It's a really good place with a beautiful big inside and cool decorations. The menu is pretty big and has good variety of food. Burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders, etc. everything you could want at any burger joint and the staff are all extremely friendly and nice. If you go here get a burger or sandwich with fries. It's all fantastic and worth the price of what you're paying for and it's for sure a beautiful inside. The burger has a good char flavor way better than Burger King and the fries are crispy with just enough salt on them so they're not too salty. I would for sure come back here again to try out other stuff too when I come back in the future. There are no criticisms from me at all when it comes to this place and I like that there is more than enough seating inside for there to be multiple parties or people.

Portillos queen creek. I had the one in Buena Park ca. both are equally just as good and consistent Beef sand with sweet pepper. Dip on the side. Lots of good quality meat. Not dry at all. So good when you dip it. Also got a chopped salad. Pretty fresh quality ingredients. Had pasta. Interesting but it works Extra credit to the local beer. So cold. One of the coldest beers ever served to us. Overall good food especially when you need a late night meal. Cause everything else closes early in this side of town

There is usually a little bit of a wait for the food, as expected. Double lane drive thru, very large parking area, nice clean Portillos location. Food is usually as expected and orders have been correct. Friendly service.

I really like portillo's. Cheese sauce with everything! Sandwiches are good, dogs are awesome but my fave is the maxwell polish dog! Service is good as well. Thanks guys!

The restaurant was super clean and the service was great, but the Hot Dogs I ordered weren't that flavorful and pretty bland. I got the Chicago Dog, and the Chili Cheese. Both were mediocre. But I also got a slice of Chocolate Cake and it was delicious!

I love Portillo's. This location has always been a smooth running vessel since they opened last year. The management team has been captaining this ship like pro's across the waters. Yesterday despite being almost deserted they got my order wrong not once but twice, as after I brought my incorrectly made burger up to the counter they gave me an equally incorrect burger. The Coke dispenser stuck when I was refilling my cup, resulting in a waterfall of soda just spilling from the machine. Seems like they have a new captain aboard who is sailing the ship into troubled waters. I hope he gets the crew up to speed before they crash this fine vessel into the rocks.

Love that the new Queen Creek location is open! I've eaten at multiple locations in multiple states and I have always had great food and service and this new location is no exception! Brought the hubby here for dinner tonight since he's never eaten at one before and he's now a huge fan! He got the rodeo burger and said it was outstanding. We also loved the onion rings. We got the cheese fries to try and it wasn't a thumbs up. It's just French fries with a side of that nasty tasting nacho cheese out of a can. Sorry but that's a no go for us. But that's okay now we know and we will pass on it next time. But that's just my humble opinion. I had the Italian meat sandwich with mozzarella cheese and sweet peppers. Got the gravy on the side to dip it in. Yummy! Next time I'll get it with double cheese and order it wet with a side of gravy for dipping because come on can you really have to much gravy? I think not! Inside of the restaurant is decorated with the usual Portillos decor and it is nice and clean. Love the self serve drink station. We are already planning our next trip for dinner.

Service is getting better. The food is almost as good as it is in Chicago. Usually go to the one in Gilbert as it seems to be more friendly.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.

Even several feet away, the smell of the burgers grilling is mouthwatering. This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!). We also ordered the Inferno Cluck which is their take on Nashville hot chicken, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, crunchy onions on a 10-inch hoagie. Honestly, unless you were just starving, this is big enough to split with someone. It's a huge sandwich, all the more so with the generous side order of fries. I love spicy so I asked them to add their Raising Pain sauce. It does kick things up a notch and since it is served on the side, you should get it too. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I ended up abandoning the hoagie and just focusing on the generous portion of chicken. YUM! Several types of fries are on offer. The fries are SO crisp. These are exactly how you want fries to be served. I tried customizing mine to the ginger wasabi fries but they were sadly out. We ended up upgrading to the Yum Yum fries which are smothered with their house-made cheese sauce, chopped ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and gold sauce. Delicious but a meal unto itself. We also had the Arizona fries which are the spicy version with Chipotle aioli and jalapenos. Delicious but a meal alone. The website listed some yummy-sounding dessert options but they had been crossed off the sandwich board when we visited. Perhaps they only do dessert for catering events now. Although based in the San Tan Valley, Yum Rockets pops up around the Valley. You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. Truly one of the best out there!
