Their gate and codes assigned to you never works! I have been stuck inside the gate 3 times in the past couple of months that I have moved in and they have not been able to address it properly. On top of that, their so called site managers are very rude and incompetent. Plus, they raise the rent by 30% every 3-4 months. What a joke. I filed a complaint with BBB to look into this ridiculous situation... read more

Dishonest Pricing & Rude Staff I booked a 5x10 unit online at Public Storage because the website clearly showed a rate of $78/month. When I arrived, they charged me $168/month instead more than double! On top of that, they added a $29 "admin fee." The staff made the experience even worse. Both Mariah and Dawn were unprofessional, dismissive, and offered no real help or explanation. This company is misleading customers with fake online rates and terrible customer service. Go somewhere else if you want honesty and professionalism. I wish I could give less than 1 star, but since I can't, I'm going with one star. read more

STOLEN!!! If you think this PUBLIC STORAGE IN JAMBOREE is safe because it's in IRVINE and NEXT TO A POLICE STATION think again this storage is not safe!!! Before you get inside the gate u need a code, then you need a code again at the door to get inside your unit, lastly a padlock that's provided by the office for your storage. And yet a person managed to break in my STORAGE UNIT and stole all my valuable belongings. On top of that SECURITY CAMERAS ARE NOT WORKING. The office can't provide any recording because they said cameras are not working. Inside job??? Hahaha Anyways, IF YOU WANT THE SAME THING THAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU! read more

Warning: Avoid Public Storage at All Costs - Predatory Pricing and Shady Practices I've never written a review this bad before, but the experience I've had with Public Storage demands that others be warned. This company is a textbook example of corporate greed run wild. Over just a two-month period, they raised my rental rate by over 200%--without justification, warning, or concern for how it impacts their customers. It's hard to believe this kind of pricing manipulation is even legal. The process of paying the bill is already a hassle, but the real issue here is the blatant price gouging. They lure you in with an affordable rate, then jack up the price once you're locked in, knowing full well that moving your belongings elsewhere is time-consuming and expensive. It's a predatory business model designed to trap people and exploit their circumstances. If you're considering using Public Storage, don't. Look elsewhere. They will take advantage of you the moment they think you're vulnerable. read more

I needed a space short term and it worked out well for me. Jake helped me find space to fit my needs and get me through a few months

I had such an outstanding experience with the help of Mariah she was truly such a helpful hand. I felt more than taken care of.

I needed a short term vehicle storage for my 69 Bronco and I walked in to get prices and availability. I was greeted by Christine who was super helpful and confident on sharing the best options for my need. Due to limited openings for my space needs and also within walking distance I had a rental contract completed in less than 15min. I was completely satisfied with the plan. Christine helped with the online app and explained the entire process. Super easy and I was on my way. Keep up the great customer service and professional attitude Christine. read more

Highly recommend this public storage over other options in Orange county. Christina was superb. Helpful efficient and easy to deal with The place is nice, secure and clean. I checked out a few places close to my home in Costa Mesa but they were lacking in security and the staff were not nearly as good as Christina Plus the price here was good read more

I never considered rating a public storage place, but the woman who manages this place, Christina, is a GEM! She is so helpful, courteous, and kind. And she runs a tight ship. The place is kept so clean and she is very responsive to your requests. . . she even helped me view some security footage when we had a question about a mover. I'll spare the details, but the footage helped me get a refund on a product that Uhaul tried to charge me when it was something that they never provided! Christina! I don't know what you make, but you deserve a raise and ALL the bonuses! read more

No traffic signs of anykind inside the public storage grounds, no speed limit sign, stop sign, exit sign etc. no lane was drawn. When there's an incident, manager Christina does not assess the situation clearly and make accusations based on her assumption, and she did not inform on which way to exit, where to park to load and unload, and the attitude was exceptionally rude. She also threatens customer to move out if you are upset about her, so she can be rude others cannot? Not a safe place to visit. read more

I would rate this place '0' star. Christina the 'property manager' is the worst employee to deal with. Rude , unprofessional and very disrespectful !! Had a horrifying experience here !! She waisted 2 days for the moving , illegally holding my stuff by refusing to give us gate code access !! Ended up going with the police there to get MY stuff !!! read more

Locked myself out of my unit feeling hopeless and distraught, thank god Christie helped my dad and I out. From having absolutely no keys or code to successfully retrieving my belongings the service was very very friendly and fast. Christie called the locksmith and was very on top of helping us making sure that we got what we needed. 5 stars and nothing less. read more

Charged me for a full month of storage when I moved out early on the morning of the 1st. They will not adjust the amount and they do not care about you. I paid $283 for a full month of empty storage unit. Buyer beware! read more

Christina the store manager was exceptional..very helpful.. showed us our space and we thank her for going above and beyond..:)

I was pleased at their knowledge and service of touring around various rooms. I have to thank them for giving me the last available one! If you're planning to store short time over the summer, take time to do it BEFORE Memorial Day. Every public storage is different. This one ONLY has one floor. That's a good thing because you can easily drive through to the door instead of going up elevators. Their carts are only at the front entrance though, a pain to heave to your area if the items are not too heavy. Though I must complain as nice as the staff is, there's occasionally a hit of a 'are-you-stupid-' attitude. Also forces you into buying insurance. Check with your insurance company if you are legible to cover storage buildings. This staff refuses to believe me and told me to call my insurance company. I said "I don't need to, I AM the insurance agent"...and left it at that. Burned. read more

Christina was an excellent helper when it came to getting out first storage unit as college students. She walked us through the entire facility explaining how everything would work. She was also very responsive and professional and would recommend storaging here for sure. read more

Horrible absolutely horrible employees and management, seem to Delight in some sick way to not satisfy and follow protocol rules. They deserve negative 5 stars. Public Storage National should replace them suggest everyone stay away from that place unless your a masochist, I was even told by the female who I think is the deranged mental female with issues, manager that she did not care about my belongings by personal property or what happened to it how secure was it's not my problem it's not my stuff I don't give a darn that's your problem now who in the world would burnt from place like that ? They lie they cheat very rude it cost me over 4 hours to find another storage after I had the storage reserved for a week ahead of schedule. it was the management and employees at that facility I would stay clear if I were you they are horrible. Public Storage is good overall but I would stay away from this place and has absolute horrible management and employees they were rude lied wouldn't rent when I had an appointment scheduled to hold the unit I called District and regional manager event and they told me that they were just lying to me they probably rented the unit by accident or on purpose I was told by them they didn't care about my stuff my property it isn't mine so why should I care beware I would run from this place are several the public storage's the area that are very very good. Suggest anybody who encounter such Behavior such unprofessionally rude contact the national office as well as the regional and District Public Storage office. That's what I did and they told me they're checking into investigating and they don't do business that way it's not Public Storage it's the people the employees there at that location read more

Very clean location! I was helped immediately, and everything was done efficiently. I got an amazing deal, at a fantastic location! I will be back if I ever need to rent a storage unit again! I highly recommend this location! 17052 Jamboree Rd Irvine, CA 92614 United States read more

You couldn't possibly have worse customer service. My storage unit fee was just increased by $205 per month, bringing the monthly cost up to $850 per month. Nobody works at the front office and the door is always locked. I was recently locked out of the actual building that my unit is in and after 30 minutes of making phone calls, I was able to speak to a representative who told me my code "should work." No resolution and still can't access my unit. Shopping for a better facility. This is absolutely horrific. Trust me folks, you don't want to rent here. read more

Very easy to do online. Never had to even go to the office. Clean facility. I recommend using the public storage app. Acts as a gate key.

Public Storage at jamboree location has the worst customer service I don't recommend to anyone once their door fall on me almost killed me when I went to their office to change my unit because of the door instead of apologizing they ask me to pay $25 dollars for changing the unit they are very mean and rude read more

This is my second time using this location. Both times I dealt with Monique. She is extremely helpful and kind. She is honest about what you're getting and what you need without trying to push you buy what you don't need like so many salespeople. She is warm and friendly, going out of her way to help us with the process. I had the option of renting a place nearby for cheaper but the experience with her was so positive that it was worth paying more. (Give her a raise public storage!) The units are nice and I like how secure the property feels. Everything is kept up and they have a good selection of unit sizes. Not the cheapest place around but a very solid choice read more

Ryan and Kim were the associates that helped me with my check-in, and they were wonderful! The district manager, Franz, was there and accompanied us on the unit tour, so that may have influenced their service a bit, but I think their good spirits and attitude are the norm none the less. Got a great online deal for an outdoor 10x10, and it fit everything from our 2 bedroom apartment perfectly. Props to Laaks moving services, but will save that for another review. Almost needed an additional unit, and Ryan was sitting on ready to assist in case I needed to book it right then and there. Highly recommend the Jamboree location. Thanks, guys! read more

WORSE STORAGE UNIT EVER! From property manager to District manager "Dawn Sino-Cruz" Within the first week of my renting my storage was randomly and WRONGFULLY locked with no explanation still to this day. No one was ever on site although the time said someone should be working between certain hours. When i finally get in contact with the customer service and they contact the RUDE property manager she was had no excuse and said she was running over 45min late. Which wouldn't have been a problem if they would've hard locked the CORRECT STORAGE #! Ruin my whole day. read more

I contacted Christina today who is the property manager to discuss my account and express my dissatisfaction with a rate increase. She listened to my concerns and promptly provided a solution. Been using this place for a few years....overall experience has been very good. People are very nice and have always been helpful when I needed them. I'd recommend them without hesitation. I'd give them 5 stars but I never give 5 stars to anyone so this is pretty great! Two thumbs up! read more

CAN'T RECOMMEND 1000 units at this location. CARTS - Only 6 carts available and those are typically locked, according to the LAZY staff members, as 2 were stolen. That was weeks ago and continues to this day. That means if you come after hours, all carts are locked and unavailable. ELEVATORS - there are 2 next to the office and one on the other side. The one away from the office has been out of service for several weeks as well as the doors. Bathrooms are a mess and the floors need cleaning. MANAGEMENT - what's going on? read more

I went to get a five-by-five unit from this public storage because when I called the lady refused to take my information over the phone. Even though I literally just had a public storage 5 months ago at the same exact location she insisted she couldn't help me over the phone. I drove directly to her and then she opened the door and said sorry I just took my lunch. Last time I had a unit here I didn't like the fact that you could not get in to your own unit after a certain hour. But I was going to come back because it was close to my house. But it wasn't just that this lady was making it inconvenient but she had the worst attitude ever. I don't recommend anyone using this company or this location. But the choice is yours! :-) read more
