My mom used to have a unit at one of those two story places and you had to walk into a huge warehouse and take an elevator up. It took us 10 times as long to load anything due to all the walking. Management has been painless to work with and easy. I don't really interact with them much as the place is kept up, the gate opens everytime I need it and I just auto-pay my rent. Centrally located on 17th street right next to trader joes so much easier and quicker to get to than most up placentia or Red Hill.

David drove the truck to my place, got the ramp down for us and when we were done, drove the truck back for us to offload. The final straw was when she told me to pack up and leave because I was draining only water -- nothing harmful, nothing dangerous -- just water. She claimed it was against policy, yet when I asked to see where that was stated in the lease agreement, she couldn't provide any clear documentation. Nothing in what she showed me outlined that I was in violation. It felt completely arbitrary and personal. She even made a point to say she's on-site and has seen burglaries and more. Hearing that from a manager actually made me feel less secure about storing my belongings there. Between that and her attitude, I knew this wasn't a place I wanted to leave my property. Katie's handling of the situation showed a serious lack of professionalism and understanding of the actual lease terms. If she's going to enforce rules, they should be clearly written and consistent -- not based on her mood or personal bias. At the very least, she should be trained on how to interpret and communicate policies properly. I would not recommend this location to anyone until there's a serious review of management. After how I was treated, I didn't feel safe or respected, and that's a non-negotiable when choosing a storage facility.

I went to Mini U Storage to store my daughter's babies stuff that she no longer uses. The managers were so helpful and friendly. They helped me pick the perfect size unit and they had all the supplies I needed along with a truck for me to rent to help me move my stuff. The facility was very clean and well kept. Corporate offices of Public Storage raised our rate 40% in 4 months and after asking around will raise it continuously thereafter every quarter! They wait for you to move in get everything settled and Hit you with this increase expecting you to pay it! Here is the kicker! I went online and at the same facility for a bigger unit they offered it for less than what I was paying. This Shady practice shows you they are willing to let renters go just so they can get people to pay the increase. And if they don't and you move out they do it to the next person. I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau as well as telling everyone I know never to rent from this terrible company. I called corporate office and they basically said there is nothing they can do because it's based on demand. even though I told them I see open units at the facility. It took me 10 minutes to find a storage facility closer to my home with better access hours and 25% less than what I am paying. Already confirmed with new place that they only do rate adjustments every 9 months and the maximum they have done was 9% during a high time. This is acceptable. I made a mistake in signing up with PUBLIC STORAGE but I hope this review helps others in not making the same mistake. I truly hope that public storage corporate reads this and gets their act together. I guess for now I will use my only consumer power and move!! Anyone reading this do not get TRICKED like many of us on YELP. READ all the other negative reviews about shady rate hikes!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
