This location is so good compared to the other locations that I have looked at. I have seen nicer facilities near Menifee but the experience I had was extremely negative. To the degree that I took that review down after being concerned for safety This location is extremely well ran. Gisele is the new manager and it's just an easy-going place! The best part is that even though it's a nice visit when you interact with the employees, they still get their stuff done! I think that's probably the biggest enjoyment that I've had working with James and especially Amy who has been there from the beginning. James and Amy are extremely on top of everything that they need to get done and are very polite as well as friendly and you can even say hi and joke around for a little bit while getting done what you need to do. I feel like that's pretty impressive! Usually when you go and you deal with Storage it's a pain! Nobody wants to pay to have their stuff and room somewhere that you have to go in organize or figure out how you want to deal with it and the pricing here is great. They keep it for a year for you the staff is fantastic. So I would recommend it. The only negative is the hours of operation can be a little bit confining but I think it just depends upon how often you need to get to your storage unit after six or 7 PM. I do like the ones that are open longer but I think that also is why a lot of places end up increasing their fees and they're very sneaky about it. Amy signed me up the first time James and Amy took care of me the second time when I upgraded. So I would say that the information is very straightforward they explain it it's printed out. You don't get random increases they send you an invoice every month as well. So I would say this is the way to go. As long as you're looking for something That is plug and play and you're not needing a lot of bells and whistles. It's easy and I think it's a convenient location because it's in between Marietta and Temecula. I really hope that they keep the prices low and hopefully they go even a little bit lower if they get more business rather than the opposite. I feel like a lot of places try to jack it up when they have people that want to stay there for a long time and I think that's what ruins the easy flow of business. so I think as long as they keep the pricing good and they continue to have the great staff then they will continue to have success at this location. I would say that this location deserves it stars and I would say that other location you might want to look into them a little bit more if they only have good reviews. This one actually deserves it. Thank you everyone for all you do! I know that dealing with the public is not always fun and I know that Storage business can be interesting. So thank you for making the location safe and keeping it clean and the best part is the customer service and the attention to detail and knowing your stuff! Especially in this area where so often you feel like you have to go the extra mile as the customer experience. When I first inquired and read all the reviews, I thought it was a wise decision to end my lease with my storage unit and move to Silverhawk. I was relieve i didn't have to deal with false advertising or headaches. Well, ever since I visited the facility and told my current storage I will end my lease and sign with Silverhawk I feel that I have made a bad decision. Prior to me signing the lease contract, every day I would get a call asking about my reservation (LaToya, Amy, Victor, and Gizelle) it was frustrating because they do not take notes or convey the conversations I would have with each one of them and I would have to repeat myself. I had scheduled to tour available units and spoke directly to Amy. Despite me going in, communication is lost. After touring the units I asked Amy to call me the next day because she had to ask her supervisor about reserving the truck and I would need to decide which unit I would like to lease, but no follow up, I took it upon myself to call them but no luck, phone rings, no one picked up and no voicemail could be left. I then called the next day, multiple attempts, finally got a hold of someone, I encountered the most obnoxious problem, I spoke to LaToya, the manager who was very unprofessional and everything about my reservation was commingled. She insisted that I had reserved a climate control unit, then proceeds to tell me none of the units I saw was available and rented out (but when I spoke to Victor a week prior to confirm that the promo was for a climate control unit he said that the promo I had reserved was not climate control, in addition when I came in to tour with Amy we decided that I would not take the climate control unit if it was not the price on the promo). Then she tells me the only units available are the bigger units and she cannot honor the promo on my reservation because it ended yesterday (why was I not informed?!?!? Let's just say I was calm and walked her through all my conversations with her colleagues and herself, after telling her how unprofessional they are and I will be taking my business elsewhere she puts me on a long hold to then tell me that the unit I saw is indeed still available and she can honor the promo. Then tells me then I cannot reserve the truck until I signed the lease. I then get told I can reserve the truck but on certain days I will have 30 mins and others 1hour. So I picked the day that gave me the 1hour truck use. When I go and sign my lease I ask Amy if that 1 hour is strict, because I will be moving my storage unit myself and will try my best to move my unit within the hour but if for some reason I needed an extra 15-30 mins would I be able to ask for an time extension and she said it is all dependent on her manager, LaToya. With that said I said I will stick to the hour given. Later on I called for some follow up and find out from Amy that if I didn't use their truck I can get credited $50 and rent my own truck. With that information I went and called around and was able to get a truck, I called Silverhawk and got their answering service around 6pm and was told someone will call me back before 8:30pm, but no one called me back. The message I left was I would like to change my lease date and rent my own truck. No call backs but I did get an email only after I sent and email regarding my insurance but once again I'm dealing with yet another issue. I'm told my lease date cannot be changed "I am unable to change the lease agreement due to this being your first month. You're able to access the unit prior to then. If you'd like the lease agreement updated to the 30th of each month, we're able to do so when your rent is due next (Oct 29, 2023). I'm unable to do it before then." I'm beyond frustrated with their customer service but I do not have the time to find another place that has a price guaranteed for the year. After my review: I appreciate, the area manager, Melissa reaching out to me after reading my review. It did not make up for my experience but it does show that higher management is proactive. read more
