If you care about your property I don't recommend this place. I should have listened to my gut. While my property was in a gated area and I assumed there some sort of security that patrols the property. Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores. read more

This place used to be great when Michelle was running the place then out of nowhere she was gone and replaced by some purple haired gal that drives around with her child in tow completely unprofessional. They have brake ins constantly there right off train tracks that bring homeless ppl We didn't realize this place closed at 6 gate entrance and everything we were able to arrange with Michelle later access due to the fact we work and need regular access for tools and supplies plus my husband would help out doing things like stopped a couple thefts that were in the process,, fixed the gate the robbers cutt to get in fixed the cart they ride around in twice no charge, we have been here two years never had a late payment t even still today we show up an they had the nerve to put a lock on our unit, they said to make us mindful to watch our time , as if they 75;wasn't enough or as though were doing this out of spite. It's ridiculous and insane how much this place has gone down hill we will be moving as as soon as humanly possible. his place used to feel good to come to and have our things at We felt looked out for, as though cared about which made this place worth staying. I was 2 min late today from grabbing my fiance and this woman literally stood in front of the gate refusing to let me by to collect my husband and his work tools for the next day, although she fine letting some other tenants friends I assume get late access as I watched 2,other cars enter and even had a friendly conversation with some leaving well over a hour past closing. read more

It was the best experience I could hope for! I reserved a 10x10 unit the day before, get there with only 30-40 minutes to unload everything in my U-Haul and Amber who helped me was soo nice and accommodating! She explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions and gave me great advice. Thanks so much! I really didn't want to give this place a one star but the customer service from office manager Cynthia was HORRIBLE! Not sure what her problem is. The first day of signing my agreement she was short and rude. Second day she was totally out of it and didn't barely speak when I asked questions. I cannot believe a person who work in customer service can be so mean, rude and unprofessional! I canceled my rental agreement. I will not do business with a company who hires unprofessional and rude people to work for them. I took my business elsewhere!!! Cynthia change your attitude and stop being a miserable person! They requested an insurance rider from us and lost it 3 times. We were there less than 3 months and they increased our rent (and they were already the most expensive storage location in the area. Their parking spots are at least 2 feet too narrow, compared to other locations and our spot was VERY difficult to get into and out of. Entrance and exit location is dangerous to use. read more

Ok.. since my last review.. I now have more information about paying your monthly storage payment on line. I found out that the technical issue with online payments was not the fault of MINI SAFE STORAGE. Their was a major power outage in the area, as a result of accident that caused all of the local businesses to loose power. The issue has been resolved and all of my late fees were revised. Very satisfied with the office staff explaining everything and removing all late fees. read more

Staff at Mini Safe Storage are helpful and courteous. Space rent is better priced than competitors. Obi was very helpful in getting rental contract going. There was a mix-up with my monthly payment, but that was no fault of Mini Safe Storage. I lost my bank debit card and had to order a new one. I didn't think to notify my vendors. Tony who works the front desk is professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have been a high maintenance customer, and he handled it. Moving is stressful. On one of my visits, I accidentally drove home with the key to the F storage building. Tony, gave me a friendly call, and even had to stay a little past closing to wait for the key. I told him I would just drop in the box out front, but he stated that would be against company policy and represented his employer well. All staff at Mini Safe Storage are wonderful, but your organization is very lucky to have an employee like Tony. read more

After shopping around the area for low rates, a secure location for my things, and a good staff to make this miserable move at least bearable, I ended up finding all three in one place here at Mini Safe Storage. From start to finish these guys were knowledgable in helping me chose the correct size unit for my stuff and pleasant in scheduling a time & day to borrow their moving truck (FOR FREE!) to move in. easy breezy paperwork, really good location, and low rental rates! ya can't go wrong with Mini Safe! read more

Prices were cheaper than the rest but young guy at the desk acted as if I was disturbing him. I know it's only a place I'm deciding to store my valuables for at least a year since I'll be leaving the country but naaaaah. When we moved out I saw at least 4 rats in the unit. When we got our stuff home, rat feces was in everything. We only had our stuff in storage there for seven months. Never again. Do not use this facility. If this app would allow no stars, that would be my rating. read more

Needed a storage for a few months, they had a promotion. Good price, convenient location, secure. Tony, the manager is amazing. He is almost like a 1 man show, answer phones, run around showing units, send emails, take care of billing, very busy but still always very polite, patient and professional. He explains everything great, taking his time and make sure to find a suitable arrangement. The only inconvenience was that could not pay online or set up auto pay for promotional units and had to call, walk in or send a check every month to make a payment. read more

I needed to store my car for a few months while out of the country. From the first phone call Chad was super helpful. He invited me to take a look at the place, we toured around in the golf buggy looking at available spots, and he went through all the contractual and site details with me. The security on the site is impressive. They have a key code controlled gate, and guard dogs on site. My car was stored underneath a canopy so it still looked great when I collected it. The price was very competitive, and the level of service I received was so much better than their competition in Alameda. It's easy to get there as they are about 10-15 minutes on foot from Bay Fair BART station. When I no longer needed the space, Chad was again really helpful in getting everything closed out. Alex and George are standup guys. i reserved and paid for a covered spot but my enclosed trailer would not fit when i tried to park a week later. Although Alex was very accommodating in trying to find me another spot, they didn't have any other spot available where i could fit my trailer. Alex sent my full refund as promised. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. if i had a small trailer or one of the bigger spots open up, i would definitely move to them vs. where i'm storing my trailer now. place is secure and gated. read more
