This is an awesome storage space! It is secure safe updated, there is air-conditioning to make sure your items don't get damaged. I would definitely recommend this space, and it is affordable. I was able to pay in a year in advance to keep my same rate. Thanks Anthony read more

I just moved into the storage space today. Mike said it would help him with his job if I wrote a five star review. He deserves it. He is pleasant guy and seemed straightforward and not drunk or high. Very helpful and fast. Extra Space Storage was a little more costly than Public Storage, but the interface/booking was easier than Public Storage; and facilities are cleaner. I have lots of money thank God, I don't mind paying more if I am getting more. Good job. read more

This place is clean. However, I want to alert everyone to their pricing strategy. I was forced into storage by frustrating life circumstances. Then COVID-19 hit, making finding replacement housing very, very difficult. Over the last year, Extra Space Storage increased my storage charge by 20%!!! Inflation in 2020 is 1.2% per the government. Life is bad enough when you can't get housing, housing prices are skyrocketing and then the storage company decides that it's now time to gouge its customers. It's incredibly frustrating. They know that it's difficult for you to move to a new location, so they can take advantage of your challenging circumstances to exact significant extra cash from you. What are you going to do? If you can, avoid using this company at all costs. read more

Great clean facility, the girl Kathy was friendly and patient when it came to answering all my questions, definitely recommend this location simply for the customer service read more

I have been a customer for 3 years now and I absolutely LOVE Extra Space Storage. The employees are super friendly, helpful, they have your best interest in mind and I've seen the same employees working there since the day I moved in (major plus). The facility itself is super clean, air-conditioned, gated and lots of security cameras. The location is perfect because it's in the heart of Irvine and Irvine is a very safe city in Orange County. I feel my items inside my storage are protected and safe on the property. I look forward to many more years of being a satisfied customer! Thank you for all your help! Chantel N. read more

From the first phone call to the move out, everything was fantastic. The staff was patient, courteous and very professional. Moving can be a stressful process, but booking storage did not add to the chaos. I would happily recommend Extra Space Storage for your needs. The pricing is also very competitive and the facilities are spotless. I hope to not need for a storage space in the future, but if that changes, Extra Space Storage will be my only call. read more

Kevin was very friendly and helpful in showing us exactly what we needed at a competitive price. We signed all the docs online....super easy, and within a short time, now proud renters at Extra Space Storage. read more

First time renting a storage and Mike was very helpful. He walked me through everything and showed me a few other unit size, the 5x5 was perfect and just what I needed. Everything looked clean and secure, first impression is always good! I highly recommend this area if you want a clean and secure storage with helpful employees who are willing to go beyond. read more

Josh did a great job setting us up! Looking forward to storing stuff for a year! It was easy and pain free to setup!

Mike was very professional and helpful! Our company was in a hurry to arrange a storage unit for immediate move-in. Mike was able to hold the unit over the phone and had the paperwork ready to sign and process right when I came in. Conveniently located, clean and excellent customer service. Our company has been using Extra Space Storage for almost 2 years now and it has been great for our real estate staging storage needs!! read more

I don't review often, but worth taking this time to review ESS. I am so lucky I found Extra Storage Space in Irvine. They are not only very safe and have latest storage options but their staff is amazing and so knowledgeable. They really take time to explain all the details and how the process works. I spoke to Tom a few times and Sara today and they both so helpful, courteous and really help you with any questions. Even if you think a dumb one, they don't mind because they truly want to help. When you arrive for the 1st time easy to follow instructions, and when you arrive to the unit it is clean and ready for your storage. The temperature control and the extra layers of security provide peace of mind. Its truly a pleasure to meet folks that are sincere and it makes you feel good to give your business to a business that cares and let others know. read more

I only needed to use the storage for 2 weeks because I'm in the process of moving. It was one month free, so why not? I moved a couch in one day and two days later when I was moving in more things, all of my boxes were open and $800 of my small electronics and wires were stolen. I know someone broke in because there was a wire on top of the couch and a random mask on the floor. I should've filed a police report right then and there but I was too distraught and confused to make the decision. Went to the office on the Monday after because it was closed on Sunday. Customer service was great, but they said that there's alarms on the door that indicate when it open and closes- and apparently there was no proof that someone broke in to steal my items. I just found it super sketchy and weird because out of all of the units, why mine? Knowing that I was only renting for two weeks as well, it's just too convenient. It was my first time renting a public storage unit, so I guess I was naive to store those things in there not knowing it could easily be broken into with no video footage or data to get reimbursed with insurance. TJMaxx has better security video footage than this place. Don't store any irreplaceable or expensive stuff read more

I love how this location is clean, cost-friendly and convenient and everyone is helpful and friendly! I also love the bathroom access because I am usually traveling a long distance to get here. Unfortunately it is due to the long distance is why I am moving out. If I ever live closer again, I would definitely rent from them again! read more

Ryan was extremely helpful, storage units are nice, clean and well maintained. Overall a very easy process!

I used Extra Space Storage for just a short time, and I was completely satisfied with my experience. The person who handled setting up my rental contract was Jerale, and he is the nicest guy, answered all my questions, and made sure my vehicle storage needs were met in the best way possible. The facility is easy to access. It's not far from the 5, but it's on a street that doesn't have a lot of traffic. It's superbly managed and in a great location. read more

I have had my belongings at extra space storage for a year where it remained clean and safe with easy access. Beyond this all the employees were friendly and accommodating, even when I needed to pay late twice. Abraham, recently guided me through my move out and helped ensure that I would be refunded, after my move out date turned out to be less than a week after I paid for a full month. He checked back with me via phone and in person, making me feel like my business there and money mattered. I highly recommend this location for storage needs based on awesome staff and cleanliness. Thank you all so much for relieving a lot of my stress! As we know moving can be very stressful! read more

Nice and clean. The price is the same as my old storage, but this place is nicer and more convenient.

We moved our RV from a storage facility with valet service. It was well run and had good security but at Extra Space Storage we have better access to our RV and do not have to call ahead when we want to pick it up or return it. Jerale, the Manager, has been very accommodating and we are very satisfied in the short time we have stored here. read more

The storage facility is conveniently located near the 5 freeway, it is clean and well maintained. The application processing is easy and fast. It is also convenient that they set you up on the automatic payment program as soon as you sign the contract. The best part about using this facility is that Jerale is the onsite manager. He is wonderful to work with, he is resourceful, informative and very responsible. I will not go to any other facility for storing my vehicles. read more

This storage facility is clean and secure; but, the on-site manager is what makes it special. He is friendly, courteous and very forthcoming with helpful information, while maintaining professionalism. I stored my vehicle there for about six months. read more

Great location, extremely good follow-up on my phone call, quick email back in response to my questions. Very helpful, even reserved two possible spaces for me to look at. Gave a 4 foot oversized spot with no extra charge! Met neighbors as we were backing our trailer in and they said they were very happy after being there for almost two years. We both remarked on how efficient and friendly Jerele the manager is and how nice it is to have him in charge. Bonus is the lighting, and the live-in caretaker. Something we didn't have at our last RV storage. We are gonna love this place! read more
