We had a great experience at Silverhawk Self Storage! Rebecca was incredibly helpful and took the time to provide us with all the information we needed to choose the right storage unit. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and professional, and the facility was clean and well-maintained. We highly recommend Silverhawk Self Storage and truly appreciate the excellent customer service! read more

Whole new staff but it feels kind of corporate now when I went in there today normally I can go in there and kind of chitchat for a bit and even though they're working you know the chitchat along with you so it makes it fun to visit Storage. Like how often can you say something like that lol but Amy's gone now and the new staff is very nice very polite all smiles very pleasant looking all that good stuff. But the one who I like the best is the redder hair kind of blonde red she is super personable but I want to see more of that chitchat kind of like small business friendliness but since they're all new I know that they're probably all training and everything but hopefully I'll be able to get that rapport going with the new staff and that they feel comfortable enough to chitchat and be more personable. But I would say that the blonde red hair girl is the one that has the best temperature in the room. So I don't come often but hopefully next time I see them I can chitchat with them a little bit kind of make it a fun experience again! I drive an hour away because the pricing is good and the facilities are clean and I enjoy my interaction when I come by. read more

When I first inquired and read all the reviews, I thought it was a wise decision to end my lease with my storage unit and move to Silverhawk. I was relieve i didn't have to deal with false advertising or headaches. Well, ever since I visited the facility and told my current storage I will end my lease and sign with Silverhawk I feel that I have made a bad decision. Prior to me signing the lease contract, every day I would get a call asking about my reservation (LaToya, Amy, Victor, and Gizelle) it was frustrating because they do not take notes or convey the conversations I would have with each one of them and I would have to repeat myself. I had scheduled to tour available units and spoke directly to Amy. Despite me going in, communication is lost. After touring the units I asked Amy to call me the next day because she had to ask her supervisor about reserving the truck and I would need to decide which unit I would like to lease, but no follow up, I took it upon myself to call them but no luck, phone rings, no one picked up and no voicemail could be left. I then called the next day, multiple attempts, finally got a hold of someone, I encountered the most obnoxious problem, I spoke to LaToya, the manager who was very unprofessional and everything about my reservation was commingled. She insisted that I had reserved a climate control unit, then proceeds to tell me none of the units I saw was available and rented out (but when I spoke to Victor a week prior to confirm that the promo was for a climate control unit he said that the promo I had reserved was not climate control, in addition when I came in to tour with Amy we decided that I would not take the climate control unit if it was not the price on the promo). Then she tells me the only units available are the bigger units and she cannot honor the promo on my reservation because it ended yesterday (why was I not informed?!?!? Let's just say I was calm and walked her through all my conversations with her colleagues and herself, after telling her how unprofessional they are and I will be taking my business elsewhere she puts me on a long hold to then tell me that the unit I saw is indeed still available and she can honor the promo. Then tells me then I cannot reserve the truck until I signed the lease. I then get told I can reserve the truck but on certain days I will have 30 mins and others 1hour. So I picked the day that gave me the 1hour truck use. When I go and sign my lease I ask Amy if that 1 hour is strict, because I will be moving my storage unit myself and will try my best to move my unit within the hour but if for some reason I needed an extra 15-30 mins would I be able to ask for an time extension and she said it is all dependent on her manager, LaToya. With that said I said I will stick to the hour given. Later on I called for some follow up and find out from Amy that if I didn't use their truck I can get credited $50 and rent my own truck. With that information I went and called around and was able to get a truck, I called Silverhawk and got their answering service around 6pm and was told someone will call me back before 8:30pm, but no one called me back. The message I left was I would like to change my lease date and rent my own truck. No call backs but I did get an email only after I sent and email regarding my insurance but once again I'm dealing with yet another issue. I'm told my lease date cannot be changed "I am unable to change the lease agreement due to this being your first month. You're able to access the unit prior to then. If you'd like the lease agreement updated to the 30th of each month, we're able to do so when your rent is due next (Oct 29, 2023). I'm unable to do it before then." I'm beyond frustrated with their customer service but I do not have the time to find another place that has a price guaranteed for the year. After my review: I appreciate, the area manager, Melissa reaching out to me after reading my review. It did not make up for my experience but it does show that higher management is proactive. read more
