Without going into detail, the previous manager had a very aggressive interactive style. I felt helicoptered under this person's management style. I will make this positive declaration: I appreciate that the precious manager had a small, drive up space available in a very desirable location on the premises. When Kyle came, he was like a drink of wonderfully cold, refreshing, and calming water on a sweltering, hot summer day. Kyle is the only reason, I enjoyed my stay at PS. I could take my time to organize and deal with my belongings. No helicoptering. Kyle has a gentle spirit. He is also very diligent about doing his tasks and ensuring that things are safe and in order. I had promised to give a good review, but failed to do so until now. Today, I went in to see Kyle, and apologize for not writing the review, but discovered that he is on vacation. The lady who is filling in for Kyle is also very gracious. The minute I walked in, she spoke with kindness and professionalism. Her name is Michele. So, now there are TWO reasons to rent from PS: Kyle AND Michelle! I decided to put off my review no longer! The biggest reason for 3 stars is the kiosk that never works. What was the point of the company spending money on a kiosk out side, that you can't actually use after business hours??? Of course I can always call and make payment or do online, but that's extra time having to type out your CC number and everything else. The point of a kiosk like this is to simply tap your card quickly, and go. The card reader says "Ready" but when I go to make actual payment, I always get this error message in the picture. They need to fix it once and for all. Has been like this for months. Maybe because not many people use it, but for those of us that do us it, we want it to work! Sometimes in the middle of the night on my way home, I just want to stop by and pay the bill right quick without having to go online or stop and pay over the phone. The elevator in one of the buildings was malfunctioning at one point but they did seem to get that fixed thankfully.

We reached out to the on-site manager, Mark. He was very kind and went above and beyond by making some phone calls to find us a water source close by where we can fill up our water tank. close by is the Pleasanton fairgrounds and they were more than happy to let us use their water. Thank you, Mark for providing excellent customer service by making some phone calls to find the water for your tenants. Job well done!

Shady company, i needed to downsize from a $500 unit and public storage has pushed me aside again…read moreand again. So I opened a new smaller unit and closed up the larger one. I was trying to get se things out I didn't want to keep and I was speaking with multiple staff (none return ur call and all of them don't know how much). I was quoted $100 for move out fees then $250 by two other people (ann at this location was one of them). I moved my things so I find to we the fee and public storage still billed me an extra $100 fee for moving out. U guys are shady to your customers and your prices are theft worthy. They were asking me to keep my unit and they'd charge me $120 less a month. Seriously I'm paying $500 but your willing to charge less but not give me a smaller unit. My cousin was also treated poorly find a unit with actual people on site who care.

I should have listened to my gut…read more While my property was in a gated area and I assumed there some sort of security that patrols the property. Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores.
