This was my first time ever visiting a Zara location, and it left a great first impression. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back. The store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga is clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. I appreciated how spacious and comfortable the layout felt, especially around the fitting rooms, which made shopping feel relaxed rather than overwhelming. Customer service truly stood out. One sales associate (whose name I unfortunately forgot, but I believe it started with an S or possibly a Z) was very patient, kind, and attentive. She picked out several items for me, walked with me to the dressing room, and stayed nearby organizing and putting away clothing so she could be available when I came out to show her what I was trying on. I never felt rushed, and she really took her time to help me feel confident in my choices. I'd also like to recognize Celine, who offered a few helpful styling suggestions as well. Because of the excellent service from both associates, I ended up purchasing several outfits. Overall, this was a very positive experience, and I'll absolutely be returning. What stood out to me was the kids department manager talking negatively about a sales associate in women's with curly hair and glasses. I love going to Zara for the kids clothes. My daughter loves their kids clothes so we stop in frequently. My husband and I were shopping in the women's area while the girls were upstairs. he speaks several languages and over heard the kids manager talking about the sales associate being unprofessional not wearing jacket and how ugly she looked. We both agreed it's a damn shame for a manager to be more concerned about a jacket and not how messy the store can look at times or how sometimes there is no one around to ask a question. Absolutely, disgusted by her behavior and attitude, that young lady is probably very hard working. People should watch what they say, you never know who speaks what language. read more

This one had the nerve to lie to my friend saying she told about their return policy at the time of purchase. Ma'am no you didn't; you rung me up and sent me right on my way with lack of wanting to even do your job entirely. But maybe she should be retrained to tell people of the policy at the time of purchase instead of lying and saying that you did. They really need to hire quality staff who actually want to work and assist customers in a nice manner. Sadly this is the only location in the IE and I only go there for their perfumes. Just like many other reviews I just read, this store is awful! None of the employees are nice nor helpful especially the managers. My review is specifically on Rutha, I do not believe she should be in customer service let alone be a manager. I received a perfume as a gift last week for my birthday, unfortunately it was the wrong one. I went in and explained that to her, I let her know that it was a gift and as soon as I opened the box I noticed it was the wrong one. I never even tried to spray it just wanted to exchange it for the right one. She said no, it was company policy, okay I can understand that but two things; 1- It was a birthday gift (I had text proof and she could have checked my ID to verify) so I didn't know that was the policy and 2- if you've ever been there you'd see almost all the perfume boxes are torn and opened, she came up with a vague, rude reply assuring she would not take my exchange and just began to ignore me. This was such an unprofessional way to handle that. Even if she wouldn't have done the exchange there's a proper way to speak to your customers. I loved shopping there but unfortunately I will no longer be supporting this business. I hope corporate reads this and starts to makes changes! read more

I was super excited to visit this store yesterday and was beyond disgusted and disappointed. This store is just as horrible as the employees that work there. First of all, the fitting rooms were hot, muggy and smelled of BO and designer imposters perfume. All of the employees there are MISERABLE!!! Not friendly, not kind, not helpful. Second, I went to buy a blouse and the employee (I did not catch her name, but she was the overweight Hispanic woman with the botched eyelash extensions) INSISTED that I give her my phone number or I couldn't buy anything in the store nor get a receipt! She asked "would you like a bag for 10 cents?" I replied with "No thank you I have a bag" She then said "you don't want a bag?" I again said "no thank you" I reluctantly gave my number to the store associate and when I received my text message receipt the employee CHARGED ME FOR A BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked by the store again on my way back to the car and saw this same employee flirting with the security guard at the door (this employee had long dark stringy hair and was wearing a white blouse that was wrinkled). The unprofessionalism runs rampant in this dump. Guess I'll have to go to the Arcadia location where the employees are friendlier and the fitting rooms are air conditioned. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed in their return/ exchange policy. I usually try things on in store so I've never had this issue, but I went in to exchange an outfit. Never worn, with tags because the pieces were too small. The associate told me I was 3 days outside of their exchange policy. I called customer service because like I told the associate, I don't want the money, I just wanted bigger sizes, and customer service said there was nothing that could be done. $125 wasted. This Zara location is AMAZING! Very neat and not messy at all (no unfolded clothes thrown around the store! The variety of the selection for clothes and even their quality is very nice and even their summer sales. Customer service is great cashier was nice and explained about the returns days I recommend this Zara location way heavier than other locations such as the one in SouthCoast. Their customer service is 0! I returned 520.00 in clothes on June 5. Zara's courier did not pick up from post office til June 18. According to Zara they are trying to find the box almost 7 weeks after I shipped it. The post office told me they picked up June 18 in an email. FYI..address on Zara returns is incomplete because their hired courier picks up at post office. I have sent them all my documents and their robot reps who speak from a script say no refund til we find your box. Not sure what my next steps are..I may contact PayPal and have them reach out idk! I usually purchase online but today went into the store to do a return and look at the items. I couldn't believe how rude everyone was. No one greets you, they don't make eye contact and when I went to make my purchase, no one in line but two people at the register talking, they finished their conversation before acknowledging me. The gentleman who rang up my clothes was rude and never looked at me. There were a lot of employees on the floor organizing their store, probably for an inspection but they need to do better. There were two separated lines very clearly marked 'Returns Only' and 'Purchases Only'. Two registers were open. One in front of returns, one in front of purchase. 'Returns' had 10 customers. 'Purchases' line was empty. I got there right after watching her ring a customer up. 'Purchases' cashier didn't greet me. She pretended I wasn't there. She began putting return clothes on hangars. I silently waited for her. At minimum, I thought she'd tell me she'd be with me in a minute, but no. I finally asked her if I was in the wrong line. No tone or anything, I was genuinely confused by her behavior. She responds by giving me an annoyed smile. She turns to the 'Returns' cashier and says "You want to take this one?" Then she walks away. Returns cashier makes me wait since she's doing returns for others. Returns girl ends up helping me but the whole process was a shit show. I feel really bad for my best friend. She's been waiting for 45 minutes now to make a return. There are only 2 registers downstairs working and an employee controlling traffic at the door. Thankfully the rain isn't pouring hard right now for people waiting outside . The store spaces out displays well for social distancing and masks are required. They really need help at the cash wrap. I notice every item not bought by the customer is being hung one by one on a rack while checking out the customer. As I'm writing this review the line is now as long as half the width of the first floor. Please supply your registers with a bin in the meantime to shorten the time it takes to wrap up. We're now at the 50 minute mark... just for a return. Workers are also defeated looking. I would be too. Other than this experience, store is big, clean, and organized with merchandise display. Tips: rain doesn't stop shoppers, don't come on the weekends. That sale also isn't worth it unless you're gonna keep your items. Be prepared to wait a long time for in store returns. read more

Walked in wasn't greeted at all. I was one of the first 3 people to get here. Picking up an online order no one was there to assist. I looked around a girl finally came from the back already appearing annoyed. Went to get my package I was attempting to open it to check it to make sure the size and item was correct. Fast forward I get home to try it on it has 3 HUGE holes by the shoulder. The value of Zara's clothing is questionable. Although I know it's not totally their fault I should have checked before I left. But why are we packing clothes that are damaged like seriously come on. I come here often bc it's the closest Zara to me, but some of the employees here are excruciatingly painful to deal with. I once witnessed an employee mouthing off to a customer and laughing while another employee apologized to us for the customer (who was not acting unreasonably given the employee's behavior), when we were more embarrassed by her trashy friend's mouth. I've worked in customer service and part of it is to be able to keep it cute and hold your tongue. Had another situation here recently with a different employee who was younger and probably a recent hire (so that's understandable) and I eventually had my problem resolved by the manager, but please start hiring people with a tiny sliver of customer service and basic problem solving cuz dealing with her was like talking to a wall. read more

Honestly Zara is Zara I freaking love the brand! However, my experience with the customer service and some employees is more than terrible. I was at the store this morning trying to make a return of some pants that I bought. However, they would not accept my return because there was no inside tags. Something that I had no hands in. I just had my external tags and receipt and they would not accept my return. Understandable but the way they dealt with the situation was very inappropriate and not nice of them. Especially the manager of this store who desperately needs to be replaced. Does not deserve his job. He is the rudest person I have seen in my entire life.
