Blueberry pancakes
Emily S.

Popped over to Fa-me Cafe after an early Sunday morning arrival at the airport and we were able to order and be seated right away. Decided to try the blueberry pancakes and chorizo breakfast wrap and two coffees. Everything tasted delicious, though I did think the food was a bit overpriced. I'm not sure that I would go back to Fa-me Cafe but it had been on my list to try for a while and I'm glad I was finally able to!

I just love this place. I wish it was closer to me but alas it is always a treat. I found out they are moving to 24th st/Camelback in October...so just beware! Their honey lavender latte cannot be beat. I have tried to find one as good as this one at another place and I am always disappointed. Also get a load of that cheese pull on the chorizo burrito. My daughter loved it! I tried to order the eggs Benedict in a Tuesday but it's only available on weekends. Too bad for my taste buds I had to eat a croque madame and holy bananas it was amazing. And also amazing as leftovers the next day. Absolutely delicious. I love this place!

Went to Fa-Me for Sunday brunch with a friend. There was a small line to order, but we were able to grab an outdoor patio table. The setup felt very European small tables, patio chairs, and a cozy, cute atmosphere. The French toast was a bit dry and could have been better, but I really enjoyed my coffee. Overall, a nice spot to sit and catch up, especially if you like outdoor brunch vibes.

the best coffee ever!!! came here on a wednesday for brunch stove around 11 and had super fast service. we ordered coffees (get the carmelita!!!) and Dos and the omelette. super yummy food and they had all the shades down so it was nice and cool. only thing wrong probably was the toast was a little burnt. other than that, it was yummy food, good and friendly staff, and such a chill atmosphere!

Brunch here was good. We arrived last Sunday at noon and it was pretty busy. We found a table as it opened up and the worker quickly came over to clean it up for us. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet, toast, and potatoes. I also ordered a side of French toast to share with the table. The omelet was ok but it was just too plain for me as it was really bland. The potatoes were delicious though and those were seasoned well. The French toast were also pretty good and they were fluffy on the inside. The cashier was friendly and the inside was clean. It has a very homey vibe to it.

Been here twice ! A little pricey but def worth it ! The lavender latte is delicious and pairs well with the chillequilles .

Dog-friendly patio

Can confirm: still a cute spot to bring your pup on Central near uptown! We both got coffees and shared the Frenchie Toast. My cold brew coffee was ready immediately, and they forgot his mocha (but grabbed it when they brought our plate). They have updated it since we were here last: there's an outdoor walk up/bar area with stools and a dog bowl for water. When we went, we saw a man with his pet parrot on his shoulder. So this indoor/outdoor patio is still animal friendly! Frenchie Toast was damn good! Would absolutely get it again if we were craving some near Uptown. Only downside to this place is parking is kinda tough. You really either luck out and grab one, or you're going to be stuck having to get back on Central and make a u-turn (and then again) to circle around. This spot is right next to the light rail so it's essentially on a one-way road.

my best friend wanted to come here and i'm so glad we did, we got the chilaquiles, french toast, earl grey tea, hibiscus limeade and the pumpkin spice latte, both food items were a 10/10, so flavorful and perfectly made, i appreciated the chilaquiles being slightly spicy and the salsa they put on them was delicious which i was shocked cause most brunch spots have bland tasting salsa, all the workers i interacted with were nice and welcoming, the set up inside and outside is so cute, the hibiscus limeade wasn't too sweet which is perfect for me and the pumpkin spice latte is by far the best one i've ever had in my life! the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, definitely excited to come back!

Busy morning

A vibrant Saturday morning well spent in this restaurant. I loved my Avocado Farro bowl and my friend enjoyed his eggs benedict special. I also got a cup of tea for my couple hours of work. I appreciate the large communal space, which is a large table at the center of the restaurant. While it was a busy day with lots of diners, I somehow was able to focus even more. The WiFi is strong, by the way.

Lovely brunch at Fàme Caffe, an airy neighborhood café serving farm-to-fork fare with French and Mexican flair. They're all about quality ingredients, sourcing locally from farmers and artisans, and creating a space that truly feels like home, and you can taste the care in every bite. I ordered the DOS: two eggs, chicken sausage, Noble toast with strawberry preserves, and rosemary potatoes, perfectly balanced and so comforting. I paired it with an iced matcha tea , which was refreshing and just right for a sunny Phoenix morning. A great spot for relaxed brunch vibes, great cocktails, and thoughtful food (outdoor seating too!). The service was friendly!

DOS with added pancake

This is a super cute spot for brunch or breakfast. Lots of families here and friends catching up. Very fast service. You order at the front and it comes out at your table. The pancake was just ok.. kind of mushy texture but the eggs, bacon and potatoes were great!

Vegan tacos

Quick service for such a busy brunch spot! Vegan tacos were delicious, but could have used a bit more flavor. High energy spot with lots of tables close together - great for making new friends or eavesdropping LOL

"DOS" plate

My mom and I came here for breakfast. A new place for us to try. The place is nice and modern. The service is good, not much of service. I mean you go in order your food first, they give you a table number, and they bring the food out to you. If you get drip coffee you go and serve yourself. That coffee (drip coffee) was weak, we didn't really care for it. The food was ok, I got "DOS" plate the potatoes were too big, and I got a pancake and that was too sweet. In other words the presentation was nice but didn't really care for the food. This place seemed good, seemed like a lot of people like it here but not a place for us.

So when you walk in you grab your tray or to go container and some tongs and then you can meander around a look at the goods before making your selection which you then get yourself. Everything looked so good I was practically drooling! After making my selection of an almond croissant and a coffee cronut I made my way up to the counter. I also ordered a korean iced milk coffee -- no idea what it was but sounded good! I took everything to go and when I got home I jumped right into the croissant -- it was almost as hard a rock! It tasted good but it also tasted a day old, which was very very disappointing! The coffee cronut was good too -- it had many layers and was very rich. The coffee cream on it was average -- just basically didn't taste as good as it looked. Unfortunately I can never get those calories back, LOL. The Korean iced milk coffee was good but honestly couldn't taste a difference from regular coffee. Overall the presentation was top notch but the actual tasting experience was less than average. Don't know how much I would go out of my way to come back -- unless I wanted to try one of their cakes.

Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.

For anyone planning a visit, please be aware that the wait times can be significant if you do not have a prior reservation. Fortunately, our large party of over 10 guests was able to utilize an indoor corner space to wait comfortably until our table was ready. Once we were seated, the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly patient and attentive while managing a table of our size. The food and beverage options were generally well-received, though there were a few minor details to note. One guest mentioned that the options for mimosa flights were somewhat limited. On the food side, my order of the Mexican Cowboy Bowl was excellent and prepared exactly as expected. While most of our group's orders were correct, one eggs Benedict arrived overcooked despite a specific request during ordering to avoid this. Given the size of our party, the guest chose to accept the dish rather than send it back. Billing Tip: For transparency, an automatic 20% gratuity was included in the final bill for our large group. I recommend double-checking your receipt to keep this in mind before adding any additional tips. Overall, it is a great brunch destination with quality dishes, but making a reservation ahead of time is highly advisable.
