Dishonest Pricing & Rude Staff I booked a 5x10 unit online at Public Storage because the website clearly showed a rate of $78/month. When I arrived, they charged me $168/month instead more than double! On top of that, they added a $29 "admin fee." The staff made the experience even worse. Both Mariah and Dawn were unprofessional, dismissive, and offered no real help or explanation. This company is misleading customers with fake online rates and terrible customer service. No traffic signs of anykind inside the public storage grounds, no speed limit sign, stop sign, exit sign etc. no lane was drawn. When there's an incident, manager Christina does not assess the situation clearly and make accusations based on her assumption, and she did not inform on which way to exit, where to park to load and unload, and the attitude was exceptionally rude. I never considered rating a public storage place, but the woman who manages this place, Christina, is a GEM! She is so helpful, courteous, and kind. And she runs a tight ship. The place is kept so clean and she is very responsive to your requests. . . she even helped me view some security footage when we had a question about a mover. I'll spare the details, but the footage helped me get a refund on a product that Uhaul tried to charge me when it was something that they never provided! Christina! I was pleased at their knowledge and service of touring around various rooms. I have to thank them for giving me the last available one! If you're planning to store short time over the summer, take time to do it BEFORE Memorial Day. Every public storage is different. This one ONLY has one floor. That's a good thing because you can easily drive through to the door instead of going up elevators. Their carts are only at the front entrance though, a pain to heave to your area if the items are not too heavy. Though I must complain as nice as the staff is, there's occasionally a hit of a 'are-you-stupid-' attitude. Also forces you into buying insurance. Check with your insurance company if you are legible to cover storage buildings. This staff refuses to believe me and told me to call my insurance company. I said "I don't need to, I AM the insurance agent"...and left it at that. Burned. read more

You couldn't possibly have worse customer service. My storage unit fee was just increased by $205 per month, bringing the monthly cost up to $850 per month. Nobody works at the front office and the door is always locked. I was recently locked out of the actual building that my unit is in and after 30 minutes of making phone calls, I was able to speak to a representative who told me my code "should work." No resolution and still can't access my unit. Shopping for a better facility. This is absolutely horrific. Trust me folks, you don't want to rent here. read more

Ryan and Kim were the associates that helped me with my check-in, and they were wonderful! The district manager, Franz, was there and accompanied us on the unit tour, so that may have influenced their service a bit, but I think their good spirits and attitude are the norm none the less. Got a great online deal for an outdoor 10x10, and it fit everything from our 2 bedroom apartment perfectly. Props to Laaks moving services, but will save that for another review. WORSE STORAGE UNIT EVER! From property manager to District manager "Dawn Sino-Cruz" Within the first week of my renting my storage was randomly and WRONGFULLY locked with no explanation still to this day. No one was ever on site although the time said someone should be working between certain hours. When i finally get in contact with the customer service and they contact the RUDE property manager she was had no excuse and said she was running over 45min late. This is my second time using this location. Both times I dealt with Monique. She is extremely helpful and kind. She is honest about what you're getting and what you need without trying to push you buy what you don't need like so many salespeople. She is warm and friendly, going out of her way to help us with the process. I had the option of renting a place nearby for cheaper but the experience with her was so positive that it was worth paying more. (Give her a raise public storage!) CAN'T RECOMMEND 1000 units at this location. CARTS - Only 6 carts available and those are typically locked, according to the LAZY staff members, as 2 were stolen. That was weeks ago and continues to this day. That means if you come after hours, all carts are locked and unavailable. ELEVATORS - there are 2 next to the office and one on the other side. The one away from the office has been out of service for several weeks as well as the doors. Bathrooms are a mess and the floors need cleaning. MANAGEMENT - what's going on? read more

I went to get a five-by-five unit from this public storage because when I called the lady refused to take my information over the phone. Even though I literally just had a public storage 5 months ago at the same exact location she insisted she couldn't help me over the phone. I drove directly to her and then she opened the door and said sorry I just took my lunch. Last time I had a unit here I didn't like the fact that you could not get in to your own unit after a certain hour. But I was going to come back because it was close to my house. But it wasn't just that this lady was making it inconvenient but she had the worst attitude ever. I don't recommend anyone using this company or this location. But the choice is yours! :-) read more
