The biggest reason for 3 stars is the kiosk that never works. What was the point of the company spending money on a kiosk out side, that you can't actually use after business hours??? Of course I can always call and make payment or do online, but that's extra time having to type out your CC number and everything else. The point of a kiosk like this is to simply tap your card quickly, and go. The card reader says "Ready" but when I go to make actual payment, I always get this error message in the picture. They need to fix it once and for all. Has been like this for months. Maybe because not many people use it, but for those of us that do us it, we want it to work! Sometimes in the middle of the night on my way home, I just want to stop by and pay the bill right quick without having to go online or stop and pay over the phone. The elevator in one of the buildings was malfunctioning at one point but they did seem to get that fixed thankfully.

Beware of this place and esp Public Storage!! We all know storage places are greedy corporations…read morewho always get you in with a low price then jack up the rent on you... However THIS PLACE has hit a new low. In less than a year they more than doubled my rent! Raised my rates 2x (they tried for 3 but I asked for a break so they gave me a little reprieve but then doubled it later) I am now paying $534 per month when I was in the $200 range to begin. They even said that this rate was higher than most of this size but they "couldn't do anything about it." Shame on them! Shame on them for continually baiting and switching, taking advantage of you, knowing how hard it is to find time, money and people to help you move your stuff if you don't want to pay exorbitant prices! On top of all this, I've seen people cutting off locks, and random just walking through the area...and the office person although very nice is often not there during business hours. So therefore in the beginning couple of months, I had to even pay more by paying for insurance that I didn't need. That's another way that they get you... Forcing you to pay for their insurance, and forcing you to only be able to cancel that if you have your own insurance with your home insurance (which I do), by going in and doing it in person... knowing that there isn't somebody always there and so you're just at the mercy of hoping that they are physically there. Absolutely ridiculous that you can't just cancel this online. I will never in my life use Public Storage again, I wish everybody would do the same, or I wish somebody would do something about this conundrum ...

I should have listened to my gut…read more While my property was in a gated area and I assumed there some sort of security that patrols the property. Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores.
