I had no complaints at first, but I've had stuff stolen out of my unit multiple times until I put an additional lock on (one that StaxUp didn't provide). Now I'm finding out it's an issue across the entire complex, and other tenants have had rodent issues as well! The price for our unit has ballooned up to $359.00 a month as well. The person that helped us was a nice guy and the price was good when we moved in. BUT. It's been 2 years now and this year, our unit and the whole area near us got broken into. Thankfully, from what I could tell nothing was stolen. They soon added keypad locks to the doors which was good. We are moving out now because the price has raised multiple times in the last year and I found somewhere better prices and better amenities. Also saw reviews about rats. I believe the guy who helped us was named Kevin. Saturday my mom and I went to look at a small unit that I need while waiting for my new apartment to be ready. I originally chose this facility because I have used them before and not only are their prices fair but the lot is always clean and the security measures they have taken reassure me that my belongings are very well looked after. My mom was the one booking the unit and Kevin was very patient and explained all the pricing and options to us and about the insurance they offer or the option to use her home owners insurance instead. He helped us figure out how to pull it up on her phone and got us all situated with a lock and our gate code to get in. One of my favorite parts about this facility is that they not only have a gate which can be entered by code OR using an app but each indoor unit is now behind a door that has a code to access the building so that not just anyone can get in and out. I highly recommend checking this place out for your storage needs big or small!! read more

My Fiancée and I went to our storage unit to put away some items and right away my fiancée and I noticed one of our boxes was open. My first thought it was rats. But when I came back with a flashlight my fiancée stated we were robbed and items pulled from boxes. We spoke with other unit owners and they said they were stolen from as well and not the 1st time. WHAT IS GOING ON?!? If you haven't checked your unit in a while I recommend going to check and count your items. I also noticed cameras are pointing up at certain parts of the strange property and one of the works said no they are not. I don't know but place is sketch. Rent with caution. read more

DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR MONEY AND NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS. The customer service here is awful. Life hit us, and we were a little behind (one month) on our unit. We stayed in communication with multiple members of the team for the payment, and when it came to pay it, they charged a bunch of fees. When I tried to explain things to Kevin Morales in the office, he kept cutting me off and would not let me speak even after I asked several times to stop cutting me off and talking over me. He told me they do not honor any "verbal agreements" made and that they will charge these things as they see fit even though some of the charges were not on the notice they gave us literally a week ago. So I paid all the fees yesterday (including the extra 27% in fees) and asked for a manager to call me back to discuss the issue. Then this morning we received a notice that they increased our rental rate 25%. This complete lack of care for their customer is atrocious, and I'm going to be putting this review everywhere to warn everyone of this game they play. Very clear their bottom line is more important than their customers so pick somewhere else to store your things where they care about you not just your money. read more

The customer service from Hector who was filling in at this location is horrible!! I spoke to Matthew and he told me that he had a drive up unit that was $104 a month with 1 month free. When Hector called today he said that is not true and there's nothing I can do about it. His grammar and demeanor was terrible! I will hopefully be able to cancel our truck rental and make other arrangements. I'm glad I didn't show up tomorrow with a full truck. P.S. Customer service was great when I first inquired and moved in but that changed shortly after. I was guaranteed no rate change for 12 months but after 3 months of moving into a storage unit I received a rate increase email and continue to every month. I had emailed but no response I had to call in order to get assistance and was told that they would try to make sure it doesn't happen. Well, it kept happening, my monthly bill keeps getting invoiced with increases in my rate and no one responses to my emails until I request to end my lease. What' can I say about Jessica? She is all about customer service. She saw that I was in tears over our car breaking down before the transport showed up. Not to mention we had to pull out half of our storage unit and re put it all back, put a broken car in And get another storage unit to be safe. I returned my Uhaul truck here 30 mins before the end of my rental period and the gentleman at the desk said that after I gave him my keys that was everything. Little did I know that he would mark my return time 45 minutes later so I got charged an extra day. There was no one else at the facility on a Friday afternoon so I find it completely unacceptable that I now have to dispute charges with Uhaul because of this employee's laziness. read more

Super-friendly and ultra-efficient service. It's been a pleasure doing business with them for the last two years. I suggest paying for your unit in either 6 or 12-month blocks. You end up saving a huge chunk of money by doing so. They also provide a moving truck if you rent out the largest unit. The office is open from 8a - 5p while the gates stay open til 7p. I have multiple units & rodents are a huge problem in the climate controlled units. Not to mention, I've come & the air conditioning unit hasn't been on & it's hot outside today. Ive also come in the winter & the heat wasn't on those few times. For the price that I pay for 2 large climate controlled units this place doesn't seem to have good standards or business professional that are higher up & care about what's going on in the area. I've sent 2 separate emails, one in Dec2019 & one in April2020 with photos attached showing rodent feces in my unit & bldg & have made phone calls to managers but still no one has contacted me personal to try to remedy this problem. I also have had a problem with billing & getting the units started on autopay, for the first few months. Nothing but headaches. read more

This is my first time using a storage service and Chris and Rick were very helpful. They were both patient explaining the process and rules and regulations. Their facility is well run, clean, and easy to use. Chris and Rick both gave outstanding customer service and were patient and very helpful. A bonus is that this facility lets you use a big truck to help move your items in for no charge ( based upon availability ). This saves you anywhere from $35 to $65 on a truck rental and made the whole process much easier. You will also like that the units are level to the ground making it very easy to move your items from the truck to the storage unit. Chris and Rick go out of their way to help you. I had trouble moving and did not allocate enough time for the move before closing hours. Rick allowed me to finish moving as long as I locked up the truck. This was a tremendous favor and help and much appreciated. I was very tired at the end of the day and running out of steam and I don't know what I would have done if Rick hadnt made the accomodation for me. I highly recommend Staxup Storage in Murrieta on Las Brisas. Call Chris or Rick and they will help answer all your questions. A great experience during a difficult and stressful time. Highest recommendation. Storage units look new and are very clean. They also price match so shop around and bring the business card of other storage companies with their prices and they will price match. read more
