In contrast, my mom recently used a different moving company and they showed up late, high, and moved incredibly slow because they were charging by the hour (they kept stopping to get in their phones). Called Costco, they called the delivery company and were told that it wasn't delivered due to weather... it was in the 70's, clear and sunny. Rescheduled for delivery to the 18th from 10:45-12:45... again no show this time they told Costco due to the safe being damaged. Rescheduled again for the 24th, safe finally shows up but the safe was damaged in transit. They rushed it into my home and ended up damaging my wood floors. When I spoke to the delivery guy he told me it wasn't his problem, "we don't fix floors. You have to deal with Costco" I would never recommend this company for any moving service and I strongly recommend Costco stop using them due to their lack of professionalism, care for your item and your home.

I initially left a positive review, but after reflecting on my experience, I feel it's important to…read moreupdate it. I hired this company last minute, and while the movers showed up and completed a walkthrough, I was not properly informed about the capacity limitations of the truck. After reviewing all of my belongings--including items in the garage--the mover later stated that everything would not fit and that a second day of moving would be required. This lack of upfront communication caused significant inconvenience and additional costs. Because everything was not moved out in one day, my apartment charged me for an extra day of rent, and I also had to pay for a second day of moving services. Had I been informed ahead of time that the truck would not accommodate everything, I would have either rescheduled, arranged for a larger truck, or made proper accommodations with my apartment. Unfortunately, this situation felt avoidable and left me feeling that the situation was not handled transparently.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I hired them expecting professional…read moreservice, but what I got was a complete breakdown in logistics and a total lack of respect for my property. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company... that is unless you love broken furniture and terrible/non-existent customer service! The company showed up understaffed with fewer workers than we'd contractually agreed to. They didn't send the number of workers promised, which made the entire process slow, disorganized, and ultimately dangerous for my belongings. From the moment they showed up we contacted the company to address the concerns, but given we had everything scheduled logistically to be gone from our house that day, we had no option but to move forward with the smaller worker crew that showed up. Long story short, we wasted twice as long as it should have taken to get everything done due to the lack of movers. And in the process, they managed to completely break some brand new furniture in the process. It was broken so badly that they just threw it away. BUT THE WORST PART IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE: The "screw-ups" during the move were bad enough, but the aftermath has been even worse. Trying to resolve the damage and the contract breach has been a nightmare. Their customer service is dismissive and completely unwilling to take accountability for their failures. Even today, they were supposed to connect me with their claims manager (after about 5 phone calls and 5 emails), yet failed to do so as they said they would. It's clear they care more about booking jobs than actually fulfilling their contractual obligations or protecting your home. I've had to spend my own time drafting emails and fighting just to get a response regarding the property they destroyed. Do not believe the hype. They are understaffed, they break your furniture, and they will leave you hanging when it comes time to make it right. STAY AWAY.
