Do not rent a unit here. They have rats. I had an indoor storage unit and spent my entire Saturday moving everything out and wiping down all of my belongings because they were covered in rat feces. What makes this even worse is that no one notified me about the issue. I have children, and now I have to worry about possible health risks from exposure to rat droppings and viruses. Thankfully, the rats didn't destroy my property since I don't store food in the unit, but that does not make this situation acceptable. Now I'm left without a storage unit and dealing with a disgusting mess that could have been avoided or at least communicated properly. I've attached pictures so people can see for themselves. Do not rent here unless you also want to deal with rats. What a shame. read more

I was here for a long time, I moved from a large home to a smaller one. I have been coming in and out, the people that work here are awful! The manager Maria, actually told me she was going to charge me for driving behind someone, she said they charge for piggy backing!!!! They have messed with the code to get in and out so many times!!!! I went on a Sunday and couldn't get in, more than once. This place is awful!!! I recommend extra space storage near Temecula parkway, so clean, the employees are so nice!!!! The gate is automatic, and also you can use the app. Plus they actually give you a deal when you move in....not like Ranpac, they said it's only for the small storage spaces! read more

This company is very suspicious and I have contacted the BBB but want to warn the community of their practices. On 6/13/23 I removed my card from autopay on the unit due to termination of employment. She intended to keep the unit so she was to contact the company to transfer ownership. On 7/17/23 I received the1st late notice from the company. On 7/27/23 I contacted the business to either transfer ownership of the lease or terminate the lease. Company approved Doucsign option due to distance and I submitted my information. 8/17/23 I Received a Notice of Lien Sale and this is the first communication since the last email. I was not followed up with regarding the ownership transfer and I called management immediately. They confirmed they would reach out to my old boss. again to initiate the transfer process and update me. I offered a payment arrangement to settle whatever was owed as I did not like the language being used and requested next steps to terminate the lease. On 9/13/23 I received another past due notice for $210.95. I Inquired what this was about since I still had not been updated on the unit and last I heard from the team they were in communication with my prior employer and working out the transfer along with receiving all money owed. At this point,they seem to be looking to hold me responsible still which is inappropriate. Matter escalated to Robert who is threatening legal action against me and sending me portions of the lease agreement to frighten me into paying the balance. From my perspective, either this unit is still under my name, which means they did not process the transfer and allowed an unauthorized party access to the unit to empty the belongings which is a breach of contractOR the transfer has gone through and my boss left items behind. In this case, they should pursue her for any fees for over belongings. *note: All of this is over $210.95. Probably a nominal amount for a business but certainly a lot for a single person in this horrifying economy where most people can't afford food. You'd think that and the clear numerous errors on their end would mean something to management. read more

I went in to speak to the manager but he wasn't there and they offered me a $20 credit. But as I mentioned before, its not about the money, its about the principle. I've been paying on time for the last year, at $247 a month for 12 months, which totals $2,964. I had planned on staying another year so that would have been another $2,964 in their businesses pocket. However, since the proper customer service response would have been to extend a 'one-time courtesy' refund because of the mitigating circumstances as a courtesy to a customer who always paid on time but was unable to this time due to an expired debit card (and no calls or texts were ever made to me by the way. ONLY ONE email mail sent on Sept 12th AFTER the card expired and you placed the late fee on my account), It just seems to me that this business is more concerned about sticking it to the customers to get that extra $$$ in late fees rather than pleasing a good customer and retaining their business. I have chosen to move my stuff out of their storage and go somewhere else. Like I said, it wasn't about the money, but about the business principle of extending a courtesy in a time of tragedy and loss. Its ok. I'll be moving out by the end of the month. In the end, their business is going to lose a lot more with the bad customer service... especially if they continue with this practice of notifying customers late and then not granting them any type of courtesy refunds. read more

If I could leave less stars I would. HORRIBLE experience. Made a reservation to move in on December 23rd. Manager called the day before and left message to confirm. I called back and it was the main corporate number so I asked them to have her call me again. Received an email the day of letting me know it was moving day. Showed up at 3pm with a moving truck and all my stuff only to find the office closed 5 hours early for the holiday. It's fine they closed early, but they were open for 4 HOURS and no one bothered to call to tell me they would would not be there past noon. Now I am stuck with a moving truck and nowhere to go until after Christmas which is 2 DAYS of now paying to keep this truck. Two confirmations and an email!!!! They have cost me now a ton of money and no where to go for the holiday!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! read more

A friend of mine had a unit here while i was at another storage. He had one at least 6x my size for only $60 more. Had 5x5 starting at 35$ and went up every $75. Here we got 10x10 for only $145 with a month to month lease and including discount of 1/2 off four months for $72.50/mo throughout the promo. Also they have a much wider gate hour that is until 10pm daily rather than my previous place at 7pm. Definitely glad for the switch. They have 900 units and are planning an expansion to adjacent lot soon read more

I visited Ranpac Storage in Miuuieta to look at renting a storage bin. No one was in the office and the door was locked between 4:00 - 4:20 P.M. There was no sign on the door indicating how long they would be gone, so I waited around about 10 minutes thinking maybe they had gone to check on a unit or were in the bathroom. There was some guy apparently tuning his motorcycle in the back, so I called the number on the door. Some black lady answered. I explained the situation. That was it. There was no offer to get someone to the office or to give me pricing on any of the units, so I just left. At least I found out BEFORE I spent ant money there and didn't lose any money. Reserved a 10x25 yesterday. Used an online ad to reserve with special rate. Drove there today to pay admin fees and was told the offer was now expired. Office said they tried to call but received a "voicemail has not been set up" message. First of all my voicemail has been set up for over 15 years, second of all I was there the next day if you had concerns. My problem is they told me my offer had expired as one explanation and then that I did not respond in time (less than 24 hours) for the other explanation. Very disappointing in the customer service. read more

Update: I went to my unit to start moving belonging yesterday and they have a rat infestation! I've had my belongings there for months with no idea this was going on, disgusting! I now have to throw away half the things I paid money to store. They have sticky mouse traps all over the hallways and in the units there is soo much poop. See photos. Before doing anything call several times and talk to several people to get your information. I was told that since I didn't have a utility bill (still don't understand the point of that as many people rent rooms these days and MANY people MOVING won't have a local utility bill anyway and they refused any other option for whatever they are proving with a utility bill as well) I was told had to EITHER pay $100 cleaning fee OR have a major credit card. When I go there FROM LOS ANGELES with a loaded SUV I was denied a unit because someone else messed up. No one tried to work with me at all. There was just a 'she's new' and that was it. No utility bill OR a major credit card AND a $100 cleaning deposit tough luck. Too bad for you attitude... So 150 miles and $30 in gas and I got nothing. And also these women are oddly obsessed with your personal information and gave me a hard time because I wasn't going to be staying 'close enough' to THEIR satisfaction. I wasn't aware people weren't allowed to CHOOSE where they rent a storage unit. They don't know my life. They don't know nor do they have any right to know my plans or why I am storing anything in a unit. THAT IS PERSONAL. I am 56 not 20. I could be in transition or traveling or just moving. There was no reason for the judgement nor questioning. I chose them for the location, price and the reviews but I don't trust those reviews so much now. Also, if you have asthma or COPD or any lung issues go somewhere else. It was INSANE how strong all the scented everything was in that place, including the bathroom. I had to put a mask on to re-enter. So be careful. Otherwise it was a clean (although toxic) place. Just be weary and definately check multiple times to make sure the person you talk to is giving you accurate information, especially if you are coming from out of the local area.... although it seems they 'off the record' require you to be local. read more

I have been a solid customer with this storage facility going on 4 yrs. I've had several different units and a parking spot. I've had no complaints, until recently. I have a 10x25 unit. I do not come down here to often anymore because I've relocated, but just this past week. I was robbed, my unit was missing a dirt bike, generator, all my tools, compressor, and more. Thinking I would find out immediately who it was. Do to the camera system there. I was instead treated as I had done it myself. I was told they couldn't tell me or show me any film. And they could only cooperate after filing a police report. In which I did and still feel that the employees have not shown the proper concern or taking any helpful steps in regards to least letting me know it's being worked on. Highly disappointed and strongly suggest if your thinking about storing at this facility. Make sure it's nothing valuable. read more

My uncle used to be a landlord - for over 40 years. He has never had a truly positive experience until coming to this facility. Seems to be family owned, and brand new. I am not in the business of naming anyone, so I won't be that person - we came into contact with two employees. One was very helpful, the other not so much - but do not let that taint your view on this facility. They were very busy - considering they are offering 50% off the first 4 months because they just opened. With that being said, the facility is amazing. Plenty of room to bring a large truck (even a semi can fit). Gate codes are easy and the majority of the employees are very friendly. The storage space we got was impeccable. Air conditioned inside and plenty of height space, they must have 12' ceilings. There is non offensive music playing on speakers throughout the facility (not loud enough to be annoying even though I enjoy country music), and I would recommend this to any and all of my friends. I would like to thank this facility for being a positive experience for myself and my family to store our belongings in a safe place. My uncle was over the moon with compliments, and I am as well. Even if the monthly rent goes up after the promotion, I would find it more that impossible to find something of similar price with the amenities that this facility offers. Kudos to whoever came up with the business plan to start this - keep it going and don't turn into the mass majority of storage facility schmucks. If this review actually reaches management, and I hope it does. - you have one or two employees making your review status less than 5 stars. I find this unacceptable. I made a reservation for a storage unit. They didn't have that reservation. I reserved a 5' x 20' unit beginning on Feb. 10, 2022. They required that I buy 4 locks for the single unit from them at an inflated price. They advertised a special 1/2 price ($99) per month rate. I paid $147. when I moved in on 2/10. Then, I received another bill for $65 a few days later. A few days after that I received a 3rd bill for $124.00 which included a $25. late charge. It was still Feb. when I received the 3rd bill. I called for an explanation and they told me to vacate in 10 days. Their manager is arrogant and very rude. He kept reminding me after I moved in and paid the first $147. that there were other storage places. I hope anyone reading this takes that advice and finds another place. read more

Ruthie, the manager at this place is the professional who assisted me. I have an appointment and I got there a little early. It was cold and raining outside. Ruthie came in to open the office up before the opening hours and allowed me inside to wait while she sets up her computer. She was smiling and pleasant to assist me and guided me to the gate to make sure my code for exit and entrance would work as expected. Then she took me to inspect the units and I came back to sign the contract. I got the first 2 months at 50% discount and the current month they prorated at the full rate, but the next two months I pay only a half. After that I will also get the 10% senior discount. I love the service, friendly, courteous and professional. In addition the general manager, Ruthie's boss was also super nice too. I highly recommend this location.
