Since 2018 we have been with Dr Domínguez and his team; we have only received excellent, professional and caring services. Our fears were allayed immediately, and time and time again Dr Domínguez' expertise in optometry has been demonstrated. I had my first visit here yesterday and I was very happy with my experience. The optometrist and staff are very friendly and kind, and made sure I was comfortable. The facility is very nice and clean. The optometrist made me feel very comfortable as he has a very calm and soothing presence. He explained every step and was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was overall very pleasant. They have several opticians and my optician was so sweet and she really knew her stuff! She was very patient with me as I tried on several different glasses and didn't make me feel rushed at all. We had many good laughs which I really appreciated. The receptionists are very welcoming and friendly. The exam feels very thorough and not rushed at all. The optician does a great job of making you feel comfortable and explaining all the different steps, machines, etc. The exam with the doctor is also very relaxed, in-depth and comfortable. He explained the results from the earlier tests the optician and took the time to show me pictures and graphs of my eyes. He was very personable and I felt like he took his time making sure I knew what he was doing and why. He seemed to care about my well-being and the health of my eyes. 1st time customer. I'm disappointed with my experience. I did some research and booked an appt because I was running out of daily contacts and needed an updated prescription. During my appt, I was told there was an extra charge to be seen for a contacts prescription. The lady wouldn't give me a price at first. Long story short, I paid $40 to get a contact prescription. I never tried on any contacts, was fitted for contacts, got trial contacts and the doctor never viewed contact lenses on my eyes. So I paid $40 for a prescription that I thought was included in an eye exam. The doctor was really great and thorough. He recommended allergy eyedrops. When I checked out, the girl did not follow up on this or give me the name of the drops recommended. The doctor actually ordered prescription eye drops and they had to call back to figure out how I was going to obtain the prescription. I've paid a fee for a contact fitting at the eye doctor before... but this was for an actual fitting, where I tried multiple types of contacts, got trial pairs, and the doc looked how they fit my eye. At this place, none of that happened. I'm really disappointed that I had to pay for a contact prescription (in addition to the co-pay from my insurance for the eye ). Also I'm disappointed that the the antibiotic eye drops and allergy eye drops weren't reviewed during my checkout process, so I had to call back to receive that information. The lady was more interested in selling me contacts. The doctor was great, but the experience and $40 for a contact prescription wasn't great. Typically an eye exam includes a glasses and contacts prescription.... There can be an up charge for a contact fitting. But that didn't happen today. read more

DON'T GET GOUGED! Took a pair of glasses they had put lenses in two years earlier and asked them to replace with the same. They checked the record, asked to confirm everything, charged my card and i left. A day later they called and said i need to pay $57 more since they made a mistake in type of lens. I then received the response below, went back to the store only to be given my glasses back by the assistant manger of the store and nothing else. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I've been to many optometrists in my time and I know it's pricey, but even then I felt they did take a bit of advantage there. Pros: Easy to set up an online Digital booking and forms fill out Doctors are really insightful and easy to talk to Takes a wide variety of insurance Cons: Kind of not a good fit if you want to have the flexibility to buy your glasses online. Their selection is not our taste and we had to ask multiple times for specific measurements beyond prescriptions to buy glasses online. My husband had to go back and pay $10 for the measurements and when I asked 3 or 4x for these measurements during my appointment, they still did not measure me but kept a saying they something along the lines of not all glasses styles require it. They gave me "approximations" from the machine and did not add the details to the prescription form but to a post it. I may or may not return because of this, it makes me feel less empowered as a consumer. But this likely is very unique to those who want the flexibility of buying online for a wide array of fashionable pairs. read more

My vision had been declining for years without a diagnosis. I am so grateful to their team. I have worn corrective lenses since I was 10 and then at 40 years old got Lasik. I was recommended by my ophthalmologist to go to see Dr. Dominguez after I had complained about a bad prescription that made my vision blurry and gave me headaches. Once I went to Dr. Dominguez, he was able to correct my vision so that I can see at the highest level possible. He is very knowledgeable, kind and also a perfectionist at what he does. We've been coming here for years and they are always very helpful, both with the eye exam and picking out frames. They aren't pushy on upsells and are very clear with what they charge and what any insurance you may have will cover. The lenses come with a 2 year anything-goes coverage. So when my wife was getting some new glasses, the optician looked at my current glasses and, after conferring with the Dr, came back to recommend replacing my lenses at no cost. The only (minor) issue is that the replacement lenses take an incredibly long time to get back. New frames/glasses my wife ordered, arrived in two weeks, but my lenses are still being worked on. But, for free replacement lenses, at no cost to me whatsoever, I'm good waiting a few more weeks. And, I didn't have to give up my glasses while they made the lenses! I mention the lenses taking a long time to replace, however, because if one was to really mess up their lenses to the point they can't be used, waiting 6-8 weeks for the replacement lenses my be problematic. Thanks to Yelp, I found my optometrist! I have neglected to get my eyes checked for a good 8 years and was experiencing eye fatigue and trouble seeing farther away, so I thought it was time to get a checkup. Their office is beautiful, clean and modern and they follow Covid protocols. They ask that you text them when you arrive and they let you know when to come in. There was one other patient in the waiting area when I came in and we were spaced apart. The intake gal was very nice though I don't recall her name. I saw Dr. Dominguez- very nice and patient! I am a fan of not feeling rushed or like just another patient to get through when visiting doctor's offices. I was able to select my frames there and I pick them up in 2 weeks!
