This is the best optometrist I have ever seen. Dr. Tran was extremely personable, knowledgeable and wanted to give me the best options possible. I have never had such a positive experience, knowing that I am getting my eyes checked by someone who truly cares about them. He also gave me plenty of free samples (contacts and multiple boxes of different saline) to choose from to see which ones I like best. Definitely keeping this doctor. read more

Great doctors... One of the doctors is a contacts specialist. I thought I was never going to be able to wear contacts but he did a great job explaining things and finding the best fit for my eyes. Great atmosphere! Really friendly doctors and staff! read more

I found Eye-C-You on the list of providers for my daughter's insurance and found that they are located close by to her school. I was lucky I made my choice. Dr. Tran not only was very patient and informative, he explained everything and made my daughter's eye exam experience a pleasant one. In fact, she says this was the best exam ever and says she wishes he was a dentist too. :-) You can tell he really loves what he does, and works great with kids. The office was clean and easy to find, the selection of frames were great. I am very pleased with Eye-C-You and would recommend them to all my friends and family. I am going to get my next exam at this office as well. Dr. Tran, keep up the good work and thank you for today. read more

Dr.Tran is everything you're looking for in an optometrist; he's incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and truly cares about his patients. His desire to take care of his patients and do what's right for them shows as soon as your appointment starts. Dr. Tran doesn't rush with his patients, he takes the time to understand your concerns and takes the time to explain things to make sure you understand your situation. I would recommend Dr.Tran and his team to everyone! read more

I haven't gotten glasses or an eye exam in a very long time. I am happy to say this was the best experience I've ever had with the doctor and his staff. Dr. Tran was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and looking for every step of the exam. You can tell he's good at his practice and he actually likes to help people see better. His staff helped my husband and I both get the glasses/contacts we wanted. They also know their job incredibly well and are very friendly and easy to work with. I am sure we will be going there again when the time calls for it. read more

Made a yelp just to give them a 5 star review! They have gone above and beyond ever time I've bought glasses from them and both the Docs are amazing and really care about you having the best possible prescription. Could ask for more and well worth skipping the "convenience" of big chain stores read more

I see why this place gets so many 5 star ratings. The front staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Quran was funny, very informative and answered all my questions. Lastly, the selection of glasses and sunglasses is the best I've seen in Riverside. I will recommend Eye-C-You to everyone else in our District Office! read more

I went in for my appointment and waited maybe 10 minutes after being seated, I don't think that's too bad but I'm not often seeing doctors for anything. Everyone here is super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, and if they don't have the answer for you they find it! I went in with several pairs of glasses to fill my updated prescription with, and enjoyed their pricing for non-insured customers. I debated going to Costco but haven't heard good things, and I am fully satisfied with my decision to come here. They treated my glasses with care and gave me no issues about having so many pairs to fill that I didn't purchased from them. As I do a lot of online shopping for the best prices on frames, I appreciate them treating me the same way as a customer that is spending more with them. I even had them adjust many pairs that didn't sit right on my face, and they made them perfect and cleaned them up to boot (they are also quick to clean everything touched by customers due to COVID regulations, AWESOME). I will definitely be back! It's also great that they carry SALT glasses, as they are not easy to find in stores. read more

Dr. Tran is awesome! Very personable and informative. His staff is great too! He's now taking care of my whole family's vision needs. I came to him for a second opinion on a prescription I was having trouble with. The prescription was incorrect, he corrected it and explained why I was having all the issues I'd been having with the incorrect one. I see great now and I highly recommend him. read more

My friend referred me and I am glad she did. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I had an issue with getting used to a new type of lense and they were very willing to change them out so I was satisfied. They have an amazing selection of really stylish frames ranging from very affordable to designer. read more

Dr is great, staff is not. 1) I chose this office because they were a preferred provider for my vision coverage. I have had my ins for several years and have not ever been charged a co-pay for any portion of my exams. This was my first visit here and chose it for the convenience to my office. The individual who assisted me reviewed my benefits and assured me upon check-in that I had zero co-pay for my services; later another staff member told me on my way out that I had a co-pay for the contact fitting and then charged me almost $100, stating the other girl just didn't know. 2) Today I went to pick up the trial contacts that were supposed to be here last week only to find out they were back ordered and I was never notified. The staff got very pushy when I declined to purchase contacts or glasses through them and just asked for my rx's; they are much pricier than the warehouse stores where I normally purchase my contacts. 3) My eyeglass rx did not contain the Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement, so I asked the woman assisting me if she could quickly measure it, which I know takes less than 10 seconds; she asked if I was going to get my glasses from them, I said I wasn't sure, and she then said if I order glasses from them she would measure it but if I was not going to, then she would not measure it. She said a "general measurement" for most people was 30/30 and scribbled that on my rx!...very poor customer service by their optometry staff. read more

My hopes is that when others read some of these ridiculous reviews it does not turn them away from this establishment. The doctors and staff will go above and beyond to make sure clear vision and comfort are achieved. I have had many experiences with vision over the years, even recently Lasik. This office is one of the easiest to work with, and extremely helpful with insurance coverage. All confidence of product knowledge is given when it comes to difficult prescriptions. If timing is an issue, as with any eye place, rushed product may mean inaccuracy. I trust them fully and will continue to recommend anyone who asks! read more

Very professional and polite. They are very customer service oriented, which I appreciate, and professional. Very patient when I asked questions and took their time to explain anything I asked. read more

I had a great experience here. The people at the desks were friendly and helpful. The optometrist was down-to-earth, friendly and likable. He explained what he was doing as he was going, and made my experience enjoyable. This place has many selections for glasses that were nice. The place and atmosphere was nice too (clean and cool). I definitely recommend this place. Also, it's kid-friendly. read more

I love Dr. Tran! Been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Only complaint I have is every time I attempt to get something before work and they are suppose to be open the girl who works there will come strolling in 15 minutes after their opening time. read more

I'm a bit disappointed we have a 12oclock appointment and we came 30 minutes earlier to get all the paperwork done for my sons eye check. We wait patiently because there was someone ahead of us. Another patient shows up and we didn't think much about it till the doctor was done with the patient that was ahead of us then he calls in the other patient that showed up after us. They explain to us that the guy was there 11:30 appointment. We show up early to get here on time and get our paperwork done just to have someone that's an 11:30 be taking in at 12:30 and my appointment is at 12pm. That's very disappointing that's why we set appointment. They have a good customer service but I cant give them 5 stars because there not accurate with there appointments. The doctor is awesome that I will agree he is very patient with my son and helpful. read more

TL;DR- Very welcoming, very thorough. Awesome doctor (Dr. Quan). Answered all of my questions and had a lot of patience with me. Just go~! ^-^ I came in today, 4-4-15, in order to get some contacts, a pair of glasses, and a pair of sunglasses. Immediately as I entered into the building, I was greeted by the ladies at the front desk. Unfortunately, my memory isn't serving me well as of right now, so I cannot recall their names, but they were all very kind and welcoming. Yes, all of them. Not just one or two, all of them. I was checked in after signing a HIPAA agreement along with a postcard to myself. I thought that was considerate of them to have us address the postcard so that they may send it out. After signing in, one of the assistants from the front walked me over in order to get a reading on my eyes. That took a matter of a few seconds it seemed. I then sat in the waiting room for only about 5 minutes till I was next. Do keep in mind I came in on a Saturday at 1:30 PM. I was greeted by Dr. Quan and was escorted into the examination room. I appreciate how welcoming Dr. Quan was and the sense of humor that he has. He started off asking me about my experiences with wearing contacts, since that was the reason I was in. After the question, I was put through the basic lenses examination. If I may state, I appreciate it when an optometrist asks if lens one looks better than two rather than asking, does this one look better, or this one. After the exam, it came to my attention that one eye's prescription was higher than another. I happened to ask a lot of questions about glasses and such, and Dr. Quan was very helpful in answering everything I had asked. I felt bad because I knew I asked a lot, and it for sure took a lot longer than a typical eye exam appointment would be. Dr. Quan then observed the back of my eye and viewed the optic nerves. What had impressed me was the observation he had made. He asked about a certain eye condition and if it had any history within my family. I told him yes. Afterwards, he had explained a little bit about the condition and asked what other medical history my family member had in order to see the possible connection to the eye condition. All in all, I was very impressed. I appreciate it when my doctors go above and beyond what I expect them to do. He suggested two more examinations in order to have a clearer understanding of what could be going on along with helping document the information. I appreciate him giving me the option to determine if I wanted to get the other processes done, rather than forcing it on me. I had agreed to them, and also had a student shadowing during my appointment. Having shadowed a specialist at one point myself, I thought the establishment was definitely contributing to the knowledge of individuals who are interested in the field. I eventually picked out my glasses and sun glasses. Got the procedures all done, and was instructed to come back in a week later to see how my eyes are adjusting to the contacts. I would have to say this was the best optometry experience that I had ever had....ever. Dr. Quan was very considerate and very thorough with his examination. I felt much better walking out with the knowledge I had gained from my appointment. I will definitely be recommending this office to anyone searching for an optometrist. read more

After a rocky start they have been wonderful and really worked to get all the issues with my contacts corrected. One contact is perfect and they are working to get the other corrected. I truly appreciate all the time they have taken to get my contacts right. I wear the rigid lenses so they are much more difficult to fit than the soft lenses or I am sure I wouldn't have had any issues at all. read more
