It's Oakley so quality is great for sure just wished the service side was a little better. I've had orders lost, wrong items ordered by staff, delays and I'm always met with unapologetic staff and a lack of care for the inconvenience. I've spent a lot of money here or glasses and warranties so just wish they treated returning clients better than they do. This Oakley Store is located at the Victoria Gardens Shopping Center, specifically a couple doors down from The Art of Shaving and L'occitane. When I came inside this store this afternoon with my husband, we were immediately greeted by Lee, the employee behind the counter. What brought us in today is the on going family & friends' sale (30% off all purchases, through April 1), so thought we would just browse to see if there is anything we would want. Now one thing I have to mention is that Oakley is wonderful at offering sunglasses and glasses frames (for prescription lenses) for those that may be lacking a nose bridge, Asians in particular.... this is why they have a particular "Asian Fit" line for this reason. Now being Asian, I have this problem when I wear glasses and sunglasses. Both will slip off my nose, which is quite annoying. With "Asian Fit" frames, the nose piece extends out a little bit further and may have an added nonslip grip on the nose and on the arms of the glasses. This particular location has a bigger selection of glasses and sunglasses than the location in Glendale (was just at that store yesterday) so I was more than happy to find a pair of sunglasses with the "Asian Fit" feature and decided to buy it (was originally $130, prior to tax, but came out to $91, prior to tax, with the family & friends' discount. My husband also decided to get a pair of sunglasses with polarized lenses. What is really neat about getting sunglasses at Oakley's, you can customize it to the colors you like. So my husband picked the frame style and color, lens color and the "O" sign on the side of the frames color as well. Customizing your sunglasses actually does not cost extra and the employee in the store can put it together for you right then and there (So you do not have to come back another time to pick them up). After the discount, my husband's sunglasses came out to $140 (prior to tax). Lee, the employee who took care of us, was very helpful and patient as my husband was deciding between a few different styles of sunglasses and colors. He gave my husband the attentive service and attention during our entire visit. He was also very easy to talk to and was excellent at answering our questions. Because of his service, I will more than likely come back to this particular location for my future Oakley in store purchases. read more

I bought some custom made sunglasses here in late December for over $200. But I also saw a jacket on sale for half off that I liked but wanted it in black. I asked the sales people and they promised to call me when they got it in. Three weeks later they still haven't called so I drive over and ask about it. they still had my particulars but didn't have the jacket. The girl at the counter said she could order the jacket. But when I asked about the sale price she said no deal. It's pretty bad customer service when they mess up and then refuse to clean up or even apologize after the fact. I could have gone to another store, and gotten the jacket at the sales price. Instead I trusted these guys and now they insist on full price. Two thumbs way down. read more

My husband and I went to this location today; both with the intention of purchasing sunglasses. We were approached by an employee who haphazardly directed us to sunglasses that I was interested in. He simply pointed in the direction of the glasses towers, but did not lead us there. After repeatedly asking this employee where EXACTLY the glasses were, he seemed too distracted with chumming it up with other male coworkers behind the register desk, as well as non-employee female subjects. This was extremely irritating, as we did not feel of high-priority for any employee present. It really would have been nice to have an engaging salesperson to assist us, rather than feeling like we were interrupting a tinder date. Needless to say, we left the store very unsatisfied with the unprofessionalism and poor service. read more

First of all I really like my new pair of Oakley's but, at the price of being double charged it wasn't the best experience I've had with Oakley. After showing the cashier my double charge right after the purchase, she informed me that I would need to wait and see if one was voided. If so, I would need to call back and they would be able to fix this. Oakley made quality sunglasses in the past and would replace frames-lifetime. Now there is a warranty qualification litmus triathlon to prove your glasses were not broken because of manufacturing. I dropped my oakleys three feet and the frame cracked: seems like bottom-dollar plastic to me. I remember when oakleys could be dropped from an airplane (literally--my extreme adventures tortured oakley products) and the frames would not break. Seems that Oakley and its shareholders may have succumbed to the "we must stay competitive in the current global economy" greed-based-propaganda. I am finished buying Oakley products for good! One other customer in the store. Never offered any help. I was trying different ones on, and no "can I help you find anything" at all.
