It's been at least a year since I was a patron of Weinerschnitzel and I think the most recent time was my last time. For starters, I'm not a fan of AI-based ordering systems at a drive-thru. It always feel so impersonal and I feel like I have to match the robot voice to make sure it understands me. That said my order was pretty basic, so the process was similarly basic. Although when I arrived at the window, no one greeted me or informed me that it would take longer than usual to make my food. I don't mind waiting (Habit Burger typically takes a while too) but I did mind not being greeted when I pulled up, even with something as generic as "we're working on it." But the two main reasons I won't be returning is the food and the price. Nothing was seasoned! The chili was bland, the hotdog was probably just sitting in a warmer and the fries were barely salted. Everything just tasted bland and flavorless. I was also taken aback by the hefty price tag. My 2 chili-cheese dogs, medium fry and drink came to nearly $20! I'm not against paying that much for fast food but it should be worthy of the price tag. It wasn't. The upgrade to the all beef hotdog didn't help either as the normal price for that meal was just under $12, so part of the price issue is on me but. I also don't believe that a simple upgrade like would increase the price by nearly 40%. I know it's not a one-to-one comparison, but it's astonishing that Weinerschnitzel can charge that much for 2 hotdogs when Costco gives you a gigantic beef hotdog and a large drink for $1.50. And of course I could buy all these ingredients for less at the grocery store and have leftovers, so I know I'm mostly paying for convenience but nearly $20 for an unseasoned meal just isn't worth it. In my opinion, the price vs. convenience ratio doesn't make Weinerschnitzel worth it, so you'd be better off buying hotdogs, buns, etc at the store and having a much better experience. read more

Went to wienerschnitzel at 10:30pm. GREAT SERVICE. Me and my friend ordered the Chicago dogs, corn dogs, fries, and the chocolate dipped cone. Man was very friendly, he gave us extra chocolate dip with our cones. Hot dogs were AMAZING. Only down side was when I asked to request a song. They only play the radio. They have about four locations throughout the valley. I was surprised that there were so many but they are strategically placed around the valley in different parts. I have a hard time spelling Wienerschnitzel. It must make it hard for other people to find too when they are trying to type it in to a search engine. The service was fast and I thought the inside was clean. Not sure if I got there before too many other people would arrive. Their corn dogs are pretty good where they have a crispy exterior crust. I like it best with some ketchup. They don't taste greasy to me. I can mostly just taste the corn that makes up the corn dog batter. When you take it to go, they put it into a brown paper bag. You can get ketchup packets for the corn dog. I don't get mustard but I think that is also available. read more

I can see why they have 3 stars. BEWARE!!!! Make sure you have all your food before leaving the drive thru. They forgot my kids 3 orders of fires. When I called they said I could come get them. Unfortunately it is 15 mins away and I wasn't gonna drive all the way back. They then said I could come get my money back. No apologies at all. Just talking to me like I made the mistake. And when I asked if they would pay for my gas to go back they hung up on me. That was after I let the phone ring for almost 40 minutes waiting for them to pick up my call. We went there the other evening purchased for all beef hotdog, and one order of chili fries. We parked to the side and started eating when we opened up the chili fries. It was disgusting half a box of shoestring french fries with a little bit of sauce on it. There was no signs of chili on top of the fries. We will never go back to eat there. Been waiting for this location to open for the last several month as I will no longer need to travel almost a half hour deep in the heart of Gilbert to get some Weinerschnitzel. For opening day, the drive thru line was pretty busy, but was able to get thru the line within about 10 mins. The girl who took my order was having trouble hearing me as I had to repeat my order several times and still got it wrong (#2 corn dogs combo, with a medium fry no salt and small Diet Dr. Pepper). She talked me into adding on a desert (chocolate dipped ice cream cone). The food was good, but my fries had salt and I'm pretty sure my Dr. Pepper was regular based on the taste and no diet tab pressed on my lid. I'm also not sure if the fries I received were a small or medium like I requested. I am going to cut these guys some slack since I went here on opening day, after all. I am really glad Weinerschnitzel has come to QC as the brand is one of my favorite fast food restaurants...and they have much better tasting corn dogs than Sonic. read more

Now we relocated in Queen Creek, we were happy to see one not to far from us. Three stars is from the experience only, we love their chili dogs, and fries. This location however is a little slow. We enjoy going to this location here in Queen Creek. Food quality is always as you expect it should be. We have their chili cheese hot dogs and mustard/relish hot dogs. Just the standard dog not the upscale options they will offer you. Buns are fresh and pair nicely with the hot dogs,there is also a pretzel bun that gives another choice to your hot dog experience. French Fries are a treat,served hot with salt,a favorite of ours. Have tried the ice cream and it's ok, but the grandkids think it's great.
