We were walking around Victoria Gardens after eating gelato and wondered into Sunglass Hut, mainly because I wanted to see the new Ray Ban Meta Displays. Walked in around 7 in the evening and was greeted by Verron who informed us that the only place that carries the new Ray Ban Meta Displays was Best Buy and you have to be fitted for it, you can't just walk in and buy a pair. In the meantime, we got to see the Oakley Meta's and the frames weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I was imagining the Oakley Meta Collab would be all face shields with chromatic iridescent lenses, but only one pair was like that and it wasn't in store. We started trying on different pairs of glasses to just to get a feel for what works and also what the latest styles were in frames. I was shocked at how many Ray Ban frames were literal throwbacks to the late 90's frames. We asked Verron what his picks were for stylish frames and he opened the vault door and lead us down to the super opulent V.I.P. show room. Well actually, he opened one of the mirrored walls, but it felt like we were having a V.I.P experience because he started opening random drawers and doors and pulling out different frames that were super stylish and that we had no idea about. We had the best time trying on frames with Verron and would DEFINITELY come back and seek him out for advice, but the store was closing so we had to end our fun hunt for the most fashionable glasses. If you're looking for something that fits you, go ask Verron to pull glasses for you and don't do it by yourself. You'll pick ugly glasses if you do. read more

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this needs to be shared. My family visited the Sunglass Hut in Rancho Cucamonga on December 22nd, planning to make a $2,500 purchase. While the assistant manager helping us were professional and helpful, another employee, Kalina or Kalia (she was hiding her name), completely ruined the experience. She spoke disrespectfully to my child and, when I asked her to direct any issues to the parents instead, she lost control, yelled, and used profanity in front of other customers. Even her coworkers could not calm her down. Her behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and unacceptable, and I hope management takes this seriously so no other families have to go through the same experience. read more

This place is trash. Pleasant experience purchasing. But I go to return the glasses because I found better ones. I bought gucci $400+ sunglasses November 15. Never dropped it. Always wore it and put it back in the case when I got home. I come back December 3 and spoke to a rep at 10am and he cleaned the glasses and said he can't give me a refund. This is the condition of the glasses that he told me he can't refund. This place is bs. I'll be back to talk to the manager. read more

Don't put your step in Sunglass Hut. I went to One in Macys at the Mall in Main. Bought a pair of Burberry sunglasses which were on discount. Drive back to Brea where I live and decided to try look over some additional pairs in Sunglass Hut. They flatly refused to accept the one I bought barely 3 hours ago saying they see scratches.( There were none)I contacted Macys Customer Service, no help there. I was told to go back to the location where I bought them from, Really? No where it's mentioned on the receipt? Macys shrugged their shoulders off with the fact that the receipt was from Macys. Absolutely horrible customer service when it comes to returns/exchange. I begged for Macys credit in exchange but no help there too. read more

I bought a pair of new sunglasses from Sunglass Hut using their promo code deal for members. 25% off seemed like a good deal for me, so I went ahead and placed an order online and selected the option to pick it up from a nearby store. I picked it up from the store in Victoria Gardens located next to Macy's Men. All good until... I walk into the store today 05/01/2023 and I was greeted by the rudest worker "AARON." His disrespectful nature is ridiculous and he is not so knowledgeable nor does he know anything about customer service. He took forever to find the my order and once he located my order 15 minutes later. He handed it to me with a careless attitude. I told him that I had paid $5 for a gift wrap, so he went in the back to give his boss a call. He came back out and started talking in a rude manner that this is not the store's problem that I was missing the gift wrapping and started claiming that he can do nothing about it in a very arrogant and rude way. He is such an awful person and made the experience of purchasing my sunglasses so bad. He didn't even try to acknowledge that he should provide the customer with good experience as should be expected. Instead he was saying all sorts of rude comments and started saying "I have been through this before. Who cares." "It happens all the time when I buy glasses from here" "I cannot do anything for you." "I cannot help you" bla bla bla. Tbh I cannot recall the rest of what he said but all I could say was he was SO SO RUDE! I would not recommend coming to this specific store unless you want to be treated like shit. Aaron needs to relearn customer service skills! Besides that, I picked the most gorgeous piece of Sunglasses from the brand Tiffany & Co. I am absolutely in love with the shape, style, color, and size. Also, the price is a great deal given that this is a new release on the Store's website. read more

Terrible customer service! I went in today to purchase a pair of sunglasses for my birthday. No one greeted me for 10 minutes. When someone did finally greet me, I had already picked out the style I wanted but had questions. They sales rep had a very come or go attitude. No real effort to secure my sale or to even help. Don't buy from this store every manager is on a different page. I bought glasses a year ago and the lenses melted in my bag. I explained this to the sales manager and he told me to bring them in and they'd be fixed. I live in Eastvale so I drove all the way back the next day. And the other manager told me she could not help me that it was not a manufactured issue and to call a number. ( a number that would probably charge me to fix something that shouldn't have broken! ). Then she tried to tell me it was scratched. You can literally tell it melted! That would have been okay if the other manager told me that the day before!! GET ON THE SAME PAGE AND LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Don't waste my time or yours. I won't make a purchase here and to think I was going to buy two more today! Ha. read more

Very rude customer service. Recently I bought a pair of Miu Miu glasses from them that was a defective pair. When I found out I went back and asked them for a return. The manager and the sales guy were so rude. First they didn't want to acknowledge it then when they did acknowledge that it was a defected pair and it was company's defect. They offered me an exchange only and offered me only half the credit and was very rude throughout and saying they are doing a favor. And given me no option but to choose something that same day in half the value what I paid. So I had to buy another pair of Miu Miu in a hurry since they were so critical and paid the additional price in balance. I ended up buying a pair in much double the price and the shape that don't even feel right for my face. Such a bad experience. read more

I needed to exchange Ray-Ban sunglasses I bought as a Birthday gift and went to multiple sunglass huts to see what our options were in a second pair. Came to the Victoria Gardens store bc was told it had the biggest selection. This was our absolute last stop for these glasses! Not only was Amber helpful and attentive, she made sure to put our second selection on hold for us without being asked as "we did our " let think about it "walk on what to do and seeing as she wasn't there upon our return, I assume her shift ended. Coming from customer service background, I found the extra effort and communication with other members of her team left a lasting impression.
