I don't know if the family-owned business has issues with running a business I feel completely uncomfortable every time I show up I rarely come to my storage I'm waiting until I have enough to move out into another storage this is completely uncomfortable since the married couple owning this business are insecure and have accused me of wanting her husband my stating that was her husband aggressively to me when I asked for him because he was who I initially got a storage with. She was very aggressive when I asked her to speak with him in decided to let me know that that was her husband then pop my tires after I went up to my storage.... I barely come here because I am not a confrontational person. I can't wait to move this has been the worst storage I've ever rented because of the unprofessional behaviors. I can't believe I haven't written a review for my storage facility! I've been been a patron here for years. This is actually my second time using their facility and I've been storing some of my belongings here for about 3 years consistently now. They are located in a super convenient location, they have good access hours and Dave and Joanne (the couple who runs the storage and lives on-site) are nice friendly people. I used to come in monthly to pay my rent- which wasn't a bother since it's local to me. But then I found out you can auto pay with them so that is even better. read more

My younger son had to move out of his one bedroom apartment in order to save some money. After a battle with his landlord, we came to an agreement to shave 1/2 of the rent since it was a one year lease, yet he could not continue to pay. Long story short, we looked at couple of possibilities including going as far as Morgan Hill, San Jose, and Milpitas, even with those storage places stating a first month $1 rent promotion or even free first month. Although one may think it is cool, but you really should ask yourself why would they do that, what is the catch? Now we land on Allsafe storage which I thought was conveniently located, and we do not have to travel half of the world! I must say that these folks were very professional, understanding to my son's situation, there were no hidden charges, all were upfront. John even recommended a smaller unit to save us money. The guy behind the counter, the one that messed up our account 3 (THREE) times, is an idiot. Now one could say that really, truly, the man is not to blame... If the Allsafe storage company had mandatory aptitude testing for its employees, all of this never would have happened. Because he would never had been hired...but they dont...and he was :( The problem arises when you go into the office and make changes...I had to give them a new card # as my visa was stolen. For some reason this moron took us off of auto pay...every time we went into the office, thank goodness, none to often. This last time, I got a new card, extending the expiration date, I went in to give hi m the new info... WELL ^#$#$!!!!!!, @*^#&^, &^%$, !^@%#$# and ^%%$# kiss my butt you dummy!!!!! H took us off of auto pay, again, this last August when I had to give him the new credit card #. Why does he do that? His reason, "oh, um I must have forgotten" Forgotten what you stupid as a donkeys but idiot? You don't have to take the damn thing off auto pay to change financial info!!!!!! You even said you didn't have to do that you dumb as dirt hyena!!!! So!!! this time it cost me $760 ($60 in fees alone) to come current. Last time it was only $400. Glad I stopped by, they, he even admitted, had mailed NO NOTICES!!!!!!! Glad I have friends, cause guess what we're doing this weekend!!! I'm not paying them another darn dime!!! read more

Never used a self storage facility ever and didn't know one place from another. We went all around San Leandro trying to find a nice clean and reasonable place close to home. The majority of places we went to, the offices were always closed for break or lunch or never open (you know who you are). Everybody has deals, but this place was, the cleanest, had the friendliest managers and the best deal in town. Leora and her husband Tom just started as managers at this facility, but they were managers for Allsafe in Santa Clara, a week before we rented our unit. No one enjoys having their stuff or their loved ones stuff in storage. It's not usually the best experience and looking for a place you can trust and that has a good reputation for customer service is no picnic either. Allsafe in San Leandro is the real deal. Competitively priced and huge you are likely to find something to fit your needs. The best part of this place though is the staff, especially Tom, who really go the extra mile to make sure their customers have everything they need or help deal with any issues that may arise. I've been with All-Safe for about 8 months now. I have to say It's been a pretty pleasant experience. The older gentleman I've dealt with behind the counter is Dave. He's always very friendly and courteous and we always chat a bit when i stop in to pay. The place, including the ofice is always neat and clean and seems modern and organized. They have alarms and all and the staff doesn't seem shady at all so I feeI like my stuff is pretty safe. I did have a credit card signed up with em so I could call in and pay by phone and I did have to change to a new card once but I had no problem like the previous reviewer. I did slip on my payment a couple times but I did recieve prompt notification both times. I'll be leaving All-Safe within the next couple months but I can give them a thumbs up so far. read more

The managers have decades ( but they dont look that old!) of experience--and know what it is like to have to trust someone with your precious belongings. So I just moved into this storage facility a few days ago and I can only sing their praises! I literally called every other place in the East Bay and this one was the best, hands down. Not only is the place clean, unbelievably safe and affordable!, but you won't find service like theirs anywhere else. I've worked with Tom, Lee and Carol and have gotten top-notch service from each of them every time. I honestly felt like I was transported back in time when service was #1. I was able to use their truck to move my things in and I honestly don't know how else I would have done it, other than paying ridiculous prices to rent a truck. So if you're reading this - seriously - don't even bother looking elsewhere. You won't find a better price, a better facility or better service - anywhere. I have no idea why someone would be dumb enough to complain about a great company, with great service. The person who complained, obviously didn't have enough space left on the credit card to complete the transaction, and usually they're the one's who complain. The managers there have been nothing but the best as far as i'm concerned and try to find a more secure storage. This place is the best I've seen and if I didn't like it so much, why would I have been there for 7 years? Anyone can write a bad review on anything on yelp, and some folks just don't know their manners. If you can't say nothing good, don't say anything at all. I thought I had posted a review already, but I guess it's one of those things that I never got around to doing. I have been with All Safe Storage for about 7 years. I originally started storing my stuff here when I found their post on Craigslist. Their prices beat the heck out of the the place I had been storing my stuff. The fact that the units I rented were inside was a plus for me, because I had experienced water damage to some of my stuff at the other storage place, due to a leak in the roof of my unit. Dave, the manager, was super sweet and helpful. He called me the first couple of months when I "spaced" on paying my rent, until I got set up with autopay. I never had any problems when I had to switch cards when mine got stolen (twice!). Dave even called me when my expiration date was almost up, to update my info. My experience storing my stuff with them has always been an excellent one (and I have used several storage facilities in the area since I moved to the East Bay in 1985)!! read more
