ensure your experience there is enhanced. Perhaps the food is good but will never know. I ordered the basic chicken sandwich and onion rings at the drive through. Thought I misheard the price and at the window and asked if there was a mistake. $19.67! I asked why so much and was told $7 for onion rings an $12 for sandwich. When starting to write this review, the thought popped into my head "why do I eat at Farmer Boys? " My answer is that the food is better than the mainstream fast food options that I consistently avoid. Though a few of my recent visits to this (Higley/Baseline) Farmer Boys location have left me very dissatisfied. I'll share my most recent negative experience (and hopefully Omar, the owner, will see this and act on it). I usually bring others with me on each visit. This time family and a friend. Their orders were OK, and I ordered a hamburger that came out on the wrong bun. Their attempt to fix it resulted in the correct bun but the wrong meat. Two apologies behind, they came out with the third attempt which was the same initial (wrong bread) sandwich but this time the fries were also gone. They admitted it was a simple order (and correctly printed on the receipt) but they just kept doing it incorrectly. This process took a significant amount of time the others in my party had already finished eating so I declined their offer to make a fourth try at it and was refunded my portion of the order. I ate nothing. It's worth noting that we were the only people in the restaurant. Not busy! One of the employees was seen dancing and laughing about the matter, though each time someone came to the table they were polite. I haven't decided if I'll go back to Farmer Boys. The people are nice but they are mostly matter-of-fact with their customers. I've been observing their interactions over the years. They could use some attention to simple detail and some third party customer service training (coupled with good management backbone). It's too easy to keep using the "can't get good help" or "they don't want to work" excuses. My chicken sandwich and zucchini were all piping hot and delicious. They had a promotion for St. Patrick's day and I got a free zucchini as a result. Turns out they were 4 giant pieces and really fresh. My sandwich was hot in terms of heat, nice and fresh as well. It was the fiery chicken, that's a bit questionable as the spice level was about a 3. But it was delicious and their customer service more than made up for it. I recently visited for the third time. I've had salads with my parents. We enjoyed the fresh ingredients and large portions. The second time I had a burger and brought one to a co-worker. I thought I ordered you know.. the standard about 3" sticks... I got 4 2x4's of zucchini . They literally cut these from state fair size /# winning produce ! He had a salad .. again i'm ordering the bad stuff .. the planks were delicious they use cornmeal breading and it's not super thick . All hand cut they appeared . He gobbled down the entire salad. Food is good. In a lot of ways, it reminds me of mom and pop burger joints in SoCal I grew up with. Love that you can get a breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread. The Mayo (I know sounds weird) is really good and worthy of dipping fries in. I wish they brought back the regular steak fries as the battered fries (while always crispy) as they don't taste as good. Burgers are flavorful and believe they are cooked over an open flame. The grilled cheese is one of the best ones I've had from a fast food joint...I would say about equal with that of The Habit. My only real complaint is the fuzzy math when it comes time to use a coupon. I wanted to use the 20% off coupon, but the cashier said that I couldn't use it with the B1G1 50% off on the sandwich deal she gave me. When I told her the 20% Coupon would be a greater discount even when charging me full price for both sandwiches, she got flustered and said she couldn't do it. For the record, $3.85 before tax discount for the B1G1 is less than the $5.39 discount I would have received using the 20% off coupon ($15.38+4.99+3.29+3.29=26.95 before tax minus 20% = $5.39 discount. read more

So hubby and I try out Farmer Boys today and I got the 3pc chicken strip basket combo with chili ranch and raspberry tea, hubby got the Bacon Boy and the cashier asked if he wanted to make it a combo and he said sure which was a fry and a drink with the double bacon cheeseburger! Cashier says $29.83!!! WTF excuse me why so much? His burger was $12 by itself and to make it a combo they charge $6 more. WTF lol I have never heard of $6 to make it a combo.. $2 more yes not $6 I just can't believe that! They should tell ppl that when they ask you if you want to make it a combo for $6 more.... So we go sit down place is very clean, the had a nice lady walking around cleaning and talking to people so that was nice! The bathroom was very clean for once! I hardly ever go to the public bathroom cause they are always so gross but I had to this time and a lady was in there cleaning it as well! So that's a big plus for me! So they bring out the food out and it looks good but not $29.83 worth! Had a busy morning, so no time to cook. I stumbled upon this new place while taking my daughter to a doc appt. I got their Cali omelette and a Oreo milkshake. The drive-thru cashier was extremely friendly and sweet. The milkshake was subpar at best I expected something a bit richer. The Omelette was pretty good for a fast food place, I did enjoy the extremely crispy bacon. I did enjoy that they buttered my sourdough bread very well.
