They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

All new. I was so happy to be done with the flooring and paint project and looking forward to enjoying being back in the house. But no, I have to waste hours chasing down basic redress from a company that won't return emails or letters. I'm trying to resolve this amicably and just want my home to be repaired the way it was before the move. Evidently King of Quality is not interested in doing right by the customer. Recommended if you want someone to trash your house and then ghost you.

I asked the lady translating if the movers left and she acted surprised and said let me call the lead manager to send you new movers and she never got back to me. So unprofessional. Left us hanging and scrambling to find new movers since we only have 2 days left to move. This is not the place to trust to get your moving done.

When I was deciding on a moving pod service to use, I was initially hesitant to choose U-pack…read morebecause of overwhelmingly negative reviews I've seen on Trustpilot. Since U-Pack was the most economical choice out of other options I explored, I decided to take a chance. I'm happy to say I made the right choice. The process of setting up a time and place to drop off my container was very easy. The requirements for the drop-off were clearly explained. However, I wish it was possible to automatically receive a location-specific assessment of whether or not a parking permit for the container was needed and, if so, a link to the location's website for applying for a parking permit. Even better would be if U-Pack could, for a fee, apply for the permit on my behalf. On delivery day and pickup day, the driver who dropped off my container was very courteous. I was easily able to track the status of my container's delivery and arrange for a dropoff of the container at my new location. One suggestion I would have for the dropoff process is allowing for choosing a time for the truck to arrive. I had an incident with a neighbor at my new location where the truck carrying the container was blocking their driveway. He was worried about being able to leave for work on time, although the truck driver had quickly finished his business and left the neighborhood. I would like to be able to schedule the dropoff for after the neighbor had left for work to avoid incidents like this. Overall, I had a positive experience with U-Pack and would definitely consider them again for my next move in the future.

Customer service explained the process by phone and recommended I reserve 2 cubes if I wasn't sure if all of my items would fit into 1, and I ended up needing both cubes. They would not have charged me for the other cube had I ended up not needing it. I hired movers to pack and load the cube on-site at their location with ABF. There is a slight discount to load it on-site. I chose this route because of the discount, but with hiring movers to load them, I think the price would've come out even with having them drop off the cubes at my home and scheduling for pick up. I booked it a couple months in advance and the rates were about 1/3rd or sometimes more of the cost of long distance movers. It required a little bit of coordination overall, but it was worth it. I slowly took my time and drove over 5 days to get to Texas. U-Pack estimated 10-12 days for my stuff to arrive, but it ended up arriving in 5 days! So I was able to receive my belongings right when I had arrived! I must've gotten lucky since friends of mine said their movers took 2 weeks or a month for their stuff to arrive. I feel so blessed! The service was top notch with everyone I interacted with. I used 2 sets of locks, although I don't recommend using the brink lock that U-pack recommends on their website. Because Texas was icy when I arrived, the Brink keyholes had ice in them so I had to melt the ice with a lighter before the keys could fit in. My second lock was a Master Lock magnum lock and for whatever reason, no ice formed in those keyholes. I'd definitely use this service again and will recommend it to others if I need moving cubes.

My furniture and wood & glass cabinets were all wrapped with protective cloth. These guys handled everything with care and listened to my needs.
