I have always been a fan of Farmer Boys. When I used to work in Ontario California. There were many Farmer Boys locations throughout the inland empire. I have always like there burgers, onion rings, fries, and much more. This location is no exception. Been here twice now, and have had their chicken tenders, chicken sandwich. Both were really good, onion rings have always been my favorite from farmer boys. Yes, the prices may be a little steep. But this isn't no McDonald's either. Great place, great food. read more

In a word ? Yuk Stopped in to give it another chance after a nothing special burger lunch. This time I came at breakfast. There were more staff than customers so I figured orders would be out in a timely manner. I was wrong. I placed my order for eggs, hash browns , bacon . I also placed an order for a side of tomato slices. After a long delay the food came out. It's was the perfect marriage of burned and ice cold that is hard to manage but they did. I realized after they left the table that the tomatoes were missing. I went to the counter and requested my side of tomatoes . After a conversation they told the prep person to prepare the tomato slices ....which I watched happen. The prep person places a SINGLE tomato on a skillet plate. They then seemingly noticed the skillet was dirty so they scratched at the spot and THEN took the tomato slice off and placed it on a clean? Plate. When they handed me that lonely tomato I went back to my table to grab my receipt and returned to counter and asked the person seemingly in charge? Is this a $2.79 "side " of tomatoes? I had to show him where I had in fact paid for the side order. " I didn't know you paid for a side " nope he didn't and they didn't ask me either . They dumped the slice in the trash (good since it had been nearby on the plate while they flicked off the old food )and handed me a new plate with 4 slices of tomatoes. I went back to my now stone cold breakfast. I have included pictures but it's hard to convey the magic of hash browns that are simultaneously raw and incinerated. Toast that is burned but was so cold the butter sat unmelted on top. All in all one of the worst breakfasts I have ever attempted to eat. Couple this with the coffee refill guy walking in a circle around the room without offering a refill to a single patron and I don't need to come back. read more

This place is my go to stop for a quick breakfast burrito! They use hash browns which a nice change from giant clumps of potatoes. They can be filling to even though they look a small they do have a lot in them. I usually go with the bacon one and the. Add a drink or hit the frys close by for an energy drink. The staff is always friendly and very quick, they always send out coupons so you should be able to get a nice little deal for whatever you are eating. Again I'd suggest the breakfast burrito. I've also had the burgers and omelette both were good and filling too. Over all I'd give this place a thumbs up and suggest you try it. I'll be back next time I am craving a burrito. read more

Currently this is the only location in Arizona so we like to stop in when in the area. Join the VIF club for pretty cool rewards and discounts. They have food for vegetarians but for non-vegetarians my friends, they like the burgers. Today I had a veggie burger with jalapeños and it was made pretty yummy. My friend had the Farmer Burger and said this was the best burger. He added onions rings (you only get 4 but they are BIG). I had a side of the zucchini which use to be huge. I guess with inflation, they had to reduce the size . They have eat in and drive tru service. A fairly large menu, breakfast is actually good here. Bruno was sweet and friendly and service was fast. I have gone back and forth for months on whether to write this review. Right after this location opened I tried their hot cakes and really liked them! Same with the breakfast sandwich with sausage. I kept coming back (March & April) and trying more menu items. And then came the day I ordered a non-breakfast item for the first time. The three piece fish and fries. I bought one for both my wife and I. Several hours later we both came down with a really, really bad case of food poisoning. I've never vomited that much in my entire life. I never called them to report it which I should have in hindsight. They would have probably said they were sorry and offered me free food. FB posits itself as one tier higher than the standard fast food restaurant like JiB or McD, but, regardless, what I got for my money was four thick onion rings coated in a flavorless breading that immediately fell off and a tiny, super-thin patty melt that should be on a kid's menu(the sandwich was 1/2" thick at best). The burger was as expected, looked like a frozen patty that you see at other fast food places. It wasn't anything special as far as taste goes either. The fries were ok as well. I had a delightful experience with my Farmer Boy's meal. I ordered my food to-go, but enjoyed being inside the restaurant while I placed my order. The interior is well lit and clean. The lady that took our order was very friendly and helpful and my food came out promptly. Everything was carefully wrapped and placed inside the bag. I ordered the southwest chicken wrap. Each mouthwatering bite was filled with crisp lettuce, delicious chipotle sauce, and tasty grilled chicken. The pico, black beans, and corn on the inside added the perfect touch to an already amazing wrap. I love that this wrap also comes as a salad if I'm wanting to change it up. The fries were delicious, and extra crispy as promised on the menu. The fried zucchini sticks left something to be desired, but I enjoyed trying them out nonetheless! Went through the drive through for the first time. We got the classic cheese burger, the spicy chicken sandwich, and fries. The chicken sandwich was terrible, smothered in weird spicy Mayo with no pickles or fillings other than a piece of rubbery fried chicken. Took 2 bites and threw the rest away. The burger however was amazing! And I loved the soft texture of the French fries. We got ranch to dip them in and the ranch was also really good homemade quality. I'd give them another try to explore some more menu items, but never again with anything chicken. The prices weren't cheap either. read more

Starberry shake was delicious and combo meal is rather generously sized for the price about $30 for 2 combos shake made it a little more expensive but it was with it! I had a Big Cheese which was nothing to write home about. The burger did have a nice charbroiled taste to it but that's about the end of what made it good. The burger itself was very thin and the sauce was nothing special. I am not a fan of battered fries and these are not only battered but were bland as well. We also ordered some onion rings which were also very bland. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the service was fine. We only received a single napkin with our meal, which may seem like a nit, but attention to detail is kinda important and is what puts a place like In and Out miles a head. Hubby and I tried Farmer Boys for the first time. Hubby enjoyed his burger and onion rings. The onion rings don't come with a lot of seasoning so my husband added a touch of salt. Can't say enough positive things about this place! We had a horrible experience at Cracker Barrel Higley location. Rude employees, long wait for food and food was ice cold. We left, still hungry and found Farmer Boys. I looked up the menu and we gave it a try. Glad we did! Happened to go by when there wasn't too insane of a line so I was able to get through and out in around 20 minutes. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are good. Nothing too insane, you're not going to suddenly stop going to other burger places but they're worth it if you're nearby. Their fries though are really good and I'm not a huge fry person. The only negative is the fried zucchini. It's stupid. They literally take a whole damn zucchini, quarter it, fry it and give it to you, (no ranch either, or maybe they just gipped me?).
