Here's what I've ordered so far Poached Peach tart (10/10): I can still taste this tart in my dreams. Super peachy, moist, and fluffy puff pastry exterior adding the perfect crunch. Lavendar Matcha (8/10): Probably the best place in Irvine I've seen do Matcha so far. They have good quality matcha, and the decorations of the drink also spruces it up. Strawberry Matcha Latte (6/10): Not a big fan of to be honest. They lacked adding enough strawberry puree compared to places like Boba Guys or your regular boba place, and it tasted solely like matcha and ice after a while. I absolutely LOVE this place! It's been my go-to brunch spot for years. The line can get a bit long, especially if you come during peak times, but it's totally worth it. You order at the front of the line, and then you seat yourself before they bring you your food! The matcha lattes here are hands down the best in Irvine, and I love that they offer interesting flavors like lavender and rose that you can add to the matcha. They also use Mizuba Matcha powder, which is super high quality with such a rich and creamy taste. As for the food, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The spinach feta omelette and the morning market scramble are both amazing, but my absolute favorite is the breakfast burrito. The salsa and chipotle aioli are out of this world, and the portion size is huge! The ricotta hotcakes are also a must-try. There was quite a lengthy wait, so make sure to get there early! Food also takes about 25-30 min, depends on how busy it gets. Ordering was fairly easy. You stay in line till you order with the cashier and find our own table. There's not a lot of seating inside the store because its a bit small, but there are plenty of outdoor seatings available. First few bites in, the bacon was too thick and a bit hard for me so I gave them to my bf. The jalapenos didn't really help too much, the egg was okay, but the most I least enjoyed was the bread. The bread was too airy and was a bit plain. The overall meal tasted a bit plain. The potatoes that came with my order could have been baked/fried more, they tasted almost barely just cooked. This is strictly a review for the Manager at this restaurant. This area has probably 8 different restaurants all next to each other. Pretty much grab and go. Customers mainly eat outside and sit wherever. Me and my wife and kids go out for lunch today, wife and daughter want Everyday Eatery, me and my son choose something else. Wife gets food and decides to sit in Everyday Eatery and then my son and I join them. Not 2 minutes in to eating, I presume it's the Manager interrupts us and says "excuse me, you cannot bring food in here from other establishments, our policy is posted on the front door. I will let you stay this time though." My wife and I are in our mid 40's, we eat out all the time on the weekends. Never in my life has a grab and go restaurant ever said this to us. You will let us stay but next time you will kick us out? Haaa, made me as the customer feel pretty crappy, ruined my lunch for sure. I think this place needs to really ask themselves if confronting your paying customer like this is worth it. I think posting the policy is fair, but do you really want to try and enforce this and alienate your customers? My wife will for sure never eat here again and I will never go here, ever. I actually confronted the Manager after I ate and told her that speaking to paying customers like this is not a good business practice and that her statement made us feel unappreciated. She didn't seem to get it but oh well, good thing there are many other places to eat around here where the establishments make you feel welcome. read more

Delightful is definitely worth a try and it will leave you wanting more. It truly has something new for EVERYDAY. So many things I wanted to try. I enjoyed my nourish bowl, but I wish there was a protein to add to it. It was good, as it was light and filled with good stuff. Would also be nice to have a bit more acidity and crunch in the bowl other than sunflower seeds or pickled onions. I'll probably try something else next time. The BURRITOS and PANCAKES looked amazing potentially with a WELLNESS LATTE or KOMBUCHA ON TAP. Only things I would encourage are some organic options but I assume most customers are indifferent. What I thought was unique was the variety in options as well as the LARGER PORTION sizes which are harder to find at trendy health food spot. The side of roasted potatoes rather than fries was also unique to me. The cafe really makes me want to visit NEW ZEALAND because if this is a taste of the life there I am all about it. read more

I've had Everyday Eatery on my list of places to try for a while now and finally got around to it this week but my experience ended up being fine but slightly disappointing. We arrived just before noon and the place was not unexpectedly very busy. We ordered the Honey bee latte, hot Mocha, Lemon ricotta hotcakes and the Baja sandwich but substituted the tomato for housemade tomato jam. The drinks were both very weak and the most disappointing part of the meal. The lemon ricotta hotcakes were fine overall - the lemon was very faint but the housemade honeycomb butter was delicious. The Baja sandwich was my favorite thing I tried with the tomato jam in particular being excellent. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but the crowdedness + price in addition to the food/drinks being a mixed bag probably means I won't be frequenting for brunch but would still recommend the Baja sandwich with tomato jam substitution. read more

I visited with friends on a Sunday during peak lunch hours. The line was moving pretty fast, but we decided to order online and look for seating so we could get our food quicker. I ordered the Baja Sandwich which was so delicious, I picked the side salad to pair with it. I also ordered an iced vanilla latte which was perfect. The staff were really friendly and ready to help in any way. When I'm in the area I hope to eat here again! Arrived at 9 am and there was a little queue already outside the door, so we queued for about 15 min before placing our order at the counter and getting a number. If you've ordered an espresso drink, don't wait around as they'll bring it to your table. There's a small dining area inside, so we headed outside to find seats instead in the shared plaza outdoor patio. We waited about 5 min for our coffee and about 15 min for our food. Market scramble: felt really healthy with all the veggies and was extremely filling. You can get toast or salad, and there's plenty of potatoes. Spanish latte: so good! Breakfast burrito: you get the option of a bacon, turkey sausage, or chicken and it's pretty big and very filling. My friends had been posting about Everyday Eatery for awhile. I finally told my husband that I wanted to go out for brunch. He let me pick the spot. The menu is straightforward. They serve Stumptown Coffee here. We decided to split the Bacon & Egg breakfast sandwich and the Espresso Mascarpone waffle. I opted for the Rose Cardamom latte while he had the regular drip coffee. We paid at the counter and were handed a number. We seated ourselves outside. The food took about 15-20 minutes before it came out. The drinks arrived first. Their sugar and cream for the coffee is to the right of the register. They have a restroom for customers inside. My latte had a lovely balance of cardamom and rose flavors. It was light and not super heavy on the floral notes. The latte was really good. My husband thought he could handle the coffee without any milk or sugar but he quickly took a 180 and went back to the counter for it. Our food was very picturesque, but better yet, the food tasted as good as it looked. We chowed down and it was a satisfying meal. I really liked the soft brioche paired with the crispy bacon and runny egg. The waffle had lots of fruit scattered about and the espresso mascarpone was a creamy spread. It was served with maple syrup on the side and it was delightful. I really enjoyed our entrees and it was a nice respite from all the cooking we did over the Thanksgiving weekend. read more

I've been here a couple times and I've had a pretty good experience each time. The last time I came here I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and a breakfast burrito. The food was good, but I have to say the food menu is a bit basic for what you're paying. I hoped they would have more unique breakfast options; a lot of the food is food I've seen everywhere. I brought my wife and son, who is a toddler, here after a charity 5k race this morning. The food is delicious, the drinks are heavenly, and the ambiance is welcoming. There was a long line to order but they had a host at the door who was helping manage people traffic. The inside only seats about 20 people but there was plenty of outdoor seating as most of the stores in the shopping center were closed on Sunday morning at 11:30am. I had the lavendar latte which dazzles the tastebuds but I must warn you that the lavendar buds are quite strong so don't eat them at the end like I did as there was a 30 minute wait for our food. My wife had the Spanish Latte. She was told it was quite sweet. She doesn't like overly sweet drinks and they were happy to reduce the sweetness by half for her. I had the Spinach Feta Ommelette. The greens were perfectly tossed in a suttle lemon vinagrette. The potatoes had a lovely blend of herbs and were tender just like I love them. I was easily able to peel off the skin for my son. The ommelete was amazing with taste explosions that will channel the movie Ratatouille in your mind. If you know, you know. My wife had the Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes which reminded me of a more luxurious Betty Crocker Lemon Cake Batter in pancakes with strawberries, blueberries,and bananas. The whole plate was dusted in sugar. The wife couldn't polish it off in one sitting so she happily brought home leftovers. The fruit and scrambled eggs were for the baby but alas he was being difficult and wouldn't even try them. He is in that "No" phase where he just throws the food. However, we were just happy to know that they could offer us anything for our little one - even if he refused to try it. He is quite finicky to say the least. Parking was tight when we came but we lucked out and found a spot. We weren't sure we would find a table, either, but one opened up just is we ordered. There were no high chairs, booster seats, or changing tables so I knocked off a star on my review. We will probably come again but pack a booster seat in addition to our stroller and just change his diaper in the car. For the savory breakfast item, the breakfast burrito with bacon is my go-to. The scrambled eggs are not dry at all and it's cooked with green onions which adds a nice flavor. The portion is the perfect size to share between 2 people. For the sweet breakfast item, I like going with the lemon ricotta pancakes or the french toast. The pancakes tasted like lemon cupcakes. It was really delicious but little too dense for breakfast, so I would go with the French toast instead. Overall, Everyday Eatery is a great brunch place that uses clean and fresh ingredients. We just came over after visiting my mom at Kaiser hospital to split a sandwich. We got the turkey pesto and country bread with the salad. We have to say that was one of the best sandwiches we've had in a very long time. It had great flavors, was a big portion, and the bread was fantastic! We highly recommend this place.
