Sad waste of money. It was a to-go order. My man picked up & came straight home. My meat patty was an overdone piece of leather. His was slathered with cheese, so had some flavor. I have not been to Farmer Boys in about 18 years. I wasn't even aware that there was one in AZ. I was craving chili cheese fries searched for best chili cheese fries nearby and was so happy to see Farmer Boys come up. I used to go often when I lived in CA. I ordered a cheese burger and, of course, some chili cheese fries. The burger had some pink in the patti, which I prefer more of a well-done burger it was still really good. The fries were so good! Completely satisfied my chili cheese fries craving. There is all day breakfast. Customer service.......wasn't the best, unfortunately. We took a bit trying to figure out the menu and decide what we wanted and the young lady at the register seemed bothered. Then when we were given the food we had to ask for silverware and the gentleman also seemed bothered. The first thing I noticed was the building looked exactly like the one's I was used to. That was a good sign. When I went inside it was just like the ones I was used to. Even the smell. Atmosphere - A fast food place that looks like most other fast food places.  Except that they have annoying folk music playing.  We found a nice booth away from the other two tables in use. Food Drink - I had some hot black coffee.  The coffee was served in the standard to go cup. Breakfast - I had the breakfast burrito, with sausage.  If I did not look for the sausage and saw those tiny little pieces I would have thought they had forgotten to add the meat.  The egg was fine, and the hash browns had some parts burnt to a crisp. Service - You place your order at the counter.  Drinks are handed out along with a table number.  The food is brought out to your table, on real plates, okay hard plastic plates but plates none the less. Some may disagree with me here, but for the price we were a bit disappointed in the food quality and for what you're getting. Several of us also mentioned that we got this nostalgic flavor from the burgers and fries. The burgers reminded us of a burger king whopper (eerily similar) and the fries were very similar to McDonald's. The zucchini side a nice change from typical fast food sides and everyone liked them. They are thick cut and fried. For a place to claim they are not fast food joint, they prepped our two burgers and fries much quicker than most fast food burger places! And for the price which was way more than we spend at in n out vs the quality, I can't say for certain we'll be back. As a fairly new place, I think Farmer Boys still needs to work on ironing out the kinks. The drive-thru line was at a standstill, and I was trapped in it for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, my fries and burger patty were served cold. Super disappointing. I gave them another chance, and we went inside on our second visit. This time, the food was served hot, which was good. Both times, however, the bun was very dry- almost stale-tasting. I will say that the produce was very fresh though. So the whole experience was a bit of a mixed bag. read more

Hurts my head! Had to try this new Burger place in Gilbert. Line went out the door but moved quickly. The drive up line was crazy long but also seemed to move well. We ordered a good sampling of their offerings: Their Signature Burger the Farmer's Burger with Zucchini (more in a moment), wife ordered the Fiery Chicken Sandwich. We added to that a big Farmers chopped Cobb Salad and the Chili Cheese Fries. (My son got the kids burgers and fruit, very good) Ok, I've got a Smart Alex mouth and my wife doesn't tolerate it well and often clobbers me. So, take this advice and watch out for the GIANT ZUCCHINI! It hurts! I'm telling you, those Zucc's are GIANT, giant like clubs! Just ask her! The Farmers Burger is a full sized double with everything on it. It's a real masterpiece! The Fiery Chicken sandwich could have been a lot closer to the style of the Farmers Burger but they missed it. It's tasty but a bit of a disappointment compared to the Farmers Burger. The Salad is a very good Cobb and the chili fries are very good. This was their second day open and they seemed to have it running smooth even with the monster crowd. Give Farmers Burgers a try and I think you'll add it to your list of regular burger places. read more

Saw this place open up and wanted to see what it was all about. Service was good. Everyone is super nice. Food was good. Everything came out fresh. I really liked how they chop everything up on the salad so it's easy to eat. The fried zucchini was huge! You see the menu and think I only get 4 pieces? They have graced us with a location right here in Gilbert! My husband and I both got their Double Big Cheese Burgers and for sides we ordered onion rings, fries, and chili cheese fries! They also serve fresh squeezed orange juice so that was what we chose to drink! You could literally taste the quality beef with every bite! Waited for another 10 minutes. Both of my patties and my wife's patty were burnt to a crisp, so I guess you have to wait extra time to have your burger burnt even though we didn't ask for it that way. Very tough. Bacon was so tough and chewy. I could not split it with my teeth. Fries were soggy and limp even though it says "always crispy" on the bag. The only reason they get one star because the lettuce was crisp. 26 bucks for 2 burgers and one small fry = go to five guys. read more

We've been here several times and love the food. The prices seem a little high but honestly, all fast food prices have increased thanks to our minimum wage increasing , so I'm not sure the restaurant can be blamed. Zucchini is REALLY good. Definitely try this to start. The fries are small for what you pay, but again, that's not necessarily a game changer. Burgers are good, breakfast great, onion rings are good, salads too. We have had some issues with incorrect orders, etc with new employees but that is expected with a new(and very busy/popular) business getting started. I wanted to give it 4 stars but decided on five because it's a family friendly place that we keep ending up coming back to! Try this place out next time you want a taste of the 'farm'!! read more

I would put them up against McDonalds any day. They offer combo specials on burgers ans sandwiches if you want a side & a drink. They have a frequent diner program you can join through their app. Staff are always super friendly and quick assembling your order.
