I almost don't want to write this review so I can gatekeep them but it was too good not to share. Recommended from my boyfriend and his family who have been going here since childhood. Each time I have gone in has been great. No complaints. The staff here really care about you and will treat you with respect and more than just a number. I've gone to too many places where it is noticeable they don't care about you or your eyes, just money. This place is not one of them. Every time I've gone in, the staff are chatting with customers asking about their kids/their families. You can tell this place has regulars and that's a green flag in my book. Dr. Everitt is amazing. I went in for new glasses and to try on contacts. I have been trying to find my perfect pair of contacts for the past 3 years. Other optometrists I've been to said my migraines were normal or made excuses for the blurriness by saying "my vision will never be perfect again like it was before I started wearing glasses". Dr. Everitt was the only one who listened to my concerns and tried different options to see which contact prescription and brand works for my eyes. No headaches when I wear contacts and it feels like I'm not wearing anything at all! She is amazing! I also want to give a quick shoutout to the staff who are all so nice and caring. Most recently Desiree and Emily who helped me order contacts and then also gave me some trial contacts to use because my order would not get here in time for my vacation. Thank you! read more

We've been patients at 20/20 Vision for nearly 20 years, watching it grow from a small practice to a larger establishment. Dr. Everette is exceptional--she's the best! However, my recent experience with the staff has been quite frustrating. My son went in on February 27th for new glasses, and here we are in April with still no glasses. The excuse given was that they have a new lab and his high prescription takes longer. While I understand that some prescriptions require extra time, we've used Costco for his glasses before, and they had them ready in just a week. Waiting almost two months for glasses is unacceptable, especially when we've never waited this long before. The estimated arrival date is now April 21st, which feels excessive. I've heard that the practice is under new management, which might be contributing to these service delays. While I appreciate Dr. Everette's care, the inefficiencies and lack of communication from the staff have been disappointing. As long-time patients, we expect better service, especially considering the costs associated with our glasses. I hope 20/20 Vision can address these staff issues and improve the overall experience for their patients. read more

I'm not happy with the service. The manager in the eyeglasses department told me she would give me 50 percent discount on glasses. I called a few months later to hopefully order a pair The manager didn't write any notes about our conversation. The reason for the discount was because a billing error that cost me close to 1800 out of pocket. This used to be my favorite place to go. But now it's like any other. I'm a new patient at this facility. ​The Good: I really appreciate that this office is open on Saturdays with a full staff, which is incredibly convenient. The office space itself is large, clean, and well-maintained, and they have a wide variety of frames to choose from for those who wear glasses. I also have to highlight that Dr. Ahmadzada is amazing: he is thorough, and his bedside manner is truly outstanding and kind. ​The Not-So-Good: Although the staff is friendly, my experience with the billing and insurance side of things was very frustrating. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 30 years due to an eye disease that makes them medically necessary; as I am not a candidate for corrective surgery. ​Following a slight change in my prescription, I was provided with a pair of trial contacts and asked to return for a follow-up. The appointment went well, but after waiting at least 1/2 hour, I was told that the doctor had determined the contacts were not "medically necessary." As a result, I ended up paying more out-of-pocket for my contacts than I ever have before. I was frustrated so I just paid it. They did give me a rebate, so I guess that will bring down some of the cost once I get my contacts. ​While I love the care provided, the communication disconnect, administrative and billing process left a lot to be desired. read more

My family and I have been patients here for well over 10 years. Few days ago I wanted to order contacts for my daughter. The price we were quoted was so outrageous that I thought I was being pranked. When I asked about the pricing I was told it was only $10 more than the last time we ordered, which was a lie. I decided to leave and search online. I literally paid $250 less online than ordering at this place. This office went through a nice renovation a while back, guess I know how they're trying to recoup the funds. Good people are hard to come by so my family followed Jaime from one Optometry office to this one and we've been taken care of for years now. Day and night comparison to the treatment we receive and the options we have access to with frames. While I definitely enjoy going in randomly just to have Jaime clean my glasses and make sure they are set just right, the other thing I appreciate very much is that when I walk in the door the rest of the staff is friendly, prompt and I never feel like I'm just a paycheck to the company. Terrible experience and will not be returning to this business. I came for an adjustment on glasses I bought from here because my frames were starting to feel a little too tight. Instead I left with broken frames and having to pay out of pocket for new ones just to be able to drive back home. The older Hispanic Technician only offered 10% off on frames and basically shrugged saying I was out of luck. This was their mistake and they had the opportunity to make it right and failed. I complained and the manager who never appeared infront of me offered 30% off. I still had to buy the frames. I thanked the technician despite the incident and was met with a cold shoulder, not even an apology or acknowledgement that I was speaking to him. Terrible customer service. Terrible outcome. I will say the optometrist and eye exams are great but will be taking my future eye care elsewhere. read more

I have been coming to this optometrist for about 6 years now no matter how far I live I make the trip to come here for my eye wear needs. I first heard about them because they have yearly trunk shows (not this year because of covid) but they have hundreds of if not more of great options everything from Dolce Gabbana, jimmy choo, Versace, fendi, Chloe, ray-ban, Calvin Klein, Dior and the list goes on to sporty glasses, granny glasses what ever your looking for I'm sure you can find it. I have purchased both prescription sunglasses and regular prescription glasses over the years. The upstairs of the building is all testing and that kind of stuff full of state of the art equipment. The offices are very clean and now with Covid -19 even more so. Everyone that I have came across has been very polite and helpful I have zero complaints. I have changed insurance s few times over the years and my insurance has always been accepted there. I would definitely recommend to check it out for what ever your eye needs are. read more

Eyeballs. You don't appreciate them until one day you discover they are no longer the spectacular 20-20 organs of our early years. And then, vanity takes over. How far will my arm stretch so I can still deny my age induced blindness? Answer: not far enough. Or should I do contacts? Or how about some bedazzling, winged granny glasses that slip down the nose. Choices... I tried on glasses at my Kaiser facility. Cool. Pricey. Not anything that made me froth at the mouth. Keep looking, Wendy. I shopped online. Some sites did a virtual try-on feature after you downloaded your mugshot. Nope. Suspiciously artificial. Other online sites offered to send up to 5 frames for you to try on in the comfort if your home. Ok I guess, but I am not one of those people that loves repacking and sending things back. Besides, I fall into the instant gratification camp. Try it on, and at least 10 others, before deciding. So, 20/20 carried a brand that I was attracted to online. Good enough, I set up an appointment by phone. And in these days of Covid and social distancing, the challenges are...er...challenging. By appointment only. But, my phone call was rewarded. They took me in the very next day (something I could not have had if I booked using their online booking, btw). The office is sleek. The entrance was, no doubt, modified to accommodate the "new rules", including hand sanitizer everywhere. Very clean, streamlined, friendly. Glasses in pretty display cases, boutique style. My only misgiving was, I was not allowed to wander and window shop. I had to tell my assistant what I might be interested in, and she shopped for me. Meanwhile, I was told to sit in a chair, my neck craning, trying to peek, as she controlled my destiny. Boy, is it hard to give up control! And in all honesty, this was why I rated them at 4 stars. At my Kaiser, I was allowed to wander. The rules they set were, if you touched the frames, they were instantly quarantined into a small box you carried with you, and sterilized before being put back on the shelf. I still prefer that. But these were 20/20's rules, so I must respect that. So back to the 20/20 shopping experience. Bottom line, the glasses I came in for were lackluster, once I tried them on. See?!? But she had brought more out, and one actually tickled my fancy. It was not one I would have picked for myself. But like it, I did. And so this little business became the beneficiaries of my moderately-frivolous eyewear budget. Maybe just a smidge more $$ than I expected, but with discounts and insurance, it was still in the ballpark. Ordering was a breeze. The wait, not too bad. They were ready for pick up in 10 business days. Snap! Looked even better than I remembered, colorful, subtle cat eye frames and embedded Swarovski crystals and all. Playful. Who-da thought? My wife had an appointment and Erlinda treated her like an idiot. Her bedside manner was atrocious. I could list at least 10 things Erlinda did to disrespect my wife. Such mixed feelings. I came to this optometry clinic for the first time this year. Prior to this location I had been going to the same optometrist since high school/well over 15 years. My old optometrist was okay but I felt he wasn't really listening to me these last couple of years when I said I was getting headaches and felt my prescription was probably not right - hence coming to 20/20 vision. First, based on reviews I booked an appointment in advance online for Dr Everitt. She was pretty solidly book and it forecasted availability for her about a month out. Day of my appointment and I show up. First you start by waiting on the 1st floor and then someone comes and gets you and your taken to whichever optometrist you booked on the 2nd floor. They had me do about 4 or 5 machine tests prior to seeing the doctor. So my exams was actually conducted by a doctor trainee who was nice enough and I believe did a good job. Then Everett came in and did an explanation of all my results. Things I learned about myself that my other eye doctor did not tell me was that I had a slight stigmatism in one eye and a small mass/dot floater that needed to be kept an eye on. Sure enough my prescriptions was also stronger then what my old doctor had prescribed. So why the 3 stars and not 5? The actual part where I get my contacts and glasses. The contacts were spot on, no problems, and they gave me enough samples to get me by until my new contacts came in. The glasses however!!!! Ughhhh what an awful process and conclusion. The first time I got called in to pick up my glasses I literally did a u-turn in the parking lot and brought them back in because they were so blurry in my left eye. They rescheduled me 3 weeks later for a redo on my eye exam which I was confused about since my contact prescription was perfect. Well Everitt redid the exam, came to the same prescription, and ultimately found out it was because of where the glasses sat on my face/they were creating a prism. So back downstairs I went and they marked where my pupil was for the glasses and sent them out to be fixed. I picked up my glasses for the second time today. Not as blurry as last time but still blurry. It's awful. Contacts are like looking through a clear beautiful window. Glasses are like looking through a light haze. It's driving me crazy. I probably will hardly wear these glasses but at this point I'm not trying to come back a 3rd time to see why these are not right. Thank god my insurance covered these glasses 100% or I would be crying over what a waste of money. read more

I left work early for my appointment just for the rude receptionist to tell me I made my appointment for Wednesday and that Dr. Kennedy is all booked up for the day. I didn't think I took a screenshot of my appointment so I rescheduled and left. Later to find out, I took a screenshot of my Thursday August 25 at 12pm appointment and the rude receptionist just turned me away for no good reason. Would not recommend. I had my third visit yesterday to 2020 Vision, they are very professional, friendly & care about your needs and wants. I also had my exam there and I loved the doctor. She was very through and a pleasure to see. They have a wonderful selection of frames, from low to high in cost. They do offer cash discounts and accept insurance. I have four pairs of glasses and I love each and everyone of them, thank you all for always welcoming me when I drop in for adjustments because I'm in the area, the little things like that really help my schedule this is definitely a plus for me. 2020 Vision is definitely my new eyewear company! read more

Thank you 20-20 Vision for your "canned" response to my Yelp Review. If you took the time to read the review your Office Manager "Will Not" return my calls. First off Dr.Everett is the best. Have been coming to 20-20 Vision for 15 years. If I could leave 5-stars for the doctor I would. My husband & I came for our eye exam in May. We both ordered prescription sunglasses. My husband's sunglasses took two months to come in. They were on back order & nobody at 20-20 checked on the delay. I called & the tech said they were on back order. If I would have known it was going to be two months I would have chosen another brand. I also ordered Maui Jim sunglasses for myself. The sample pair I tried on had a gold tint. The technician said they got a new system & gold was not on the drop-down choice. She noted it on the prescription to the lab to use the gold tint. My glasses took 14 days to come in. When I came to pick them up they had silver tint & not the gold. They said their lab messed up the order & that they would expedite the prescription. As of today a month later I have not had a call as to where my sunglasses are. I called & spoke to three different people. They tracked my glasses & are supposed to be shipping today. Their customer service is the worst. I asked at least four times for their office manager to call me back. No reply. We will definitely come back for our check up with Dr. Everett but will go elsewhere to get our prescription filled. They really need to step it up in their customer service or loose a lot of clients. read more

I have a 10am appt recieved a text to confirm my appt the day before and I confirmed the appt. The say of appt at 8am I recieve a text reminding me off my 10am appt. Then 15 min before arriving to my appointment I see a missed call saying my appt has been moved till 1040am. Come in office for my 10 am appt and check in. I see later appts going before me and I finally ask why everyone else is going before me when I had a 10am appt. She tells me that my appt has been moved till 1040 because they had a cancelation. How is that when I had a appt for 10am and just got a reminder for it at 8am. Here it is 1055 am and im still waiting to be seen. read more

But unfortunately No. Someone finally called my name and asked me what I was there for? I guess Sign In sheet isn't something they keep track of ...since there was a new blank one, ready to go for the next day. I waited 25 min just to pick up contacts. And there was only 1 other customer there. 20/20 vision is not the same. I'm sorry to say that I will not be returning even though Dr. Everitt is so nice. read more

Update to my last review. The manager called me back and we discussed the issues. She said she couldn't adjust the amount on my glasses, because it can look like insurance fraud, but can give me a credit of course to use towards their products. I don't understand why I couldn't be reimbursed in a form of a check or something. Anyway I called to check status on our glasses and they will not be available for possibly another week, after we were told they will expedite our request. I do not recommend this place at all. Went in here last week thursday for my first appt, Dr. Eugene kim was the best! I've had a lot of previous eye doctors who had a hard time giving me prescription or most of my glasses wasn't the best to use and it was off. Dr. Kim took his time to make sure that he got my prescription correct and that it will be comfortable for me! He even explained my case and given me a lot of pictures and visual images so i'm able to understand them in a not so much medical term way lol None of my previous eye doctors have ever explained in so much detail my condition to me before. I wish I never went here. The eye exam was great, other than that I regret everything about coming here. The service for picking out glasses was slow and unhelpful; they weren't friendly at all. It also takes way longer than it really should. After picking out a pair of glasses and sunglasses, it has been almost 6 weeks and I still haven't received my sunglasses and with no communications as to why. They stated that it takes 7-10 business days. Three weeks was okay, 4 weeks was pushing it and now I am just so frustrated at almost 6 weeks. I wish I could just get my $650 back. I spent the same amount of money here as I would have spent at LensCrafters and have gotten my glasses the same week. They never answer their phone, and they don't return messages either. This place is ridiculous and quite frankly a rip off. I don't recommend going here unless you only need an eye exam. read more

This was our first time using 20/20 after spending many years at another local optometrist. I was so impressed by the care and courtesy during our entire visit. The health and safety protocols are exceptional, the staff was very friendly and informative, and Dr. Everitt gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had in 40 years- uncovering a new issue that went undiagnosed after 15 years with our previous Dr. The selection of eye wear is vast- as much choice if not more than any large mall store, and the specialist who fit my glasses and helped me pick out frames was very knowledgeable and honest in her opinions, which I appreciate. I truly appreciate Dr. Everett's patience with me during my eye exam! I have issues that make a simple exam turn into time intensive testing. Not once did I sense an urgency for completion. We actually had a great time with some fun laughs. Dr. Everett then gave me trial contacts with two different corrections so that I could test each one determine which worked best for me prior to ordering. Once my decision was made I placed my order, and within two days my contacts arrived. Richard helped me with kindness and patience as I chose my glasses. Because of the strength of my correction I was extremely thankful for his expertise in this area. From the moment we entered the building to the time we left we were served by friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend 20/20 Vision to anyone looking for excellence, knowledge, and professionalism. One final shout out to 20/20 is for their generosity. My adult daughter recently came to California from Tennessee for ten days. She also wears corrective daily contact lenses. Somehow she managed to forget to pack them. She called her optometrist, who then called her prescription in to 20/20 Vision. Within an hour 20/20 Vision notified her that she could come in for some contact lenses. As always the staff here are very professional and helpful at every turn. The precautions for COVID-19 made me feel very safe. Shopping for frames online first was very helpful. Dr Everitt is so persistent in figuring out the odd things with my eyes. I was having probelms with depth perception and aim. She's worked with me for years getting my eyes to work together.
