Been here twice ! A little pricey but def worth it ! The lavender latte is delicious and pairs well with the chillequilles .

my best friend wanted to come here and i'm so glad we did, we got the chilaquiles, french toast, earl grey tea, hibiscus limeade and the pumpkin spice latte, both food items were a 10/10, so flavorful and perfectly made, i appreciated the chilaquiles being slightly spicy and the salsa they put on them was delicious which i was shocked cause most brunch spots have bland tasting salsa, all the workers i interacted with were nice and welcoming, the set up inside and outside is so cute, the hibiscus limeade wasn't too sweet which is perfect for me and the pumpkin spice latte is by far the best one i've ever had in my life! the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, definitely excited to come back!

Brunch here was good. We arrived last Sunday at noon and it was pretty busy. We found a table as it opened up and the worker quickly came over to clean it up for us. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet, toast, and potatoes. I also ordered a side of French toast to share with the table. The omelet was ok but it was just too plain for me as it was really bland. The potatoes were delicious though and those were seasoned well. The French toast were also pretty good and they were fluffy on the inside. The cashier was friendly and the inside was clean. It has a very homey vibe to it.

Can confirm: still a cute spot to bring your pup on Central near uptown! We both got coffees and shared the Frenchie Toast. My cold brew coffee was ready immediately, and they forgot his mocha (but grabbed it when they brought our plate). They have updated it since we were here last: there's an outdoor walk up/bar area with stools and a dog bowl for water. When we went, we saw a man with his pet parrot on his shoulder. So this indoor/outdoor patio is still animal friendly! Frenchie Toast was damn good! Would absolutely get it again if we were craving some near Uptown. Only downside to this place is parking is kinda tough. You really either luck out and grab one, or you're going to be stuck having to get back on Central and make a u-turn (and then again) to circle around. This spot is right next to the light rail so it's essentially on a one-way road.

A vibrant Saturday morning well spent in this restaurant. I loved my Avocado Farro bowl and my friend enjoyed his eggs benedict special. I also got a cup of tea for my couple hours of work. I appreciate the large communal space, which is a large table at the center of the restaurant. While it was a busy day with lots of diners, I somehow was able to focus even more. The WiFi is strong, by the way.

Lovely brunch at Fàme Caffe, an airy neighborhood café serving farm-to-fork fare with French and Mexican flair. They're all about quality ingredients, sourcing locally from farmers and artisans, and creating a space that truly feels like home, and you can taste the care in every bite. I ordered the DOS: two eggs, chicken sausage, Noble toast with strawberry preserves, and rosemary potatoes, perfectly balanced and so comforting. I paired it with an iced matcha tea , which was refreshing and just right for a sunny Phoenix morning. A great spot for relaxed brunch vibes, great cocktails, and thoughtful food (outdoor seating too!). The service was friendly!

Quick service for such a busy brunch spot! Vegan tacos were delicious, but could have used a bit more flavor. High energy spot with lots of tables close together - great for making new friends or eavesdropping LOL

This is a super cute spot for brunch or breakfast. Lots of families here and friends catching up. Very fast service. You order at the front and it comes out at your table. The pancake was just ok.. kind of mushy texture but the eggs, bacon and potatoes were great!

My mom and I came here for breakfast. A new place for us to try. The place is nice and modern. The service is good, not much of service. I mean you go in order your food first, they give you a table number, and they bring the food out to you. If you get drip coffee you go and serve yourself. That coffee (drip coffee) was weak, we didn't really care for it. The food was ok, I got "DOS" plate the potatoes were too big, and I got a pancake and that was too sweet. In other words the presentation was nice but didn't really care for the food. This place seemed good, seemed like a lot of people like it here but not a place for us.

Fàme is such a great local spot, everyone is so friendly and the food / drinks are DELICIOUS! I personal go to is the breakfast wrap (add avocado) and an iced vanilla latte. I will say the weekend does get busy but the line moves quickly! You order at counter and have the option to either sit outside or inside, depending on when you're visiting AZ I would take advantage of the cooler months and definitely sit outside!

Love this spot!! I drove past it one day and decided I needed to stop in. The food was delicious, I had the croque madame. The speciality latte was maple bourbon and it was yummy! Will definitely be back :)

Cute little cafe with great food! I had their chicken pesto sandwich, which was great and their house made pickles are sooo good. Loved the hibiscus limeade too. The service was prompt and friendly as well. We will be back when we're in Phx next!

The pastry case is pure temptation, and if you've never tried their cookies, you're seriously missing out. They're my absolute favorite, so naturally I had to leave with a box full of goodies to enjoy later. For dinner, I ordered their iconic grilled cheese with tomato soup, and I genuinely don't think another sandwich has ever come close. The perfectly golden, buttery bread paired with the rich, comforting tomato soup is the definition of comfort food. An easy 100/10 every single time. My husband ordered the steak, and it was just as impressive--perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. Now let's talk about the cocktails because they're one of the biggest reasons I love coming here. Sam has been my go-to bartender for years, and he always creates something unique just for me. Most of my favorite drinks aren't even on the menu! In fact, he named one of his signature cocktails after me, and it's become a local favorite--which still makes me smile every time I order it. It's little touches like that that make this place feel so personal. Between the consistently incredible food, handcrafted cocktails, cozy and eclectic atmosphere, and the genuinely wonderful staff, Lux Central has earned a permanent place in my heart. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that feels like home while still managing to feel effortlessly cool. Seven years later, I'm still happily making my way back and I have no plans on stopping anytime soon.

Shall we? + The space is charming, pastries' display impressive, staff seem intent, good location and vibe. - The prices, lack of a menu on display, and details. See below. Latte large requested cup and saucer and almond croissant. Inquired about quiche but did not look attractive sitting alone in plastic in a cooler. Poor thing. The Latte Latte well made, four shots. Alright, then. Good cup and saucer. Amen. Then asked about stirrers. Told to use a plastic spoon. Please tell me if anyone in France would ever stir a real hot coffee in a proper cup and saucer with a plastic utensil. Anyone? Right. Please offer wooden stirrers to guests and bonus points for a real spoon for those of us who don't want a paper cup. It really makes a difference. It would be criminal to use plastic. The (Sort Of) Almond Croissant An almond croissant is the secret test. It's like tasting vanilla at an ice cream store. Forget the others. This is the litmus. But before we talk almond, I had to do a double take on the receipt that thankfully I emailed myself. Because is this in Soho? West Hollywood? The Bay? How did this turn out to be $14? Because the almond croissant is $7. Say again. Never mind the best croissant spot in the West Village is less than that, but I took a bite, and oh my. I almost got up and said something. But I really was not in the mood. I had other things to attend to. Where do I start. Well, there was barely an almond to speak of. Hint of almond. The paste was like a disappearing act. But that I can handle. It was the texture. It was hard. Tasted old. Bland. Forgotten. Like someone forgot about the almonds, forgot them in the car. It was July 4th, and they remembered. I've had better croissants at airports. Ok, in the EU but you get the point. Did I just choose the wrong pastry, or the wrong day? They all looked pretty. Everyone got the berry thing. The Table My table was wobbly. Not awful but enough to be annoying. Between that and my phantom $7 almond croissant. The one left behind before someone remembered the almonds. That one. Can anyone use one of its cousins to hold up this table and fix this wobble? Might have been a better idea than breakfast. The Restroom Ok, cute idea to have a kitchen utensil as the restroom key. Nifty thought. Here's another. Can the liquid dispenser for soap be repaired or replaced? That too is wobbly and broken. You see the theme here. And dry hands. The (Bare) Display Case I had read about sandwiches. I love me an egg salad. The display case was bare. Maybe M-F? Lots of (plastic) pellegrinos. No Perrier or other sparkling in a real glass bottle. And definitely no Orangina. The Plants The plastic plants on each table. For the outdoors, sure. For an indoor French cafe table with $7 croissants, not so much. The theme again. The Staff They seemed stressed. I don't know why. When I ordered I felt more tension and rushed then a my corner pizza shop in NY. I don't get it. They tried though. Like it feels serious. High stakes. No smiles. All three not one smile. An Encore? Maybe. Overall, maybe. I don't know if I chose the wrong pastry and the wrong day. Could it be that. The Bread The bread looked good. I will give it that. And more expensive than my local bakery in NY. My Orwashers loaf purchased weekly is $12. And the slice it. And bigger. And they smile. But maybe if the bread is good, I am happy. It's hard to find good bread in Phoenix let alone this area. The Menu Please have it displayed somewhere with prices. Think that's a professional courtesy. I went online to see the menu from my phone. Or even a code to link. But something. A strange visit. Quite different than expected. I had hoped. Now I don't know. If anyone of the items mentioned are addressed for the next visit, whether the wobbly table, wooden stirrer or real spoon, or restroom soap, or even better a smile, or an almond more, I'd be vastly delighted. I'd love for this to work. There is time.

There is ample space inside with various types of seating and ample charging and free wifi. The front area has window counter space and couches/love seats to lounge. The back area has small tables, large tables, desks with lamps, and a love seat. My only complaint is that this large area gets pretty hot in summer afternoons without adequate AC or fans back here. It was like this last year when I previously attended the evening coffee raves. Both times upon visiting recently in daytime, I ordered the Dark Horse latte, comprised of dark maple syrup, smoked sea salt, espresso, milk. I love this latte because it's sweet but also has depth from the smokiness and saltiness. While I think the coffee is on the pricier side, I'm incredibly satisfied with my drink choice regardless. Overall limited specialty drink menu (which is what I usually care about when exploring coffee shops) but many options in general. Seems like people mostly come here to be on their laptops opposed to socializing here, which I appreciate.
