I was introduced to Visionaire through a yelp event, leading me to book my annual eye appointment with them. Dr. Sana was very thorough and caring regarding my eye health and prescriptions for both my contacts and glasses, bringing to light issues that I had that I hadn't fully realized myself, including dry eyes from not closing my eyes all the way when I sleep! I've since been using optase eye drops and gel and it's been helping significantly. The staff is also incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to walk me through my insurance benefits in detail, helping me choose between two options I had (double insurance). A bonus is that there is also complementary tea/coffee while you wait, and they are actually tasty flavors! One thing to note that's a bit confusing is that their office is on the 3rd floor and to the right once you get off the elevator. read more

went here june 18th and had a good experience. i had forgotten about doing this review but their products have been impactful at first . i thought i was at the wrong place since the outside didn't show any signs but it's in a big building titled "riverside professional plaza" and on the second floor (203). all the staff seem kind and friendly. they were also all women while i was there which is a plus in my books. i love women supporting women. they answered all my questions and have recommendations, and let me know about their specials and all their services. all the steps were guided and i knew what to expect. i had an eye check done...very overdue. and they let me know my options. i also was able to tour the place and you can tell everything was intentional and made for you to be comfortable. Dr. Sana Shakil seems so genuine and kind! i love that she is a specialist for dry eyes. she is very knowledgeable and you can tell she does have a passion and gift for helping others. she was so kind. i went home with a few samples and one of them was optase "hylo relief" dry eye therapy drops which they sell in their little shop. i had never tried them but my eyes felt some relief. my grandma also suffers from eye problems and had itchy, dry eyes that were red. i used these on her and she felt such a relief that she still is telling me about it these days. it was night time but by the morning her eyes were cleared but and feeling better. thank you to whoever believes in this product and decided to give sample sizes! i'm so grateful. i am planning and coming back. read more

This place is not trustworthy, lack communication and integrity with incorrect documentation. I came in to this office in February, I needed a vision exam and added on the contact exam and to get my retina checked as well extra charge for both add ons. They placed the order for my glasses and scheduled 3 follow up appts. I received no document or text message/ email with any of my follow ups. 2 weeks later I still don't hear anything from them in regards to when my appts were, mind you the retina exam is a same day/ same result service it's been 2 weeks and nothing, my contacts at americas best contacts are within the next couple of days to a week. So I know that I should have heard something by then and I did not so I called in to see what had happened and they stated there was a system error and the appointment reminder never was sent. I had no idea I had apparently missed an appt for the week after. I asked why they did not call the following day or when they were going to call me to let me know I was supposed to go in. They said they would have called me within that following week, this would be week 3 since my original appt. I was not satisfied with their services and told them I did not want to continue with them because I could go somewhere else and get my results within the correct time frame and actually have them communicate with me. They stated they would have the Dr reach out to speak to me, and I told them I didn't want to speak to the Dr because regardless of the conversation I didn't want to continue services with them. They did not refund me but they called to let me know about my glasses, I came to pick them up and they didn't want to provide a full refund for my added services that I did not receive results for or the contact prescriptions that was never evaluated or prescribed. All I wanted was my money for the extra services I paid for that I did not receive. The manager Hilda was not friendly or accommodating, until I asked to speak to the Dr because they did not want to provide me with a full refund I asked for documentation and they had not documented that I no longer wanted to continue services with them. They documented what they wanted to only on the date I came in 4 weeks after the original. After about an hour of wasted time they decided to give me a full refund. I highlty recommend Visionaire Optometry Spa. Dr. Sana Shakil got my prescription just right, and along with Rosie, Reina, and the rest of the staff fitted me with glasses that actually work for me. I tried getting glasses before, and could not tolerate wearing them. I thourht I was the problem, but I just hadn't gone to the right optometrist. Dr. Shakil is the right optometrist. She is highly skilled, and has invested in excellent, modern equipment. I am very happy with my progressive lens glasses; I can see, and it didn't take any time for me to adjust to my new glasses. I liked them so much, I went back for progressive lens sun glasses. Those didn't work for me at first; so Rosie remeasured, and sent off for replacement glasses, which work perfectly at no further cost to me. I also saw Dr. Shakil for dry eyes, which I have had for years. She has done extra studies and gotten equipment and products to help with dry eyes. I have had 6 sessions and do have some improvement. In addition to needing fewer lubricating drops each day, my eyes look better. My lids and the areas around my eyes look and feel healthier. This is costly treatment, and I would say it has benefited me. If you can't spend the $$ for it, Dr. Shakil will still give advice, techniques, and education to help with dry eyes. I have noticed that Dr. Shakil likes to focus on the medical side of optometry. If I develop any other medical eye conditions, I will consult with her, as she does like to use her medical knowledge and skills. At each appointment, I feel like I am visiting friends. Dr. Shakil is friendly, sweet, and kind. She greets me by name, and we usually talk about food. The staff all greet me by name, and make me feel welcome. The prices seem standard and in line with other places (I checked). They do offer some packages and promotions that are competitive with the big name discount stores. I did not feel pressured or upsold at any time. This is a small, independently owned, small business. I am so happy that I can support this business while getting glasses and eye treatments that enhance and improve my life. This is a true review. Dr. Sana is amazing. She was wonderful in checking my eyes and letting me know how the health of my eyes are. I did not know to what extent my dry eyes have been, and due to her very thorough exam, I was able to find out I have pretty severe dryness. The tech took "x-rays" of my eyelids which showed the levels of my dryness which was really cool! The digital detox was also very nice -- the device somewhat massaged my eyes and gave warmth to them. I appreciate the time she takes to really examine the eyes, and I did not feel rushed. The frame selection I thought was maybe limited, but upon going through the options with Rosie the optician, there was quite an amount to choose from still. I actually really liked their Gucci and especially Tom Ford frames! Some really cute styles! They also give complimentary water and coffee, chocolate/candy. It's a nice clean office with modern equipment and the staff is very nice. However the contacts that I was directed towards turned out to be tripple the annual price that I paid for my last contacts. No one should really care if they have the newest technology in contacts... it's not like it's a iPhone or a new car.
