I have been here once before and never really thought about giving it a review. I came again just the other day and was blown away by all the choices there was. Not just bagels but sandwiches , desserts, drinks. You can sit down and have lunch inside or out. You can see the meat is fresh as it is in a glass case to choose from. I had the bagel bites as I wasn't very hungry and had no idea they had so many other selections. They place was very busy. This says a lot about a business for me. The bagel bites were surprising. They were cinnamon flavored and when you bite into one right in the middle is cream cheese. That is all I have thought about and I will probably go by there tomorrow and get a bag of them to bring home. Just the right size for a snack and so very good. I will be a regular now. read more

Just went there with two girls that are there all the time. The staff is friendly and hardworking. They know everyone's name and it is just overall a great place to get a bite to eat. I had the Pumpkin Bagel with honey/almond cream cheese. It was amazing. The selection available makes it a little hard to choose a bagel my first time there. I recommend Everything Bagel to anyone looking for a great breakfast or lunch. It is a great chance to not only support a personally owned business but to meet some good people too. read more

I'd say this is the Drake's Deli of bagels, and for people that are on this side of town. My sandwich with pesto aioli (which is hard to come by at sandwich shops) was so big but well proportioned. I could only eat half, so I had 2 meals for the $8 I paid. And that came with a pickle and chips! My husband's bagel sandwich was equally as large, I could barely bite into it.. but delicious. On this side of town healthy choices are hard to come by, and Panera Bread is expensive for not a lot of food. This will be my new spot when I don't want greasy fried stuff! read more

Food was great as always have been coming her for many many years. Incredibly disappointed to see not a single employee wore a mask at all. No changes to cream , shared containers, same with coffee. This is a classic New England deli/bagel place. The sort of place this New Yorker goes into withdrawals for. Enough said, but here's a funny story: The woman suggests we go to a place called "bagels" near home depot for a quick breakfast before work. Walk in and it's a classic NY style breakfast layout down to the shitty hand drawn signs and glass case filled with random food and of course a lox spread. I ask the sassy lady behind the counter calling everyone chief, Hon and pal where the owner is from. She snorts "joysey" and I pay. I then realize that a bunch of people in line or talking nearby have NY accents. Including one from my home town. Another black haired Italian is gossiping with a cowboy hat wearing ex li cop. We all introduce each other. Strange to be in Florida during such encounters. It's like a little pocket of home has been teleported here. The woman continues to be amazed that I can immediately pick out my northern brethren from a full room and how quickly we all start talking about Italian food places. The bagel bites are amazing, everything else is pretty damn good, even the coffee. Maybe not as good as some bagel places in NY but it's the best thing you'll find in Florida. It's docked a star because they also microwave their eggs - which is unacceptable. Get a griddle - you know that crap wouldn't fly up north! Ultimately Everything Bagel is our "go to" option for a fast breakfast now, with the Blue Hen being reserved for a sit down and service style place. read more

Bagles are pretty good. They are big. Not too dense. Lots of choices. Lots of things getting microwaved here, like eggs. Coffee is good. Great place to watch people come and go. $5 per dozen from 2-3PM read more

For a not-in-nyc, local bagel store they're very good. A little too bread-y, could be chewier but certainly better than a brueggers type chain or anything from a grocery store. Great toppings and staff, a great place to stop and stock up while on vacation. read more

I got Turkey bacon tomatoes lettuce on sourdough and she got everything bagel with salmon cream cheese w avocado and spinach. Both were Incredable!!!!! Coffee was also great! Okay -- Last year I reviewed these guys and suggested they update the place. Well they did, but I went in recently and so much has changed and again not for the better. Yes, they spruced up the place, but without management around the workers get a bit lazy. First off, the owner is rarely at the shop. This is always a disastrous decision to make in the restaurant/food business. It's starting to show that the owner isn't there often. The service is getting a bit dull, again the cleanliness of the work stations is starting to look bad and dirty. Honestly, the new paint and wall menu helped, but there's still zero ambience to this place. As St. Augustine grows restaurants must be willing to change and make things better. Status Quo isn't working. Honestly, the last time I went I was disappointed the chicken salad was just Okay and I felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness. A menu change maybe in order and perhaps the owner should show up and stay during the day to see how things are moving along during the day. I think I'm going to stop going. It's a matter of fact, I'm going less and less because there aren't any new options! How about organic salads, sweetener alternatives, i.e. stevia, and other sustainable alternatives. Frankly, I'm bored and the new paint job only made me fall in love with this place for one visit. Sorry -- Not enough good changes to keep me coming for the price point. read more

Delicious!! So great to get blueberry bagel with actual blueberries! I do wish 2 things: 1. A few more blueberries. They seem to be sparse most times. 2. Keep the onions far away. By far the BEST bagels in the Jacksonville area. I have tried a few of the different bagels and have never been disappointed. I LOVE the lox and bagels made to perfection, loaded with lox and all the other good stuff, capers, onions, etc. I am so impressed with this place. We first tried the bagels a few years back at the St. Augustine Farmers Market and fell in love. My husband went back to the vendor and found out if they had an actual store - we went the following week and the week after that - you get the idea. We move out of Jax and were recently in the area and ran to Everything Bagel and after a few years the bagels are still awesome and of course I ordered the lox and bagel and it was the best just as I remembered. read more

This place has to be a joke. We stumbled upon it trying to find breakfast one morning and it is amazing. The egg breakfast sandwiches have about 4 eggs on them and are some of the best I have had. Great local restaurant located near Hobby Lobby. I hadn't heard much about the place, but my wife stops in often due to the close proximity to her school. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast or lunch, as they close fairly early. Bagels are made fresh daily, with a lot of choices including seasonal bagels. Thy also offer sandwiches and wraps along with some tasty looking deserts. I had a tuna melt on fresh baked bread and it was pretty darn good. The bread was fresh and toasted, and the tuna was fresh and delicious, with just the right amount of fixins. Throw in a bag of chips and a soda, and I got a great meal at a good price. Staff was super friendly, to boot. There are a few great local sandwich shops in the area, and this is one of them. I always try to support the local businesses, and I highly recommend this one if you're looking for a nice meal for breakfast or lunch.
